Mads: what do you mean we have a problem?
Jones: Mads, we're going to put you under general anesthesia.
Mads was already unconscious when she finished her sentence.
Jones: Mads?
She looked to see her unconscious already.
Jones: put her under anesthesia please.
They put Mads under anesthesia and they were trying to figure out where the blood was coming from.
Jones: it's not coming from her uterus.
Wilson: and no blood is coming from her liver or kidneys.
Jones: well her heart rate is falling and she's still bleeding so it's coming from somewhere.
Wilson: oh I know what the problem is now.
*Josh's Pov*
Josh: she's going to be okay right?
Nurse: she's going to be just fine.
The nurse picks her up and puts her in my arms.
Nurse: you have one beautiful daughter. Congratulations again.
Josh: thank you.
The nurse walked away and I pulled out my phone. I really should call her mom even though I said I did knowing I really didn't.
Tiffany: hello?
Josh: hey, I got news.
Tiffany: is Mads ok?
Josh: well, they couldn't find the problem so she got induce and well I'm holding your granddaughter right now.
Tiffany: really?
Josh: yep. I told Mads I called y'all so I need y'all to come and bring everyone else I need to call my mom.
Tiffany: alright.
She hanged up and I gave the nurse my baby.
Josh: I'll be right back.
Nurse: ok.
I walked out of the NICU and went to the bathroom and changed. After I changed I went to the waiting room to be greeted by Addison and Bryce.
Addison: well?
Josh: what?
Bryce: bruh.
Josh: oh yeah. She had the baby yeah.
Addison: aww, your dad now.
Josh: I guess I am. Now I need to call my parents.
I went to go call my parents to tell them the good news. I went back inside and the doctors were talking to Addison and Bryce.
Josh: what's going on?
Addison: they have news on Mads?
Josh: what do you mean news on Mads?
Jones: we found the problem on why she was having so much pain.
Josh: well why?
Jones: her appendix were in flamed and after I delivered the baby her appendix ruptured.
Josh: so she had appendicitis?
Wilson: yes. We stopped the bleeding and took out her appendix.
Jones: she's doing just fine now and she's in her room but she's still unconscious.
Addison: can we go in?
Jones: of course.
We followed the doctor and OB back to Mads room. She's laying there so peacefully.
Riley: woah.
Addison: hey.
Riley: is she ok?
Josh: yeah, she's just unconscious.
Tiffany: where's the baby?
Josh: in the NICU.
Riley: can we see her?
Josh: I'll take y'all.
Addison: I'm coming too.
Bryce: I'll stay here.
I took Mads parents, Riley, Addison and Indiana to the NICU.
Josh: there she is.
Riley: wow.
Indiana: she's so beautiful.
Addison: she looks just like you Josh.
Josh: yeah I kinda figured.
Tiffany: why is she hooked up to these machines?
Josh: they said because she was born early.
Indiana: I can't get over how beautiful she is.
Riley: same.
Josh: I need to go back to the house and get the baby bag and hospital bag. Can y'all let me know if anything happens?
Steve: yeah of course.
I walked out of the NICU and out of the hospital.
*Bryce's Pov*
I was on my phone minding my business when Mads monitor started beeping like crazy.
Nurse: sir step out the room please.
I stepped out worrying if Mads was okay. I paced back and forth waiting for the nurse to open the door hoping it's not bad news.
Nurse: ok, she's fine. She just need oxygen.
Bryce: so she's ok?
Nurse: yes, she's awake right now so if you want to go back in you can.
Bryce: thank you.
I walked back in and Mads was staring in my direction.
Bryce: hey stranger.
Mads: h-hey.
Bryce: how you feeling?
Mads: awful. Where is everybody?
Bryce: on their way.
Mads: where's my baby?
Bryce: in the NICU. They figured out the problem.
Mads: problem?
Bryce: your appendix was inflamed that's why you were in so much pain.
Mads: is she okay?
Bryce: yeah she's just fine.
Mads: thank you.
Bryce: for what?
Mads: never leaving. You never left not once so thank you.
Bryce: I can't leave someone who I need and needs me.
Mads: still thank you, come here I want to hug you.
I got up and Mads gently hugs me.
Mads: when can I see her?
Bryce: I don't know Mads, you gotta wait for the nurse to come back.
Riley: Mads!
Mads: ow Ri, you're shouting.
Riley: I'm sorry I'm just glad you're okay.
Mads: where's Josh?
Riley: went home to get some things.
Josh: well he's back now.
Mads: I wanna see my baby.
Josh: you can't you just had your appendix removed.
Mads: no fair.
Josh: I know.
*One week later*

Nurse: you and your baby will be discharged tomorrow.
Mads: thank you.
Riley: I wanna hold her again.
Josh handed the baby to Riley.
Nurse: but before we discharge you two we need a name for her.
Josh: oh my gosh I totally forgot.
Mads: the names we were talking about were Autumn and Bellamy.
Dakota: well which one is is going be?
Mads: umm- well-
Josh: you don't like them don't you?
Mads: it's not like I don't like them it's just that she doesn't feel like a Bellamy and she definitely doesn't feel like a Autumn.
Josh: well, we're back to square one.
Riley: how about this.
She got out and points to a tattoo on my back.
Mads: what?
Josh: that doesn't sound bad.

Josh: we could name her Birdie.
Mads: mhm...isn't that my characters name on chicken girls?

Josh: I like it.

Nurse: sign her than he needs to sign here.
I sign the birth certificate then Josh signed it.
Doctor: you have some visitors.
Josh: let them in.
The nurse and doctor walked out and Jaden and Nessa walked in.
Mads: you gotta be kidding me.
Jaden: hi
Riley: not again.
