"CHAPTER THIRTEEN"
"The Mall"
IT HAS BEEN A FEW DAYS AND THE MARAUDERS ARE ENJOYING THEMSELVES. Vanya's neighbours couldn't survive James, Sirus and Remus's prank. They are 17 so they are allowed to do magic outside school and let's just say they are using it pretty well.
Today Mr Greene told her daughter to take them to the mall. Now expect Lily none of them saw/know what a 'mall' is.
"What even is that?" James asked from the couch
"You can find everything in the mall," said Vanya who was a bit confused cause she didn't know what to explain to them. (She is not in Ravenclaw for a reason)
"Everything?" James repeated "a full-grown black dog?" Sirius asked "not that," said Vanya
"We have you Sirius and that's enough," Marlene said. She was lying on the bed, holding a picture book "I will take it as a compliment" Sirius chuckled
"Get ready, all of you! We are going to be late" Lily shouted as she entered the room. She gasped "You all are still in your PJs? Get dressed now otherwise, I'll tell Mr Greene to leave anyone who is late" her face was bright like her hair. Then she walked out.
"How did she choose you?" Vanya asked James and everyone chucked "believe me it was my luck Ane" James winked
Vanya looked at James for a moment and blinked "what did you just call me?" James smirked "Ane" he whispered back "Don't call me that"
"And why's that?" He asked as he ran his hands through his hair "because Itan calls me that and I don't like it. And..." she stopped herself and looked at the floor "it reminds me of something. From my childhood but I don't know what"
Before James could say anything else, he was interrupted "If we are talking about choosing what about you?" Sirius asked, "what do you mean?" Vanya blinked "oh c'mon Vanya don't play dumb. We know you fancy Harry"
"We are friends," Vanya lied "really!" Marlene raised her eyebrow "yes! Harry said it himself" she said in a low voice "what about you? What do you want?" Asked James "well...I ---" she stopped
Everyone kept staring at her so she gave up. She felt safe telling them "alright fine I fancy Harry" She confesses and everyone shouted ---
"YES!"
"I KNEW IT"
"TOLD YOU"
"But I was telling the truth when I said 'he only sees me as his best friend'" Vanya complained
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?" James shouted, "no I am Sirius, Prongs!" Sirius said from the other side of the room
"He said it himself" Vanya answered completely ignoring Sirius's comment
"He's a Nutter," said Marlene "Haven't you seen the way he looks at you? Comforts you? Get jealous whenever you mention Malfoy or even talk to another boy?"
"Yes but --"
"No 'buts'!!" James said in a loud voice "Harry don't have the courage to ask you out but trust us, Vanya, he likes you too" Remus told her softly
"You sure?"
"YES!"
Then they heard Lily's voice "I'm READY? ARE YOU GUYS DONE?"
"Oh shit"
"Alright bye Vanya"
"Damn"
"She will kill me"

"I can't believe you made me and Mr Greene wait for 20 mins," Lily said angrily. They all were sitting in a car.
"It's alright Lily I don't mind," Mr Genne said who was driving the car
"Don't look at me they all were late too" James pointed at Sirius, Remus, Vanya and Marlene
"We were not!" All of them shouted at the same time
"Hey!"
Soon they reached the mall and Mr Greene dropped them and drive away. All of them walked inside and Lily looked shocked to see all the differences. Sure it was more developed than it was in 1977. The Marauders pointed at random things and they all went together. They went inside the jewellery shop and Sirius brought many rings to match his emo look. Lily, Marlene and Vanya got themselves clothes like dresses, crop tops, jeans, pants etc. Marlene and Lily liked the new fashion but they think the 70s were better. (80s were the best) James got himself a few pairs of shoes and Remus got a suit which looked perfect on him and a brown suitcase. Vanya looked at the suitcase and she felt like she has seen this before like a memory was attracted to it.
After shopping and exploring they decided to eat ice cream. All of them were standing beside the counter
"Which one do you guys want?" Marlene asked and they started saying at the same time. "Hey! Hey! Hey! One by one"
"Chocolate"
"Mint chocolate chip"
"Bubblegum"
"Strawberry"
"Chocolate for me as well"
"Alright so I will get Chocolate too"
When they got their ice cream they attacked it. All of them were still standing near the counter.
"Daddy I want ice cream" Vanya heard a voice. The voice she hated the most. She turns around and looked at the owner of the voice Dudley Dursley behind him his parents Vernon and Petunia Dursley. Vanya stopped where she was. She looked behind them to see her best friend Harry Potter but he was not there. Must be locked up.
When the Dursleys came near the counter they saw Vanya and Dudley gasped. He feared her. Vanya always threatens them at the station and whenever she comes to get Harry, she always messes with Dudley. The Dursleys hated her.
"What's wrong Diddykins?" Petunia asked worriedly then she looked at Vanya and gasped too "What are you doing here?" She her
"Why did you own this place?" Vanya asked with a straight face then looked at Dudley "Hey big D, how's Harry?" she asked and at this point, The Marauders turn to look at what was happening
"H--he--is alright -- stays in his room --most of --the---the time," said Dudley. The marauders were not sure why the boy was so nervous.
Lily looked at Petunia and their eyes locked. Petunia gasped again and her eyes filled with tears "you--you--can be" she whispered pointing at Lily
Then it hit in Vanya's head. They are sisters. 'This can't be happening Dumbeldore told us 'no one finds out'
"You know her?" James asked Lily who shook her head her eyes still connected with her sister. Petunia looked at James then back at Lily "lily?" She mumbled
"That's me" Lily smiled 'why I feel like I know her' she thought
"No! This can't be" Petunia looked at Vernon, he looked like he had seen a ghost (well in their mind yes hehe) "you can't be -- Vernon-- she can't be"
Vanya looked between the three "She is my friend she goes to the same school and she is 17" Vanya said quickly than she looked at Remus for help who understand what she meant "she is my sister! Do you know her Mrs?"
Petunia stared at her for a few sec than looked away "no" then she grab Dudley's hand "c'mon Diddykins I--I will -- buy you a new-- video game" Petunia said emotionally and they started leaving "SAY HI TO HARRY"
"Who and what was that and HARRY AS IN HARRY POTTER?" Sirius asked
"Petunia Evens," Vanya said looking at Lily who looked shocked
"WHAT!"
"I know, I know but remember what dumbledore said 'don't let anyone know, it could be dangerous. Till the right time comes"
There was a silence "you are right" said Lily
This was the first time in Vanya's whole life, she felt bad for Petunia. She just saw her dead sister.
"Till the right time comes"

Rachel Greene just appeared in her house. She grab an apple in her right hand and her wand which was already in her left. She went straight up to her daughter's room. Vanya was sleeping peacefully. Her mother smiled and kissed her forehead.
After two hours Vanya Mckinnon Greene woke up and went done. Still rubbing her eyes, with a sleepy face
"No Sirius I will not tell you" she heard a voice "MOM?" Vanya shouted as ran inside the kitchen. Her mother was sitting on the chair and Sirius black was on the other eating breakfast.
She hugged her "when did you arrive?" She asked "nearly two hours"
"Good morning Sirius" "Morning"
"What you guys were talking about?" Vanya asked "School days," Rachel said "oh yea Sirius told me that you guys were friends," Vanya told her mother and Sirius choked on his food "did he?" Rachel raised her eyebrow and looked at Sirus "we were more than that" said Sirius smirking
"More?" Vanya gasped "No! Don't tell me you both--"
"Snogged? Yeah, we did" Sirius winked. Rachel looked embarrassed "don't tell her all that" She snapped
"How did you guys break up?" Vanya whispered so only Sirus could hear "we were never together" he wink at her and Vanya made a disgusting face "so you both -- just-- ew!"
"Well I had her permission and I took her--"
"I don't want to hear that"

Someone came out of the fireplace. Mr Greene helped the person out "you alright?" He asked "thank you Mr Greene" Hermione nodded
"VANYA! HERMIONE'S HERE" Mr Greene shouted and Vanya came done running. She fell from three stairs "ouch, ouch, ouch" then bumped into the wall "ouch"
She saw Hermione and pulled her in a big hug "I missed you" said Vanya "it's been two weeks" Hermione laughed "still"
"Did Ron and Harry came yet?" Hermione asked looking around "no they didn't. Actually, I'm going to the burrow then I, Ginny and Ron will pick up Harry" Hermione nodded
"When are you leaving?" She asked "at 11" Hermione shook the blonde girl "It's 10:58" Vanya's eyes widened "crap" she turn around and bumped into James "sorry" she ran upstairs
"What happened to her?" James asked "whenever she is excited she bumps into something" but James didn't beloved him.
BANG!
Both of them looked back and saw Vanya on the floor and the table which was near the staircase was on top of her.
"VANYA! DID YOU FALL AGAIN?" Rachel shouted
"NO MOM! JUST A EARTHQUAKE" Vanya shouted back
James and Hermione helped the poor girl "told you" Hermione whispered and James nodded
"Chill out" James told her "sorry. It's just -- I'm getting late and OMGGG I'M GETTING LATE!!" She ran towards the fireplace
"That's okay Vanya. You're going to Ron's house not to attend a meeting" Hermione told her
Vanya grab the floor power in her hand "MOM, DAD I'M LEAVING" she steps inside "THE BURROW"
