Abhi was still standing at the door, Parth saw him and went up to him in hurry.
P- Abhi tu yaha khada khada time waste karraha hai, chal teri Akshu ko teri zarurat hai.
Abhi came in his sense and went in he saw Akshu from close more tears ran down his face.
A- Abhimanyu please control I know tumhare liye tumhare pyaar pe operate karna bohathe mushkil hai per filhal tum ek doctor on duty ho. So keep your emotion on side and ek doctor ki tarha operate karo apne patient pe.
Mh- Yes Abhimanyu focus and operate like you always do without any fear and with precision and perfection.
P- Yes Abhi we trust you, you can do it. Chal aab yeh aasu poch aur leyaa apni Akshu ko maut ke muh se apne pass.
Abhi nodded and wipe his tears & prayed his Mahadev for giving him strength to operate Akshu
Ab- what's the status of the patient.
A- currently I am operating on getting the chest bullet out. Goli bohat ghehri hai I am trying to keep the bullet in place aur nikal ne ki try karraha hu. Thankfully goli clavicle ke upar hai heart se durr.
Mh- me patient ke peet me jo goli lagi hai vo operate karungi.
Ab- aap donone dono injuries operate karoge to phir meri kya help chaheyeh.
A- Abhimanyu there is a bigger complication, aur tum usse thik karneme best ho.
Ab- matlab Akshu ka heart weak hai.
Mh- ha, CT scan aur X-ray ke results aagyeh hai aur usme pata chala hai ki Akshara ko
Ab- Atrial septal defect hai
Mh- yes ASD, Atrial septal defect hai Akshara ko aur size kafi bada hai jiski vajahse blood flow lungs me zyada hai aur uska right side of heart is working to much aur uski vajah se
Ab- right side of the heart is very weak.
Mh- ha, Abhimanyu you have to operate on her now isse phele complication aur badhe aur
Ab- aur Akshu ko heart failure ho
Abhi stood frozen in place he has operated on many people with ASD but today his hands are shaking at the thought of performing ASD surgery on his Akshu. He took a deep breath to calm his inner tornado. He once again prayed his Mahadev.
Ab- Nurse prepare for open heart surgery and call anesthesiologist and ask him to put a breat....breathing tube, pt will need it for the long surgery.
Only Abhi knew how hard it was for him to say open heart surgery.
Nur- Sir koi bhi anesthesiologist available nahi hai. Jo thee vo ek aur surgery me busy hai.
Ab- Aab kya karu
He looked at Parth with hope filled eyes.
Ab- Parth bhai kya aap
P- Nahi Abhi me kaise mene ded saal se mene practice nahi ki hai.
Ab- Parth bhai aaphe meri umeed ho.
P- per Abhi agar kuch galat ho, nahi Abhi mujse nahi hoga.
Parth looked at his parents face and than looked at his brother who was looking at him with so much hope in his eyes. He gathered himself and said.
P- Thik hai Abhi me breathing tube dalunga. Nurse get me all the equipments and ventilator machine, please jaldi karo.
Abhi smile at Parth and wiped his tears. Parth inserted the breathing tube and the ventilator, now Akshu is on ventilator and Abhi felt his tears return. Soon the preparation was done for open heart.
P- Abhi chal aab jaldi surgery start kar me nazar rakhunga Akshara ki breathing pe.
Abhimanyu took the scalpel in his hand and took a deep breath before making his first cut on his Akshu's delicate body.
Ab- OM NAMAH SHIVAYA, mahadev sath dena mera aur meri Akshu ka. Akshu tum bhi mera sath dena please.
Abhi gathered all the courage that he can and made his first cut down the middle of her chest. He cuts through muscle, tissues and got to her breastbone. Now comes the most scary part which is to break through her breastbone to get to the heart. He took a saw and turned it on but he cannot make himself to use the saw. Parth saw the hesitation on Abhi's face. He saw that his parents are focused on getting the bullet out.
P- Abhi kya huva ruk kyu gaya.
Ab- Daar lag raha hai yeh saw chalaneme.
P- Abhi ek kaam kar tu breastbone ke right side se incision ke through heart tak ja.
Ab- HMMM
Abhi follows what Parth said. Abhi step by step did the procedure. He was finally done with closing the opening in the heart. By this time Anand and Mahima were also done with getting the bullet out only thing that left was to close the surgery site. Abhi finishes the procedure by closing her chest incision. The surgery lasted for 6 hours as they ran into more complication during the surgery. After 6 hours Abhi sat down on the OT floor looking at his gloved hands which were cover in his Akshu's blood. He can no longer hold back his tears. He just let his dam open and tears poured from his eyes. He took his gloves and threw it away in frustration. Parth went up to him and held his hand.
P- Abhi sambhal khudko, dekho subse bada task tha vo tu ne kardiya aab bas kuch time me Akshara ko bhi hosh aajayega.
Ab- Aur nahi hota mujse. Parth bhai please Akshu ko abhi hosh me layaavo na.
Mh- Parth tum Abhimanyu ko bahar lejao. Hum yaha baki sab sambhal lenge.
Parth took Abhi outside. Once out Neil and Manjari went to Parth and Abhi.
Ne- Parth bhai, surgery kaisi rahi. Bhabhi kaisi hai, aur bhai kyu kuch nahi bolrahe hai.
P- Neli Abhi, thoda thaka huva hai surgery bohat complicated thi aur lambi bhi, filhal Abhimanyu emotionally, mentally, aur physically weak hai to humme usse sambhal na hoga.
MAA- Abhi mera baccha dekha tuje apne pyaar, apne mahadev, aur apni Akshu pe bharosa hai na to pir bas aab ek aur aasu nahi. Akshu jab uthegi to muje bolegi kya MAA apne mere Abhi ko bilkul sambhala nahi dekho vo kitna thaka huva lag raha hai. Aur aankhe to dekho koi bhi dekhega to daar jayega.
Manjari tried to lighten the atmosphere but Abhi's eyes still depicts emptiness.
Parth and Neil took Abhi to the bench and made him sit. Neil brought water and forcefully made him drink water. Manjari took Abhi's head and made him lay in her lap tears were constantly pouring from his eyes. Suddenly Abhi started breathing abnormally.
MAA- Parth beta dekhna Abhi ko kya huva hai. yeh aisi saas kyu lerahah hai.
P- Chachi aap shant raheye. Me dekhta hu.
Parth checks Abhi.
P- Neil jaldiaa meri help kar Abhi ko room me lejaneme. Abhi dekh meri taraf gheri saas le. Muje pata hai tum Akshu ko leke ghabhra raheho per hosla rakho.
Parth and Neil quickly took Abhi to a room. Parth gave Abhi Diazepam shot to calm him down. Soon Abhi fainted due to exertion, and stress. Manjari sat beside him and caress his head with love. She went out as she cannot see his son in this condition. She went to the ganesh temple in the hospital.
MAA- Bappa aap ko to sab vighnaharta kehte hai na, to phir mere Abhi aur Akshu ke jivan me itna bada vighna kyu. Kyu aap mere dono baccho ki itni agnipariksha le raheho, kyu unke pyaar ki itni kathin pariksha le raheho.
Neil and Parth joined Manjari praying for their brother and their bhabhi. It was now an hour since Akshu's surgery was completed and Abhi has been resting under the effects of medication. Parth has asked Manjari to go home and rest as she is also not 100% fit. Shefali and nishta was at home with Manjari. Neil and Parth are in Abhi's room. Mahima and Anand is finally done with Akshu's check up before shifting her to an ICU room. Here Abhi woke up screaming.
Ab- AKSHU NAHI MERI AKSHU KO MUJSE DUR MAT KARO AKSHUUU. AKSHUUUUU.
P- Abhi shant hoja Akshara thik hai mom- dad usse ICU me shift karne wale hai.
Ab- Muje jana hai meri Akshu ke pass muje jane do.
P- Jane denge per phele tu shant hoja. Dekh Abhi tuje bohat strong banna hoga tu weak nahi ho sakta. Tumhe Akshara ke liye strong honna hoga. Akshara ki bohat badi aur bohat he complicated surgery hui hai aur do- do goli bhi lagi thi to recovery bohat he tough hai uske liye, aur iss recovery me tumhe uska sabse bada support ho, to tumhe ekdum himmat se kaam lena hoga.
Ab- Muje Akshu ke pass jana hai please muje jane dijiyena.
The Birla brothers went out of the room and saw Akshu being wheeled to the ICU room. Abhi ran to her and held her hand.
Ab- AKSHUUUU.......dekho me...me aa...aagaya tum...tumhare pass.
Akshu was shifted to ICU room. Mahima attached IV's and also started drips.
Ab- Taiji Akshu kyu venti...ventilator pe hai.
Mh- Abhimanyu dekho tum khud ek doctor ho to me baat ko khuma ungi nahi, per Akshara ke organs bohat damage hogaye hai blood loss, aur bullet trauma ki vajahse.
A- Humne try kiya Akshara ko sirf face mask pe rakhneka but uska O2 saturation bohat low hogaya which is dangerous for her body.
Mh- Abhimanyu to be very honest Akshara ki body shock me chali gayi hai, vo apne aap saas nahi le paa rahi hai to jab tak Akshara khud saas nahi lena start karti tab tak humme usse ventilator pe rakhna hoga.
Abhi sat on the stool beside Akshu's bed and held her hand and looked at her with utmost care and love in his eyes. Mahima and Anand left the room with Parth and Neil following them out the door.
Ab- Ak...Akshuuu.... Tum to meri jaan hona to phir kyu apni jaan ki jaan tadpa rahiho. Akshu I know mene bohat galat kiya tumhare sath. Muje tumhari ba...baat suni chaheye thi. Muje gusse me humara rish...humara rishta nahi tod...todna chaheye tha, please uske liye muj...mujee maa...maaf kardo.
Abhi kissed Akshu's hand and kept his head on her hand and faced her. He slept looking at his love. Birla family stood outside the room and saw how broken Abhimanyu is.
P- I hope Abhimanyu aur Akshara phirse phele jaise hojai, haste khelte.
Ne- ha bhai sahi kaha apne.
Mh- Parth
P- Ji mom kuch kaam hai kya
Mh- Nahi bas kehna tha ki good job in OT.
A- ha bhai pheli baar Parth tumne koi acha kaam kiya.
P- Thank you mom-dad at least aap donone muje iss layak to samja ki me koi kaam to aasakta hu.
Mh- tumhe to sidhe muh tarif karna bhi galat hai. Khair vo sub chodo Parth tum aur Neil ghar jao Manjari, Shefali, Nishtha akele hai.
Ne- ji taiji agar gharse kuch chaheye to boldena.
Parth and Neil leaves for home, Mahima and Anand went to their office. Harshvardhan was in his office working on some new PR strategies. Nobody slept through out the night. Soon morning markes its presence. Abhi was still sleeping as after a long one month his Akshu is near him. Akshara is still unconscious. Mahima was constantly keeping check on her. Goenka's were still at the wedding enjoying unaware of the storm that came and the destruction it made.
So this chapter had a lot of medical terms and talks related to medical field, this was to show that even though Parth doesn't practise medicines he still knows medicine and he can perform surgeries or atleast help in surgeries. I work in hospital on a cardiac wing so you will see a lot of medical talks in my story because I try to keep it as close to real as possible. If you don't like a lot of medical talks than you can tell me I will try to cut down on the medical terms.
