Y/N: Hey i didn't have to help you so much
Ichika: Yeah, i watched some videos on how to take apart a GT-86 Front Bumper on U-Tube last night...
Y/N: That's good! keep that up because it'll help you understand your ride more

The shop music gets paused and Y/N then picks up the phone

DK(y/n's Dad): So you challenged a rich girl to a downhill battle huh?

DK(y/n's Dad): I know basically everything... nah i'm kicking, i heard it around town whats happening and a lot of people are going to see this race of yours

DK(y/n's Dad): Hey, i might come out to see the race and give you some moral support hehe, anyways i got a call from your buddies and they said there coming to the race as well to see you
Y/N: Nice! its been awhile since I've seen them

DK(y/n's Dad): What? You want info on the car that the British girl is driving?
Y/N: That too but i'm teaching someone how to drift that i meet here

Ichika's jaw drops and Y/N looks very puzzled

DK(y/n's dad): I guessed hahaha, but that's good you'll have a wing man around you instead of being a lone driver

DK(y/n's Dad): Heyyy Mr. Orimura hows ur drifting going?
Ichika: Well... we haven't start just yet, were actually rebuilding a car that'll be my personal ride!
DK(y/n's Dad): What car is it if you don't mid me asking?
Ichika: Its called a GT-86!
DK(y/n's Dad): Nice! Y'know what, i got a name for you two, The 86 Brothers hahahaha thats a great name! anyways i gotta go now but the only info i got for you on her car is that she's racing some sort of modified Aston Martin thats all so be ready friday! ill see you two later!

Y/N POV
Me: Anddddd done!
Ichika: Wow, Thanks for helping me put the bumper back on Y/N! It was being such a pain with those plastic clips
Me: Anytime man, i also get angry at those damn cheep feeling clips that somehow actually keep the bumper in place
Ichika: Alright! Its time for me to learn how to drift!
Me: Hold your horses for a few, i got one more thing...
I walk over to one of my tool boxes thats bolted to the wall underneath my balcony/room and pull out number vinyl
Me: Now this is the finishing touches
I walk back to ichika's car and start to put the decals on each door
*squirt* *squirt*
I use a cleaning product to clean the doors of the GT-86 and started to plaster the stickers
Me: Alright, that now done so lets take a step back and actually see this puppy
I step back a few feet with Ichika andddddddd....
Ichika: Bro...
Me: What?
Ichika: This car... Look absolutely sick!!!!!!
Me: I knew damn well you'll like the 86 decals on it
Ichika: Not just like... but I absolutely love them!!
Me: Thats good to hear man!
Ichika: Alright can we now go teach me how to drift?
Me: Fine Fine lets go then...

2 Hours Later...
Tuesday / 9:00 PM
Me: alright you did well to get here now its time to actually take it up a notch
Ichika: OK!
Me: So before you start going crazy i got a tip for you, whenever the car start to over steer don't be afraid, the car's rear end is supposed to come out from under you
Ichika: You got it PJ

3rd POV
Ichika starts to set up the corner to start his first ever drift of his life and...
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
A ton of smoke built up...
Ichika has nearly collided with the barrier and has spun out his 86
Ichika: Damn'it it was going so well!!!
Y/N: Well legends never drift on there first try so don't be too harsh on yourself
Ichika: Can we do it again?
Y/N: Sure! just don't damage the car to much
Another hour passes after that and Ichika starts to get better and better to a point that now he can naturally drift at easy corners but he still has a very long way to the top
Y/N: That should do it today! while we were out here i was doing some data logs on your car to see if it needed a tune up and it sure does!
Ichika: You think you can fix it?
Y/N: PFFFFFFT, i can fix anything don't you worry, you gotta worry about learning how to drift by yourself and learn your own technique
Ichika: Alright Bandog
Y/N: How in the fu- Never mind... lets just get back home, its already 10 o'clock
Ichika and Y/N then drives off, back to the academy
Tuesday / 11:00 PM / Back in Y/N's garage
Y/N: Hey Ichika before you leave i gotta ask you a few things
Ichika: What is it bro?
Y/N: For that fight on Thursday, we gotta somehow work together because i know were going into that without any idea what we're getting into...
Ichika: Your right about that...
Y/N: So do you have any game plan for that?
Ichika: Not really but I believe we can think of something before the actual fight
Y/N: Yeah please do because we don't want to go into that arena with absolutely no plan on taking down Cecilia
Ichika: But what happens if we do take her down? we're still are going to have to fight each other...
Y/N: If that happens, ill give you the win. I don't want to deal with being a class representative, i came here to keep my car and to continue drifting togues not to fight others
Ichika: Fair point...
Y/N: But at least we know what we're going to do now if we find a way to defeat her

Y/N: Anyway i just wanted to know that but you should get going now because it's almost midnight

Y/N's POV
Me: Ughhhhhhh what time is it...
I check the clock to see it's already 7:00 am
Me: Damnit its already 7:05
I quickly rush outta bed and went to my wardrobe which holds my brand new uniform
The Uniform is almost a copy of ichika's one but only 1 thing is different
There's a patch on the right sleeve near the shoulder that has the number 86 in a weird but very cool font
(The patch can either be white or black, whatever floats your boat)
Me: Woah now this is cool, i wonder who asked to put this patch on
I stopped admiring the uniform and jumped into the shower
15 minutes later...
I look back at the clock
7:25 AM
Me: alrighty then, its time to go to breakfast then quickly to class
The day goes as normal as any other day would go, Ichika wouldn't get whatever what was happening in class and either get beat up by Houki or his sister Chifuyu, poor guy...

Me: Finally this boring day is finally over, I wonder what ichika is doing after this...
I lean over to ichika's desk
Me: Hey man!

Me: You doing anything or you going back to your room?
Ichika: Nah, Houki is training me about the I.S.
Me: That's cool, we're gonna need all the help we can get hahaha

Me: Nah I gotta go tune up your 86 and get ready for that race on Friday but tomorrow definitely

Me: Hey Aeron!
Aeron is a really good friend that i meet a few years ago at a car meet, he really really likes food... like he replaced his car radio with a toaster which is impressive to put in a 2009 Honda Odyssey
Aeron: Hey Y/N, long time no talk!
Me: Yeah man how you been?
Aeron: Not to bad bro, the group has surprisingly held together so far
Me: that's good
Aeron: Anyways how you been? I heard your going up against a rich girl
Me: Yeah, i challenged her and she accepted without knowing what it was even about...
Aeron: Hahahaha, you know that Koro is going to hate her when he sees the rich brit
Me: Yeah i know, I'm scared what he's going to try to do when you guys come and watch
Aeron: Yeah, I'll probably pick up the short guy so he can't beat her up or something

Me: 1 more dyno run and this puppy should be perfect

Me: Alright! She's running perfectly now for the finishing touches
I start to tweak some suspension parts like the toe and camber to make the car stick better to the ground
Me: Andddddd done! All I gotta do is now take her out on a spin and do a data log
I open the car door of ichika's GT-86 and set my laptop on the passenger seat and got in
Me: Alright GT-86... lets see what you can do.
Wednesday / 6:00 PM / Akina Pass

Me: Wow this car is really damn fun!
I started to drift Ichika's 86 around like it was my car and i can feel the car grip to the asphalt like bread and butter

From the distance i see a car, Not any car...
An Aston Martin
Me: I know this isn't my car but... Let's go GT-86, you got a hella fun life ahead of you!
I drop the car into 3rd gear and the Aston Martin starts to flash it's high beams at me, telling me it wants to race

Both me and the Aston Martin are nose to tail, like not even a piece of paper can fit between me and the Aston
You can tell that the Aston is very fast on the straights but once we get to the corners the driver starts to struggle
As if the driver is brand new to street racing...

???: Alright red car! feel the wrath of my British car know as the Aston Martin GT8!!!
I try to take a run onto his outside where he left a gap open
He seems so slow on these straights! This is going to be a cake walk for my GT8!
But then...
???: WHATTT!!!!! HOW IS HE DOING THAT!?!?!!
That red car has a ton of speed heading into that corner like he's not going to stop in time
???: HES GOING TO CRASH!!!!
Then...
Smoke...
But...
???: HOW IS HE DOING THAT!?!?!
The res car started to turn a weird way almost like it was cheating gravity
???: IMPOSSIBLE?!?!?
The red car starts to pull away from me quicker and quicker to a point that i am unable to see it
???: I-I lost... I thought i had the best car! No mater, ill just have to try harder on Friday!
Y/N POV
Me: When i started to drift into one of the corners the Aston Martin looked like it stalled out, almost like it knew it lost before we even took a corner
But I continued to lay dust for the Aston Martin

Every corner i take
I can feel myself connecting with the car
Almost as if it's telling me what it wants and i just deliver

We finally got to the bottom of the pass
Me: Damn this car is good and that Aston Martin didn't even stand a chance to this, but anyways time to head home
45 Minutes later...
I finally reach back home and parked ichika's GT-86 next to my 86, covered it, and went upstairs to change
Me: Today was a boring but very productive day
I changed outta my academy outfit, put shorts and a tang top on and laid onto my bed
I finally started to close my eyes to enter in a deep sleep
