Hey everyone. With the Owl house ending today and saying goodbye to all the characters we've loved and this world we've enjoyed I thought it was time to finally make the final decision I should've made a long time ago.
With university taking up most of my time I have struggled to find time to write. And in truth writing these characters that aren't mine has been harder and harder. I always felt my version of Luz was out of character and it felt harder and harder to write the others consistently especially as the gap between writing them grew longer and longer.
I've tried multiple times to get back into writing this series but every time it's felt harder and more tiresome. I stayed in denial for a long time, saying to myself I would finish this story one day but with the actual show ending I realise now it's time to accept I likely never will.
It's been a wonderful ride, but this is my stop. I do wish I could've given this story it's proper ending but all I can do is thank all of you who read and loved this fic and it's predecessor. I wish you all the best, it's been an honour.
