NIKKI GRACE-LIM SIDE STORY
Oh my gee. I convinced that I might go back to Sophie's world kagaya ko na pinanood ko sa TV. Oh well, natunghayan ko na lumayas na talaga si Sophie from the mansion house of her former guardian of Santiago Family-who were responsible to sold Sophie's mansion house and rob her finances that her dad had been gifted to her-to the house of the Luna Family. Hmm, ano kayang ipapanaginip ko if I'll go to sleep mamaya, gano'n pa rin kaya tulad ng dati o iba naman kayang dream place and situation there?
But before I went to enter my bedroom, nagpahangin muna ako sa labas ng secondary mansion house namin that my dad Ricardo Lim a.k.a. Ser Chief had made. Si kuya Jomar naman as Ser Chief's car driver, nagpahangin din.
"'Oy, ma'am Nikki," kuya Jomar said to me while I stand straight with my arms crossed, "anong iniisip mo d'yan?"
Yup, as in malalim pala ang iniisip ko, nakatingala pa ako sa langit!
"Mmm, ang iniisip ko," I said to him, "kung kaya nga akong mag-succeed ang ambisyon ng daddy namin on his aviation service business."
"Eh anong posisyon mo kung nakatapos ka ng college mo?" he asked.
"Mmm, I thought na maaaring maging secretary ako or whatever," I answered, "depende na lang kung may sapat na educational experience at skills ko para maging proud for my dad."
"Talaga?" he said. "Seryoso ka ba ang gagawin mo?"
"Oo naman," I said, "but did you know na hindi lahat ng mga tao like us na kakayaning mai-handle so much bunch of good knowledge to their little memory brain due to the nature reflecting every personal manners, minsan bobo, minsan matalino, good or bad? It's up for us to pursue our given responsibilities to take."
"Ang galing mo namang mag-piloso, ma'am Niks," he said. "Saan galing 'yung ideya mo, sa pinag-aralan mo sa school o sa sarili mong diskarte nga lang?"
"Siyempre naman sa school," I answered, "malamang pinagtitiyaga ko na nga mag-aral, eh, kahit I had cut off so many pleasure outings to do to exercise my memory. Buti na lang, I thanked for myself na nakabawi ang diskarte ko kahit nakapasa na ako ng college entrance exam sa P.U.S. Eh ikaw, nag-aral ka ba noon kahit puro gimik lang?"
"Ano?!" he said. "Sobra ka naman, nag-aral naman ako, ah. O eto, ano kung baka iniisip mo na nag-aalala 'yung crush mo?"
"Ano ka ba?!" I whisperly exclaimed as I slapped on his left upper arm. "Sikreto ko lang 'yun, so don't tell to my dad na meron na nga akong boyfriend, baka pagagalitin pa niya ako."
"Si Niccolo 'yung tinutukoy mo?" he said.
"Oo nga, kuya Jom," I said, "so pwede ba huwag mo akong kulitin na baka mag G-R-R-R-R na naman 'yung feelings ko."
"Sobra ka naman, Niks," he said, "pero hanggang ngayon hindi ka pa rin mawala 'yung sarili mong mannerisms sa pag-express mo na G-R-R na gano'n-gano'n na lang."
"Siyempre," I said, "gano'n lang talaga katindi 'yung habit sa sarili kong expression sa tuwing inaasar nila ako. Eh paano na maging peaceful sa sarili ko if they may not able to respect me so much?"
"O siya," he said, "matutulog na nga ako, ikaw rin matulog ka na rin. Napupuyat na nga ako sa pagkaka-drive ko tuwing pagsapit ng gabi."

Oh well, still I refused to tell my extraordinary dream last night for kuya Jomar, nor I intend to ask for him about his experience of dreaming every night. Yes, not all of them had often believed in me about my strange experience of dreaming based from what I watched my favorite TV show about Sophie. Ang iniisip nila, gawa-gawa lang at walang katotohanan.
But what if I try to tell about this matter of mine for my little sis Abby that I had forgotten earlier? Parang hindi gaano napapansin eh, kasi relate lang siya for listening ate Maya's casual fairytale story of a princess having with an affair with mahal na hari in a peaceful kingdom a long time ago.
Back in my bedroom, before I sleep I wished to convince that I should never visit Sophie's world again as a promise. Hmmm, ano kaya ipapanaginip ko na kahit maganda lang? Oh my gee, give me good dream na maiba naman. (o^___^o)

YES! YES! YES! Oh, ang speech ko parang si Baby ng Dream Dad. :D At last, as I laid in a grassy field and my eyes slowly open to see a sunshine, I thought I'm now in a dream paradise garden. Bumangon ako at nang naipagpag ang suot kong puting damit, I walked formally, anywhere just I expect to see trees and blooming flowers with a lot of fresh air.
Then I saw the little girls playing a typical human hurdle jump, or popularly known as luksong tinik. Oh my gee, I missed that act when I was a little girl! Hmm, nilapitan ko sila para subukan ko lang.
"Excuse me," I told to them, "may I try just you were playing?"
"Opo," a little girl answered, "sali ka na rin para mapasaya ka sa buhay mo!"
'Di ba, before nauuso na ngayon ang various form of electroic games, ang traditional Philippine larong pambata ay nakaeehersisyo talaga, not only they could do physically fit but also enhance motor skills on both mind and emotions, according to studies? Ang galing ko talaga mag-inform, he he! Kaya nagtiyaga ako maglaro sa kanila as I was able to leap over their arms raised parallel, kasi matangkad ako t'wing nagdalaga. :D
Still I continue to have a good bonding for those little girls in any form of children's play, such as-say-a popular Filipino children's song about a queen bee zigzagging to enter a flower. But a few tens of minutes later, I was familiar in my sight a few meters away that I saw Sophie's parents talking on each other.
"Excuse me," I said to them, "I have to leave you now, but thanks for playing for you. Until then, bye for now! I love you so much!" At sabay kaming iniwagayway ang right hand namin while I walked away fast.
Unti-unting pinalapit ko sa kanila as I had always expected to greet them humbly and formally with my due respect. 'Yung 'di gaano nakakagulat talaga. So I stand straight formally while nakaharap na ako sa kanila.
"Ahm, good day, sir, ma'am," I humbly said to them while I tried to shake hands for them with my right hand, "were you a real Sophie's parents?"
As Sophie's parents paused their talks, Ohh, tila biglang natutulala nila sa akin. :|
"Is that you, Sophie?" Sophie's mom said.

Huh? Kamukha daw ang friend kong si Sophie kahit hindi ako naka-headband? Nakanganganga pa ako sa pagtataka ko.
"Ahm," I said to them, "with my due respect, I'm not Sophie as you were expected, but I'm Nikki-Grace Lim."
"Nikki?" Sophie's dad Paul Cepeda asked. "Bakit ka ba nandito sa amin?"
"I don't know, sir," I replied, "but I'd not expect to come up here for disturbing you. I thought it was a 'magic' that tend me to arrive this place."
"'Magic'?" Sophie's dad said. "Paano mo nalaman 'yon?"
"Maybe of course," I said, "in my strange dream that were often watching you. But in the meantime, sir, ma'am, your daughter Sophie was really fine and alive as of now na she prayed na nag-aalala na siya sa inyo. And you, too, were still worrried for your daughter from being alone. The good news is, nagsikap na po siya mag-aral at nag-trust pa rin the right bonding of her friends."
"Really?" Sophie's mom said. "Nakapasa pa ba siya?"
"Maybe yes," I answered, "pero she was often proud of herself kahit hindi pa siya nakaabot sa top ranking ng grades niya. Don't you worry, she'll be really fine to improve her studies next time, nang sa gayon you were always proud of her."
There were a lot of stories to tell my conversation to them about what happened to their daughter Sophie as my friend, as well as my conversation about me and their modest conversation about their personal experience when there were bonded with their daughter. A few minutes later, Sophie and my mother Alex who met each other toward us.
"Nikki?" Sophie said to me standing at my back. "Why are you doing here?"
