Lexi's POV
He pressed his lips against mine and his hands were gently resting on my waist as my arms were snaked around his neck. After a while, I pulled away and we rested our foreheads together.
Luke just stared into my eyes with a giant smile plastered onto his face.
I couldn't help but smile myself. But I soon broke away from my thought.
"I better go" I said backing away from him.
"Are you ok?" He asked me.
"Yeah I'm fine, bye." I said and he just signed as I walk out of the door.
Honestly, I didn't want to go home, but I needed to think. I can't fall in love. It just can't happen.
I rushed down the streets as I could feel Luke's eyes on my back. I just kept walking...
I reached my house, and my dad's car was in the driveway. Great.
I walk over to the side of my house. I climbed up the tall tree that lead up to my window. I jumped into my window and landed gently on the floor.
I set my bag down and flopped on my bed.
I just laid there ,staring up at my white ceiling. I need to think.
If I kiss him, and that leads to a relationship, then I wouldn't know what to do. I don't need a broken heart. I don't need to end up like my parents. I swore to never end up like them.
It's all just happening too fast for me. Luke, I like him a lot. But this just can't happen right now.
I wouldn't know how to turn him down. I walked downstairs, not really caring about my dad seeing me. I gapped at the living room. There was glass and paper all of there floor. This is almost as messy as the night mom left. He trashed the house and left. He went to a club and left me to clean it up.
"LEXI!" I heard the voice I had been dreading for days.
"WHERE WERE YOU!" He screamed as he reached the living room, coming over to my and grabbing the collar of my shirt.
"Uh, I was um.." I said and before I could answer my face was burning from where his fist made contact with my skin.
"DON'T LIE!" He screamed.
"A-at a f-friends" I managed to say.
"SURE! You are just like your mother!! You are going around sleeping with everyone!" He yelled and I almost slapped him right then and there, but I refrained. If I slapped him I would be in the hospital even longer than last time.
I managed to wiggle out if his grip and run back to my room.
I looked in my mirror to see a huge black and blue mark on my face. Great. Just great.
I just rolled my eyes and hopped in my bed, thinking about Luke as I drifted to sleep.
