Yes, I know Kenma's a second-year, but for the sake of this book, he's in the same class
as Y/n and Kuroo.
This is a third-year to college au.
Characters will most likely be very OOC.

The little ten-year old girl dug through her backpack, looking for a pencil. Class would be starting in another minute. Her teacher already looked to be in a bad mood, so she didn't want to add fire to the fuel by telling her she didn't have anything to write with.
The young girl didn't have any friends in her class, she was a pretty shy kid after all. It would be weird to go asking around.
"Everyone take out your notebooks and pencils. We're about to begin the quiz", says the teacher.
The boy seated at the desk next to the girl looks over to her and notices her disgruntled expression. He taps on her shoulder and she faces him.
"I have an extra you can use", says the kid with short, black-hair. He reaches into his pencil-case and pulls out a pencil to hand to the girl.
The point was dull and almost looked like it was going to break off, but the little girl appreciated the effort and flashed a toothy smile at the pudding-haired boy.
"Thank you", she said enthusiastically, making sure not to be too loud to gain her teacher's attention.
It wasn't much, just a small act of kindness, maybe just basic human decency, but that single gesture made the young girl's heart flutter.
"Oh. By the way, what's your name?", she asks him.
He looked at her for a brief moment before he spoke again. "Kozume... Kenma."
"It's nice to meet you Kenma. I'm L/n Y/n."
