Back to Rue's Narrative❤️
Today was our first day back to school after break. Ready for all the rumors and assumptions to flood the halls, wondering eyes, making judgmental thoughts and insincere teachers who pretend to care about your well being.
Maddy woke up next to Marie-Janae and got up to start her morning routine. 25 minutes later Mj knocks on the door "Mads its 7 o'clock time to get out love!" she said before going to pick out her outfit for the school day.
Maddy came out in a velour pink y2k track suit and pink tiny heels(fit in media) "okayy im done sorry for taking so long" she says coming out "okay ill be out in 20"
19 minutes later Mj came out of the bathroom in a bape hoodie, a cut wife beater, graphic jeans with stars on them and gray and pink Jordan 1s.
"let me so my hair and we can go" Marie says ad she takes off her bonnet and picking out her roots and puts curling cream throughout her hair then diffusing the curls. "okay lets bounce bitch" Mj picks up her backpack
walked downstairs to nobody because Aysanae and Camille left so they could be early and review their schedule and locker.
the two girls got in the car and made their way too school. "i ain't miss this place one fucking bit" Mj says to her friend as they arrived in the parking lot "i cant believe were gonna graduate in 4 months" Maddy says excited before the car parks
They walk into the school hand in hand and go to their shared locker and put their books away "what class u got M?" MJ said closing the locker "i got English first. what bout you" she said pulling friend her upstairs "i got art" she said once the reached the top of the staircase

Maddy was in now in Physics about to fall asleep when the door creaked indicating someone entering the door "i assume you're Ms. Star" the teacher says making Camille nod slowly "well since todays your first day ill let it slide but we don't tolerate tardiness in my class Ms. Star" The teacher says with a subtle attitude hinted in her voice "mmm its Mil" she says with more attitude
before looking around the classroom and going to sit with Madeline. "Hey ma ma" she said as she reached the table "Hey Mil" Maddy smiled hugging her before Mil sat down "what are you doing today" mil says looking at the petite girl "I'ma stay home today, i'm gonna stay home with my mom" She says with a smile on her face
"mmm- "Madeline, Camille! would you like to share your conversation with the rest of the class" the teacher says "no. keep talking" Maddy says while waving her hand at her "excuse me, that is extremely disrespectful Ms Perez" her teacher exclaimed shocked
"mmcht im sorry for your inconvenience" maddy says leaning back into her chair looking the teacher dead in her face. "its a new semester, ill let this slide. but please be more respectful maddy" she says " "hm okay" she replies containing her attitude
Maddy was now home, cooking dinner (which she only did on special occasions) while waiting for her mom to get home.
she heard the door close "hi mami" she said with a smile across her face "Hola, hija, ¡tu cocina!Cuál es la ocasión especial?" she says in shock putting her purse down
"Nada, simplemente no he pasado tiempo contigo en mucho tiempo" she says moving the rice onto a plate and pouring beans on top "Ve a cambiarte y luego ven a comer" Maddy says going into the fridge as her mom goes into her room and comes back leggings, a Tshirt & her hair in a bun "Vale, vamos a comer" she says pouring her mom some water and then some for her self
"Esto está bien, ya apenas estás en casa" her mom says smiling "Lo sé, lo siento, pero intentaré pasar más tiempo en casa" she says smiling and putting some food in her mouth "Cómo está Nate" her mom said trying to be nice even though she didn't like him at all "Umm, está bien. Ya no estábamos juntos" Maddy says awkwardly stabbing her food because of the weird topic "Qué ha pasado?" her mom says referring to their "Love"
"Simplemente no éramos buenos juntos" she said while her mom hid her happiness on the news she had heard
"Mami , si tuvieras la oportunidad de irte,lo aceptarías?"
she asks looking up from her plate at her mom "De qué estás hablando?" her mom furrowed her eyebrows "No lo sé, no importa" she says going back to her food.
"soo im going college soon" she says changing the topic "ensé que habíamos hablado de esto. No vas a ir" her mom looks at her with a serious face and a stern voice "i know but shouldn't i have an education" maddy says trying to make a face more stern than her mothers
"Qué ha ocurrido? Dijiste que no querías ir. teníamos un acuerdo" her mom says "well i changed my mind. and i think you should be proud of me" maddy says aggravated and confused "ORGULLOSO? SABES CUÁNTO DINERO CUESTA LA UNIVERSIDAD" her mom raises her voice after dropping her fork
much more inappropriate stuff came out of her mom's mouth "Bueno, siento tus molestias, pero voy" she says dropping her fork and storming off into her room.
"hello, um can you pick me up please" Maddy said with a raspy voice, and on the verge of tears "yeah ill be there soon" she heard through her phone "thank you" she said sniffing "do you want to stay on the phone with you" she heard " no im gonna shower then pack" maddy said before hanging up
After maddy finished packing and she heard a honk "A dónde vas" her mom says when she walks out of her room "La casa de un amigo" she said slamming the door not waiting for a reply because she simply didn't care
Maddy opened the car door and sat down "what happened" Mil says as Maddy hugs her "so like what had happened was, i felt bad for not being home so much so i made me and my mom dinner and we were having a conversation she was asking me about Nate and dumb shit. Then i was like im going to College soon because of what you and I talked about and she blew up on me getting mad at me" Maddy started rambling
"Respirar amor" Camille said with her hand on her back before she started driving to her house "Thank you" she said studying Mil

"its February 2nd 2022, its a 2sday" mil said wrapping her arm around the smaller girl "hmm that means at 2:22 you gotta gimme a kiss" she said giggling "madeline dont start shit you cant finish lil girl" she said whispered im her ear
"wheres my kiss bitch" Maddy said at 2:20 "first of all its 2:20" mil says "head start bitch" she bucked making mil grab her neck "dont play with me" she said looking at her eyes then her lips before she leaned in kissing her before maddy snapped a picture
"girl wtf you takin pictures for?" mil says, pulling away "i got my 2222 picture" she kissed all over her face smiling "you a weird ass mother fucker merched"'Mil said chuckling "no im not" Maddy stale faced her her

"ohh well im straight" she said with a cheesy smile but when Mj looked at her, she didn't believe and she wouldn't admit it but Maddy didn't believe what she was saying either. she never felt attracted to girls.
im straight. she said in her head repeatedly, zoning out "Maddyyy" BB dragged snapping her out of her daze "hmm" she hummed "are you going to the party tonight" Kat asked "its Tuesday. why is there a party on a tuesday" Aysanae interrupted "its a special day"
"what special day" Mj looked at her stupid "2sday ion fucking know but what i do know is we bout to get wild" BB says hype "mmm" Aysa hummed "umm ill see" maddy said looking towards Kat and BB
The bell rang causing their group to disband from their lunch table "bye guys" they all said over-lapping each other before making their way to 6th period.
"were going to a party" maddy told Mil as they were in the car "we are? i don't remember discussing this!" Mil questions with an amused face "we just did the fuck!" she said. "mmm okay. just text me when to scoop you"
"mmkay. bye love you" maddy opens the door before kissing her cheek and walking into her house.
