Toni's POV
I walk in with everyone complaining and ranting at Kelsi while I just walk in normally, I look over to see Ryan and Sharpay by the piano with Ryan doing some weird stretching
"Dude...I have some questions to ask you" I say as I stand behind him, he looks back at me slowly with his hands in a fighting stance
"What are those questions" He asks nervously as he stands up straight, well...never mind
"Are you and Troy...like a thing now" I ask and Ryan's face goes bright red causing my eyes to widen and I point at him
"You...you sly little twink" I say and Ryan rolls his eyes
"Nothing is confirmed yet so don't tell my sister and sister in law....I'll explain later" He says in a low voice as everyone, who are still complaining in Kelsi ear, walk over to the piano
"Kelsi I think you should have talked to us first before signing us up for a musical in the busiest time for all of us" I say and she huffs
"Ok ok..I'm sorry I just thought since it's the last one we'd ever do together...we'd do it together..thought that's what you guys would want to do" She explains and I sigh
"That's really wholesome but....still" I say as everyone starts complaining all at once yet again but Gabriella stops everyone
"Hey...guys Kelsi's right, we should do this...this is our last chance to do something together before we all go to colleges far..away...and while you all love interrupting my time with my girls....we can fit this musical in" Gabriella explains as I smile a bit
"I guess I can make time out of my schedule...I'm in...and you all better be in because you owe me and my girls for the summer" I say and the guys groans but agree and start asking questions
"What the heck is the show about" Chad asks begrudgingly, he may act like he doesn't like theater but he loves it, caught him watching grease on broadway in his room one time
"You, Mr Danforth" MrsDarbus says causing us to look at her
"Me?" Chad says confused, Mrs Darbus calls for the basketball and Chad passes it to her, I wanna see her shoot hoops one day
"The spring musical is all about you" She emphasized before bucking at him causing me to laugh with Gabriella and Sharpay trying to shut me up
"Hold up, if it's about me then...can I have my ball back please" Chad asks and Mrs.Darbus tosses it back to him
"It's about all of you...and all of you will create it, a show about your final days at East high...we'll call it..Senior year" Mrs.Darbus says and I smile
"This actually could be kinda fun...I call doing props" I say as Troy looks at me
"No I wanna do props, do the costume designs" He says and I shake my head
"No...Ryan can do that, I'm doing props" I say as we start arguing to Mrs.Darbus shuts us up with a look
"Playing a role is easy but being yourself...now that's a challenge" Mrs.Darbu says as Troy holds his hand up and asks a question but she high fives him instead
I chuckle at this causing him to shove me but I shove him back before putting him in a headlock and listening to Mrs.Darbus
"Kelsie will compose, Ryan will choreograph with Toni helping and I will direct...now...I have very important news so Boltons please stop rough housing" Mrs Darbus says and I nod besides letting Troy go and we stand up straight
"And my news comes from....the Juilliard school in New York City" Mrs Darbus says and I smile and look to Sharpay, she's smiling ear to ear while grabbing my arm pulling it into her embrace
"America's preeminent college for the performing arts and for the first time in East high history...Juilliard is considering four of you for two scholarships...Miss Sharpay Evans" Mrs Darbus says and I smile and clap for girlfriend with Gabriella doing the same
"Mr. Ryan Evans" Mrs.Darbus says as she hands Ryan his booklet, Ryan smiles and I clap for him too with Troy looking at him proudly
"Miss Kelsi Nielsen" Mrs.Darbus continues causing me to cheer a bit
"And last not certainly not least...Miss Antoinnette Bolton" Mrs.Darbus says as she hands me the booklet
My heart falls to my ass as I take it while look at her in shock and my girls and the guys cheering for me
"I...wow uh...they considered me..thought I'd never get into a school like this" I say to myself
"Well you've certainly earned it Toni...be proud and happy...Julian's will be sending representatives to observe our show" Mrs.Darbus says and I smile but my heart sinks a bit more as I think of my college options yet again
I still have college visits to go in and I haven't even started thinking of my options...now I have another amazing option that would be insane to deny
I look up to see Chad and Troy looking at me proudly but I can see their faces aren't as conflicted as mine
But I know them better than that, they're definitely gonna ask me about this later
A/n oop well Toni is in a situation that I'd would being going insane with, but yes I changed it because Troy getting it was not that confusing but was at the same time, still have never watched this movie in full now what do y'all think is finna happen
