April's pov:
I took a deep breath before ringing the doorbell
A few seconds later a cute Luke with messy hair and grey shirt opened the door and when he saw me he smiled showing his cute dimples
I stood there staring at him for a few seconds
God I wanted to remember every detail on that face so clearly like it has been printed in my head
"Hey, you didn't tell me you were coming, come in" he smiled and opened the door wider
When I stepped in, he closed the door and started walking and I followed like a lost puppy
Apparently his destination was the kitchen
I leaned against the door as I watched him flex his muscles
I can't believe I'm in his house
I've been coming to his house alot since I've started tutoring him and one day I was explaining something to him, one second I was talking then the other his lips were on mine
After years of dreaming I finally had his attention
And now i just had to leave him
But I'll probably just leave for a week or two, a month at most
But if my brother catches me I'll probably never see Luke again
So it's necessary to tell him goodbye
"-April?" My thoughts were cut off when I heard Luke saying my name
Shit he asked me a question
"...uh yeah" I blushed looking down
What did he ask again?
"Oh Really?" He laughed
That's good right?
He's laughing that means I didn't fuck up right?
"Pfffft totally" if he's laughing then I'll go along with it because his laugh is adorable
"I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you because my parents are home so I can't" he chuckled
Shit what did he ask?
"Can't?" he handed me water and I took a sip
"Have sex with you" I spit all the water that was in my mouth
"Sorry" I cringed at the mess I made
"It's fine" he pulled me away from the kitchen and told a maid to clean the water I spilt
Yes he's rich rich
We went up to his room and I sat down on his bed
"So what brings you here? Really this time?" He chuckled
"I'm leaving to Italy for a few weeks" I blurted
"...oh" he messed with his hair
"I don't know when I'll be back...or if I'll be back" I whispered the last part but I think he heard
"That means our sessions are over?" He scratched the back of his neck
"Temporarily yes" I pressed my lips in a tight line
"Ok...have a safe flight then" he flashed me his charming smile
"I will, thanks luke" I gave him a smile of my own
We stayed silent for a few minutes before I got up and looked at him "Goodbye" I whispered
Luke stood up from the bed and stepped towards me
I closed my eyes and felt his breath on my cheek before he kissed it and stepped away looking in my eyes "Goodbye April" I smiled still in a daze and left
Xavier better fucking appreciate that I left my crush that I've liked since I can remember to be with him and Caleb after Luke finally started noticing me
While on my way back home I zoned out remembering the last time I saw my brother, Aaron

"What the fuck did you say?!"
"I kissed...-" He cut me off
"I heard what you said idiota but perché? Come mai? cazzo April perché? sai com'è e ti ho avvertito di lui, ma hai ignorato tutto ciò che ho detto e sei rimasto coinvolto con lui" he scolded me
(Why? fuck April why? you know how he is and I warned you about him, but you ignored everything I said and still got involved with him)
But he was so...sweet
Well for one day then the next day the internet was filled with his photos with some blonde bimbo model
He took my first kiss and went out with another girl the day after
And what did he do when I confronted him? He said it was a good kiss but he doesn't fuck with virgins

"Didn't you use to like some nerdy guy at your school? WHAT THE FUCK MADE YOU KISS HIM?!" I felt guilty and decided to tell Aaron but here he is yelling at me
I didn't really think about Luke when I felt his lips on mine
It's supposed to be wrong because he's so much older but it felt right
"Fine go back to California now and don't come back here I'll come visit you when I have free time but If I find you near him ever again giuro su Dio che ti rinchiuderò in questa casa I can't have you risking your safety Mom and dad left me to take care of you and I won't have you obsessing over some stupid kiss that didn't even mean anything to him" I looked down because I knew what he was saying was the right thing but a part of me wanted to argue back but I knew better
(I swear to God I'll lock you up in this house)
Aaron doesn't even like me staying in California alone if I say another word he won't allow me to go back so I better just keep my mouth shut

"HEY WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" The old man I was about to hit with my car yelled
"Sorry" I cringed at the lame response
At least I'm not a virgin anymore hah jokes on him he could've been my everything but he just had to be an asshole
I haven't seen Aaron since that day
He just calls but...he hasn't called in about a week now
Whenever I call him it goes straight to voice mail
Maybe it's a good thing to go back to Italy after all

Caleb's pov:
I already made Olive a passport
I knew I'd take her to Italy one day
I just didn't know I'd take her this soon and without her mother
"What are you doing?" Layla came and crossed her arms over her chest leaning against the door
I was in Olive's room packing her clothes
"What does it look like I'm doing Einstein? I'm packing her bag she's coming with me" I rolled my eyes
"Oh no she's staying with me this month" What nonsense is she saying
I left what I was doing and pushed Layla outside the room to not wake Olive up
Maybe if I didn't have to leave the first time all this wouldn't have happened
But it was way too dangerous when she didn't know I was in the mafia and now that she does our problems are never ending
"Listen she's my daughter and she needs me more than you" oh really
"A daughter you never wanted" I muttered
Her jaw reached the floor and i knew a tantrum was about to start
"Do I need to remind you that an asshole that looks so much like you left me contemplating my purpose in this life?" I get it I left her but that doesn't mean she should've aborted Olive
She's a human not a doll
"She's a life layla you could've atleast told me"
She laughed humorlessly "it's my own fucking body you dick, you don't get a say you asshole not now not ever"
"She's a human being not a fucking toy, one moment you wanted to abort her and the second you can't have her out of your eye sight. What If she was actually aborted you would've moved on with your life, I'm not saying I get a say in your body because you're right it belongs to you and it was your choice to have the baby or not but now that she's here alive and healthy, you don't come here and tell me she needs you more than she needs me because I would've never wanted her dead unlike you" We're so fucking toxic and I don't want Olive to grow up with parents who can't stand eachother
Because I love the girl infront of me so much but she just has to look for the darkness in every situation it's not normal and she doesn't even want me to take my fucking child with me after we agreed that she'll stay a month here and come with me a month
She wants me next month to come back and take her when I could just take her right now?
Delusional
"I wasn't thinking why can't you get that in your thick skull? I. Never. Wanted. Olive. Dead." She hit my chest while stressing on every word "I just didn't want a part of you inside me" she whispered as she leaned her head against my shoulder
See that's what I'm talking about
One minute she's yelling at me and the next she's leaning on my shoulder
"Listen I get it Layla I really do and okay the past is in the past but Olive is coming to Italy with me"
"You're in the Italian mafia you want to take her where she could possibly get killed because someone wanted revenge?!" She glared at me
"She'll stay with my mother no one dares to harm Richard Hearsts' family"
"Why can't she just stay here? You can come visit her anytime" her big brown eyes looked in my blue ones
"You want me to fly 13 hours every time I want to see my daughter? it's my month you can come visit but this month she's staying with me" I sighed and went back to Olive's room
Why did Layla and I have to be so complicated?
Couldn't she just act a little bit positive and happy when with me?
I get it I hurt her but atleast now she knows it was to protect her
I even forgave her for almost aborting Olive and she still can't get over me leaving her?
We could've been really good together and not apart but I'm assuming she knew what she was doing when she said we should break up
If it makes her move on and stop holding a grudge against me I'll step on my hurting heart and stay silent but she's so confusing and frustrating
I just hope you start living in the moment Layla
I shook my head and continued packing Olive's bag
Atleast I'll have an innocent non problematic part of her with me

An early update because today is a very special day
Today one year ago I started writing this book and no matter how much I thank you for the support you gave me, it won't be enough
wow I thought it has been like 5 months since I started writing this but not 12 whole months
Thank you for anyone who enjoys reading this book because it makes me happy you guys actually like reading what i write
And as always I hope you enjoyed this chapter even though it wasn't about any of my personal favorite Characters but we needed alittle chapter about our side Characters
