They all reached the academy, disheartened, broke. They didn't find anything to say. Amara was a powerhouse of happiness for them.
For Karan, she was his teammate, he found her so late and now he couldn't have her with him forever.
For Monami, she was the reason to live. Monami had been living for her since Karan was not with her.
For Nikhil, Saumya, Ruhi, they lost their sister, their plan maker, their savior, their cupid.
For Faizi, Sanjana, Sid and Koel, she was their niece and they bonded with her so well that they could never think of losing her.
For Rishi, he lost her bro. Her best friend, her crime partner, her everything.
"Papa, please khaana toh khaa lijiye!" Nikhil and Saumya were trying to feed everyone. It was the night and no one spoke a word. Monami kept crying and Karan was a dead alive. "Baby, Ishaan kaha hai?"
"Mujhe nahi pata, vo jab se nikla Amara ko dhundhne..." Nikhil ran to his phone. No matter when Ishaan said he loved Amara, if he got to know about her demise he would be so depressed again. He lost his parents really young and now Amara. He called him and he picked up in the second ring. "Ish, kaha hai tu?"
"Hospital me!"
"Hospital me?"
"Han!" Ishaan got up as the doctor approached him. "Doctor, Amara kaisi hai?"
"Goli nikle hue time ho gaya hai, ab toh conscious bhi ho jayegi 1 ghante me." Nikhil heard that from the other side and shouted in shock gaining everyone's attention.
"Amara zinda hai?" He said over the phone. All got up and ran towards him. "Han Nikhil, maine text kara toh tha tujhe, Saumya di ko aur Karan sir ko?" All opened their phones and the texts.
Ishaan
Sir, Amara safe hai, maine use vaha se bacha liya hai. Dead body mannequin hai with fake blood.
They all ran towards the hospital. "Amu!" Monami and Karan hugged her tightly, taking care. She smiled like a child. "Tum phone nahi karr sakte the?" Karan said angrily to Ishaan. "Papa!" Amara looked at him and he kept his hands on his nape nervously. "Thank you Ishaan!" Monami said gratefully.
"Vaise toh moment sahi nahi hai, parr yeh sab hua kaise bro?" Sid and Rishi said together. Ishaan smiled and started.
"Hello Ishaan! Ishaan yeh log under construction buildings jo jungle ke paas hai unko target kar rahe hai! Yeh pendrive lekar bhi mujhe nahi chordhega, yeh mom-dad se badla lena chahta hai! Please Ishaan, kuch aisa karo ki isko pata bhi na chale aur iska plan fail ho jaye!" An escaped Amara said over the phone. "Amara, tum meri baat dhyaan se suno..."
"Humne yeh plan banaya ki vaha jab aap log apne plan ke hisaab se pahochoge, hum uski activity ko track karenge, kyuki Amara was caught again. Galti sabse badi Aneesh ki yeh thi ki usne naa toh pendrive check karwayi, aur jabb Amara pakdi gayi, usne bass use kamre me band karr diya jisme uske paas phone tha, ek usi ke aadmi ka churaya hua. We planned everything, humne yeh decide kiya ki agar time se agents pahoch jaate hai toh clear ho jayega, lekin agar vo sir aapse ya ma'am se badla lene ke liye Amara ke saath kuch karta hai toh precautionary mai neeche wali floor parr rahunga aur usse vaha se bacha lunga." Ishaan explained.
Then Amara continued, "And when Aneesh shot me, mai neeche giri parr puri tarah se nahi uske beech me maine floor ka end pakad liya aur vaha se Ishaan ne mjhe upaar kheench liya and then he got me here, goli ki vajah se. Mannequin phenk di humne taaki Aneesh ko shakk na ho. Uske baad Ishaan ne aap logo ko text kar diya as I fell down unconscious as soon as mai uparr pahochi. And that's how it ends." Amara and Ishaan ended.
"Bro plan toh accha tha parr goli jo lagi uske baad tu ruki rahi uss floor parr! Amu bro you're so strong." Rishi said side-hugging her. "Chal chal!" Amara smacked his forehead lightly. "They're so us Monu!" Sid also hugged Monami who smiled and nodded. "Aisa lagta hai generations aage bhadne ke baad bhi vahi dosti, vahi pyaar aur vahi desh ke liye izzat." Monami smiled and all nodded.
"Guys, let's go back. I don't like hospitals."
"You're a doctor?" Ishaan said stunned. "It means to be admitted Ishaan! Come on aap sab log jaao, I'm with her." Karan commanded and all left as they were now habitual to follow his orders.
"I'm proud of you." Karan said caressed Amara's cheeks, she grinned. "Thank you dad, mai shaayd aapse 23 saal tak nahi mili, parr mai aapke baare me sab kuch jaanti hoon. Nanu ne mujhe aap logo ki saari kahaniya sunayi hai. Vaise yeh Balli chachu abhi bhi hai?"
"Kisi din aayega toh milwaunga aapko. Usne bhi training complete ki, aaj vo bhi SAF me trainer hai." Amara synced a wow. "Aapse mai kuch maangu? Aap mana toh nahi karenge?" Karan smiled and nodded. "Vo... actually..."
"Bolo baccha, jo chahiye vo milega..."
"Noodles and coffee?" Karan chuckled to her demand as he remembered coffee. He nodded, "Vaise toh noodles nahi dene chahiye but Monami ko mat batana!" Amara nodded with a wide grin and Karan went to get them for her.
"Karan tum kya kar rahe ho, Amu kaha hai?" Monami said over the video call.
"Mai apni beti ke liye coffee le jaa raha tha." Karan said and Monami raised her eyebrows and smiled. "Tum bahot khush ho na Karan-"
"Dad ban gaya hoon mai Monami, I know I missed her childhood, parr jo hai usme hi khushi dhundhte hai na." Monami soon thought of a teasing session. "Parr Karan ab toh Amara 24 ki ho gayi hai, 26-27 ki hogi tb toh shaadi karni pdegi na uski?"
"No ways Captain Monami Mahajan, aap hamari beti humse cheen nahi sakti." Karan whined and Monami chuckled. He reached Amara's ward and went inside. "Puch lo, Amara tum shaadi nahi karogi na kabhi?"
"Dad practically age ke baad toh karni hi hai. Pyaar hona chahiye." Karan frowned and both the ladies chuckled. "Aaj se koi bhi ladka tumse dosti karne ko kahe toh mujhe batana!" Amara squinted her eyes at Karan. "Tumhe pyaar ho gya toh?"
"Ho toh gya hi hai..." Amara muttered under her breath, "Kuch kaha kya?"
"Nope, not at all."
They all reached the academy very soon after Amara was discharged. All welcomed her with a big party and they all enjoyed happily.
"Rest well, dawai leli hai?" Amara shook her head as it was Karan who came again to her room after Monami left. "Dad, mai ab bilkul thik hoon. Agar ab yaha aap dono me se koi aaya toh mai..."
"Okay, okay!" Karan and Amara smiled and Karan left. Amara was about to close the gate when someone covered her mouth and her eyes widened in shock. "YOU? What the heck are you doing here? Bahaar papa..."
"Ice-cream?" Amara smiled at Ishaan. "Copying me I see..." They both sat down on Amara's bed and had their ice-creams. "Dad ko kab batana hai?"
"Uh..." Ishaan smiled nervously. "What? Mom dad ko toh batana padega na?" Amara said relishing her ice-cream. "I know, but abhi?"
"Come-on Ish, tum ek special agent ho?"
"Amu, tumhare dad pata hai kon hai? Major Karan Shergill! And tumhe acchi tarah se pata hai ki vo kitne possessive hai tumhare liye." Amara wrapped her arms around his hand. "Ish, saath me mana lenge na! Mai nahi chahti unhe kisi aur se pata chale?"
"Okay rajkumari sahiba aur kuch?" Amara shook her head and smiled at him. He got up and they both smiled at each other before Ishaan went towards his room and before leaving he whispered, "I love you!" in Amara's ears and she grinned.
All of them came to the mess the next day. All had wide grins on their faces, the couples soon sat together. Amara sat with Monami and Karan as she fed Karan. They all left for their drills after that. Amara wasn't allowed so she sat on the bean bag eating chips.
Ishaan noticed some weird stares on him and they were none other than Nikhil, Rishi, Saumya and Ruhi. He gave them an awkward smile as they smiled back doing their work simultaneously.
The drills were over and Ishaan was about to go out when the 4 stopped him with a smirk.
"Proposed?" Ruhi said casually, Ishaan's eyes widened at her. "Sorry?"
"Oye zyada sorry-vorry nahi sunna hume. Jaldi bata, Amara ko propose kar diya?" Ishaan looked here and there. "Nahi kiya Ishaan bro?" Rishi said with a disappointed face. "Yaar tune kabhi dekha hai ki bhai apni behen ko propose karne ko keh raha ho?"
"Yes Ishaan bro, aap propose karr daalo!" Ruhi said and hi-fied with Nikhil. "Han, aapne toh meri bro ki jaan bachayi hai, aap uska khyaal rakh loge." Rishi smiled and kept his hands over Saumya's shoulders. "+1!" Saumya nodded and patted Ishaan's shoulders.
"Meri bhi sun lo?" Ishaan said before they go ahead. "Mujhe yeh sab nahi aata..."
"Arey hum hai na?"
"She should like me the way I am. Mai expressive nahi hu... That's how she loves me right?"
"+1!" Amara said coming in. She ruffled Ishaan's hair and smiled at the four. "Koi baat nahi aap logo thode se late ho gaye."
"Congo Amu bro!" Rishi hugged her and everyone soon joined.
"Toh firr chachu ko kab batayenge?" Saumya thought. "Kya batana hai mujhe?" Karan and all the elders came there.
"Hume? Hume jo batana hai vo Ishaan batayega!" Nikhil nervously pointed at him. Ishaan gave him the expression of killing him. "Sir, vo actually, aapki princess batayengi. Boliye rajkumari sahiba boliye." Monami had heard him calling Amara the same for the first time and smiled. Amara looked at Ishaan and then at Karan. "Dad, mai soch rahi thi kyu na hum kahi vacation ke liye. Puri family." All nodded, Monami smiled.
"Nahi Amu, vaise bhi training kuch time me khatam hone hi wali hai. Toh uske baad chalte hai." Monami said and Amara pouted and nodded. "Koi nahi, complete karke chalenge." All sat down their talking. Amara looked at Ishaan who just gave her an assured nod. Monami saw that and smiled again.
"Amara, chalo chalo jaldi batao..." Monami said coming to her room and Amara looked at her questioningly. "Kya batana hai mumma?"
"Vahi jo tum sabse chupa sakti ho lekin apni mumma se nahi." Amara sighed. "Fine, aapse chupana, impossible." Monami gave a victory smile. Amara told Monami about her and Ishaan who nodded in the end. "Karan se mai baat kar lungi, tum chinta mat karo."
"Yay mumma you are the best!" Amara hugged Monami happily. "Amara..." Ishaan came inside her room with a horrified face. He looked at Monami who smiled and he understood. "Ma'am..."
"Ishaan bolo toh kya hua?"
"Karan sir!"
"Kya kiya Karan ne?" Monami asked casually. "Unhone mujhse pucha mera shaadi ke baare me kya khyaal hai." Amara held her head and sat down. "Fir puchte hai tumhari koi girlfriend toh nahi hai." Ishaan said with a horrified face. "Papa confuse karr rahe hai."
"Confuse nahi kar raha Karan. Vo shaayd Ishaan ko tumhare liye choose karna chahta hai." Amara looked at Monami confused. "Han, shaayad." Monami smiled. "Fine, chalo Karan se baat kar lete hai."
"Mujhse kya baat karni hai?" Karan said coming inside. "Dad!"
"Sir!"
"Karan!" Monami said looking at him. "2 Baatein!" Amara raised her fingers. "Pehli, yeh subah se iss academy me chal kya raha hai." The three smiled awkwardly at him. "Dusri, mujhe kya batana hai."
"Karan yaha bheto..." Monami made him sit. "See Amara has grown up... so mtlb ab she can develop feelings or liking towards someone, like this is a scientific thing..."
"Rani Sahiba! Saaf saaf bolo!"
"2 Baatein dad!" Karan raised his fingers and waited. "Pehli, I have fallen in love." Karan got up. "What?"
"And dusri, that boy is..." Amara closed her eyes. "Is Ishaan." Karan completed and she opened her eyes looking at him shocked. "What? Remember hospital me mai hi ruka tha tumhare saath." Amara looked at him confused.
"Ishaan mai thik hu, tumne hi toh jaan bachayi thi meri."
"Amara, vaise toh Karan sir tumhara khyaal rakhenge, but tumne kuch cheat kara toh tum dekhna. Mai rukna chahta tha but kaise rukta!" Amara smiled. "I know, everything happens for something good, dekho, isi vajah se kamm se kamm tumne mujhe bataya toh sahi ki tum mujhse pyaar karte ho!" Amara giggled. "Tum!"
"Fine fine, mai khyaal rakhungi! I love you!"
"I love you too!" Ishaan said and they cut the call.
"Aapko tabb se pata hai?" Karan nodded with a winning smile. "Mai wait kar raha tha tumhara mujhe batane ke liye." Amara smiled and hugged him. "Toh aapko koi problem toh nahi hai?"
"Hai toh sahi, but mai Mr. Mahajan yaani ki tumhare nanu jaisa nahi hu!" Monami pouted at Karan who gave a toothy smile. "And Ishaan, vaise toh mai tumhe acchi tarah se jaanta hoon, parr firr bhi matter meri jaan ka hai."
"Sir, aapki jaan bilkul safe hai, meri jaan se bhi zyada." Ishaan smiled and Monami grinned. "But you still love me more right?"
"Yes dad, mom ke saath toh ho gaye ab 24-25 years, bored!" Amara said teasingly and hugged Karan. Monami squinted her eyes at Amara and Karan. "Join my team Ishaan?" Ishaan nodded happily and hugged Monami.
Ishaan found solace in Amara, who came to his life, just to find her parents' happiness but found her happiness in him.
Soon, Saumya-Rishi and Nikhil-Nitya got married while Ishaan and Amara were still dating. Amara and Rishi joined the team after an year of their training. Now, Ishaan and Amara were the head trainers as Saumya and Nikhil left for the field forces.
Karan and Monami were happy in their life, Amara was always with them. They were proud of their daughter who was the combination of his practical mindset and her selfless nature.
