I sat there in the clubhouse and it was quiet as hell. till Ez walked in and came over to me.
"its over. things are working out and you need to go" he says
I raked my teeth over my lip as I nodded my head and stood up.
"no its not" I tell him as I stand before him
"it is. this between us wasn't working" he says before he went to leave.
"you're fucking scared Ezekiel." I say
He stopped and looked at me as had the others.
"of what?" he asked
"something real. something you've never had with any one else." I tell him
"I'm not scared of anything real" he says
"then why you breaking up with me?" I asked
"its not working out." he says
"bullshit" I replied
he slight smiles and nodded his head.
"you're fucking scared that now you have someone who gives a fuckign shit about you for once thats not blood. and someone who loves you will some how wind up like your past two relationships." I say
he stopped smiling.
"your fucking scared that what you and I have will wind up flunking like your highschool shit with Emily and your little romance with Gabby." I continued
He shook his head
"don't fucking stand there and lie to me Ezekiel I know you and I know this whole fucking shit all to well. I've done it and I fucking thought of doing it to you. but I stopped myself for fucking you over" I tell him
He looks at me and I walk up to him and point at him.
" cause you know something. I fucking care about you and you are worth so fucking much to me. I've never turned my back on you knowing that there isn't a fucking day you don't leave out our door that it could be your last. there isn't a fucking day I don't fucking pray and hope that the love of my fucking life comes back home to me. the father of my unborn child comes back home so he can fucking experience what its like to have a family thats different from the one he was born into and patched into." I say
he still said nothing.
"and you want to throw it all away over fucking fear. well, I'm not gonna fucking let you fucking break up with me. I will fight for you and with you just to keep you. you will not fucking lose me Ezekiel and you won't lose us. we are a damn family now and we will always be. & it's like you told Angel. let go of the past before it kills you if not ruin you" I tell him
"you're right I'm fucking scared" he finally admitted,
"why not come and talk with me so we can work it out and you not bring this shit up in front of your brothers?" I asked
"I'm sorry it should have been handled in a private manner," he says
"let your past go before it tears you apart. you've learned all you needed to from their time now it's ours and we are handling it our way." I tell him
He nodded his head before wrapping his arms around me once I dropped my hand.
"I'm so fucking sorry" he says as he kisses me and holds me close.
"you do this again and I'll kick your ass" I tell him
He smiled and nodded.
"I wont" he says
"good. I love you and so does our baby" I tell him
"I love you and them too" he says as I carefully rubs my stomach before kissing me again.
