I sigh as I walk down hallways next to the auditorium as I try to let out some nerves, I asked Ms.Darbus to let me have a second before the show starts and thankfully she understood given that it's my first lead role and the week I've had
"You can do this...you can do this" I whisper to myself, as I walk further down and before I turn the corner I hear voices coming from the other side but I ignore them till I look up to see Sharpay and Gabriella leaning in at the same time
"What the-" I say causing them to pull away and look at me mortified, I look I'm between them confused and a little hurt
"Toni...." Gabriella says as she comes towards me
"Toni please let us explain" Sharpay says and I go to say something but I'm cut off by Ms.Darbus who comes out into the hallway
"It's showtime everyone" She says excitedly, I clench my jaw and look at Sharpay and Gabriella who look at me with a guilty look on their faces but I can't really be too mad at them
Present time
I walk the opposite direction as Sharpay and Gabriella as they chase after, they catch up and both grab one of my hands before looking at me with a pleading look
"Toni please let us explain....after the show please"Gabriella, I look at her before looking to Sharpay who has the same pleading look on her face
"Fine.....after the show" I say before detaching from them and walking to my fitting room, I close the door and run my hands through my hair as I sit in my chair and look in the mirror
"You got this Toni....forget everything including what you just saw...just go out there and wow them" I say to myself, I quickly do my hair before getting g changed into my costume
A/n if I were to have a face claim for this character then maybe this guy would be it lol but this is the costume^^^
I walk out to the hallway and see Ms.Darbus standing there, I walk next to her as I see that I'm about to be on stage
"You have this sweetheart....just go and make everyone proud" Ms.Darbus says and I smile at her before looking on stage
"I've got this" I say before going out on stage, I do my parts and I look to the audience and see my parents smiling at me causing me to feel less anxious
I start to feel more confident and as we finish out the first two scenes of act one, I exit stage left and watch as Gabriella enters and I smile as she looks breathe taking in her costume
I watch her do the scene seamlessly and smile on my face doesn't leave
"She's gorgeous isn't she" Sharpay says as she comes up next to me, I look over and see Sharpay looking just as breathtaking and my smile transfers to her
"You look gorgeous as well" I say and Sharpay blushes and looks towards me
"And you look very....handsome in your costume Toni" She says
I nod and look down as a blush comes up on my face, I look to the stage and see Gabriella look towards us and she winks at us causing my face to get redder
"Seems like we all like how we look" I say, I hear Sharpay sigh and I feel her grab my arm causing me to look back at her
"Toni......Gabriella and I like each other, a lot but we both like you too...but we're scared that you don't like us both and all of us getting together isn't something you want" She says nervously and I feel my heart swell
"You know your cute when your nervous" I say and Sharpay rolls her eyes but a smile creeps up on her face
"Thank you but answer the question...would you date both of us" Sharpay says and I smile
"I would.....I'm sorry for my reaction earlier I just was shocked and I thought you left me out" I say and Sharpay hugs me tightly and I hug her back, she pulls back a bit and kisses me passionately
I kiss her back and I feel a feeling of relief wash over me, we look to Gabriella and I wink at her causing her to smile and almost break character
"We all still have to talk but....I think this can work" I say and Sharpay nods, we hear clapping causing us to look and see the scene ended which means it's my turn to go back on stage
"That's my que....we'll talk later baby" I say and Sharpay smiles and pulls me into a short kiss before I go back on stage
We get through the next scene and finally I get to do a scene with Gabriella, she walks on stage as the scene plays out and finally we interact
"Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,
Which mannerly devotion shows in this;
For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss" Gabriella says and I feel Gabriella palm my hand and I feel butterflies in my stomach, these girls make me so giddy I love it
"Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?" I say and I see Gabriella smile a bit at how I said that but go back into character
We continue the scene and I feel our chemistry going off the charts, when we get to the kiss I smile and kiss Gabriella and feel butterflies fill my stomach again
I resist the urge to deepen the kiss since were in stage and we pull away and I smile a it and see Gabriella smiling too
Our scene ends soon after that and as we walk off stage I see Troy in costume looking at me furiously
"Why did you kiss her like that" He says and I roll my eyes
"For the play dumbass....now calm down we have an audience out there and they don't need to hear you complaining" I say, Troy just glares at me and walks away toward the back of the stage
No One's POV
Gabriella smiles as she holds hands with Sharpay and cuddles into her when suddenly their moment is ruined by and angry Troy coming towards them
"Gabriella, what the hell was that on stage and what are you doing with Sharpay" Troy says as he looks between the two girls
"Troy leave me alone, I'm with Sharpay and Toni now" Gabriella says and Troy's face falls immediately
"What! You left me for those two..what about what we had" Troy yells causing Gabriella to detach from Sharpay but Sharpay keeps her hand on Gabriella's waist
"We broke up for many reasons, one was you trying to injury your own sister in that game then the other is you cheating on me with Sharpay" Gabriella says and Troy's face goes red
"That's not true...she's lying" He says but Sharpay shakes her head
"You did and everyone caught on...look leave my girlfriends alone" Sharpay says and Troy walks away feeling very embarrassed and rejected
"Thank you baby" Gabriella says as she turns back to Sharpay, Sharpay smiles and pulls Gabriella close and kisses her forehead
"I'll always defend you and Toni" She says and Gabriella smiles and snuggles into her girlfriend as she feels happy once again
Toni's POV
I smile as the play finish and we all walk to the stage for our standing ovation, I hold hands with both of my girls before bowing to the audience that are clapping at us happily
I look over to see Ms.Darbus talking to a person in the audience and I see them go over to my parents, I frown my eyebrows in confusion as they talk a bit
I decide to mention it to them later and I look over to see both my soon to be girlfriends smiling at me, I pull them both into me for a group hug and kiss their foreheads
I got everything I wanted tonight...and it feel so damn good
A/n lol yaaaayy their finally together, now after this we will transition into HSM2 then 3 so be prepared for that and yea lol
