Summary: Two bisexuals fight over an emo.

School.

Dark Choco didn't mind it at all. Well the workload that would be, the people were just plain insufferable.

He was what you would mainly call the quiet kid. Maybe it was because he didn't talk to anyone, wore all black and looked like he would straight up massacre the entire school at the given moment. He wasn't always like this, in middle school he was the popular jock with gorgeous hair and a dashing smile.

Whatever had changed him into the person he was today, not many would know. Dark Cacao liked to describe the changes as "teenage phases" but Dark Choco knew it was more than that.

Ever since that one fateful day his life had been changed forever, he would never be the same person no matter how hard he tried. His life was ultimately ruined and-

Woah there, got a bit off track. Back to the main story: Dark Choco started off his school day like any other person who had no idea what to do, sat at his desk organizing his school notes or writing things down in his diary. Dark Choco had always liked to stay organized, a skill drummed into his head by his father. It was the first day of his third year which, according to all the seniors, was the hardest year of high school. Yippee.

But as he was writing down his timetable for the day, the most bizarre thing happened.

A minute just before the bell went off, in came walking a rather comely girl that no-one had ever seen before. The room went silent, albeit with a few gasps. And it was clear to see why, the girl was stunningly gorgeous, with clear brown skin, neatly tied hair, pretty makeup and a smooth gray skirt that was way too short for school rules.

The teacher, Miss Oyster, got up from her desk. "Ah, glad to see you are finally here." Miss Oyster approached the student and gave them a friendly smile. "Everyone give Affogato Cookie a warm welcome! Won't you introduce yourself dear?"

Affogato nodded and gave a toothy grin. They opened their mouth to speak and the room went silent.

"Pleased to meet you everyone. My name is Affogato Cookie, as told. I transferred here from up north. It is a pleasure meeting you all, I hope we can get along on the future."

Dark Choco's head was spinning from their words. The problem wasn't the words themselves but rather the voice. What you would expect to be a beguiling feminine voice was replaced by the smoky voice of a teenage boy. Everyone in the room (except Miss Oyster) seemed shocked at this revelation.

Dark Choco was also shocked but only for an exact three seconds. He concluded that he simply did not care how this kid dressed or looked. As long as they stayed out of his path they, he wouldn't care. But then he noticed Affogato's eyes staring straight in his direction. Dark Choco looked to the back, to find out who he was looking at, only to be met with the gray wall.

He turned his head back to the front again and watched Affogato saunter down the classroom and sit down right next to Dark Choco Cookie. The class exploded into whispers and glances.

Dark Choco just averted his eyes and focused on his notebook. Something about the new student made him feel...uneasy. He swore he could feel their eyes on his back, but whenever he looked up - Affogato was busy doodling something in their book.

The period soon ended and he was heading off to his nextdoor class.

This was the day Dark Choco learned to trust his gut.

First, not only did Affogato manage to charm the whole class by making sly jokes during English, he also convinced Mr Dark Cacao to show everyone Dark Choco's baby photos for the whole lesson. Everyone had given him a high five for basically giving the math class a free lesson but Dark Choco felt utterly humiliated by the whole situation. He decided to murder Affogato and lock his body in the janitor's closet. And then he'd murder his father too.

By the time it was lunch, Dark Choco had gone to his locker. Dark Choco mainly ate his lunch in the shade of the giant oak tree during first break and spent second break curled up in the library. He made no plans to socialise, and rather worked on developing his academic skills.

However, this time an arm coiled itself around Dark Choco's shoulder. Dark Choco jolted at the touch, almost hitting poor Affogato in the face.

"Ah-! Oh it's you..." Dark Choco grumbled as he saw Affogato's cunning smile. "What do you need?"

Affogato pulled a pouty face. "Hmph! No polite greeting at all? How rude of you!" Dark Choco stared silently at the cookie. Is this guy for real..?

Affogato's face exploded into a laugh. "My, my! Why the serious look dear? I was only joking. I just wanted to talk to you. You caught my eye, you know?" He gave a tiny wink at Dark Choco, and he felt his stomach churn.

"Oh well my apologies for the rude introduction then." Dark Choco straightened himself. "My name is Dark Choco Cookie. Pleasure to meet you." Dark Choco held out his hand.

Affogato took Dark Choco's hand and his smile widened. "Affogato Cookie. The pleasure is all mine, Dark Choco."

Dark Choco quickly took his hand back. In all honesty, he did not want anything to do with this kid. But they were new, and he didn't want to be too harsh on them yet.

"Hey!"

A female voice sounded from behind. Dark choco turned his head around to see a girl with black hair and bronze streaks running up to him. He let out a sigh as the girl came into ear shot. "My prince! You're here! I was looking all over for you!" Her face bursted into a smile. The girl wore neat clothes resembling a school uniform, with a white shirt, blue blazer and skirt and black shoes.

Dark Choco flushed. "Caramel Arrow, I told you not to call me that in front of other people..." He whispered. The girl here was Caramel Arrow, who has been Dark Choco's friend since the moment they were born, literally. Dark Choco's dad was friends with Caramel Arrow's parents so they often spent a lot of time at each other's houses. Caramel Arrow had been homeschooled most of her life, which made her a little bit oblivious but Dark Choco did enjoy her company.

Caramel Arrow lifted a hand to her mouth. "Oh my word, I am so sorry!"
Dark Choco sighed and softly smiled. "It's alright. But what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with your new friends?"
Caramel Arrow looked to the side, a slight blush on their cheeks.
"Well um yeah but...I wanted to spend time with you!"
Dark Choco frowned. "You are making friends right?"
"Well yes of course I am!"

Caramel Arrow huffed. "Well...not really...but I did talk to this one cool guy! He said he knew how to train wolves! Isn't that amazing!?" Caramel Arrow beamed with excitement. Behind Dark Choco, Affogato let out a little snicker.

Caramel Arrow's eyes immediately fell on them. Her eyes layed on their legs for a few seconds, before moving back up again. "Erm Dark Choco, who is this..?" She asked, frowning.

Before Dark Chcoo could even open his mouth, Affogato stepped forward and spoke for him. "I'm Affogato Cookie! I'm Dark Choco's new friend." He gave Dark Choco a friendly bump. "I'm not your friend..." Dark Choco muttered to himself.

Caramel Arrow let out a shriek. "Y-Y-You're- You're a- You're a guy!" Affoto tilted his head innocently. "Why yes I am, do you have a problem with that?"
Caramel Arrow stumbled over her words. "Well- no I just- er- wasn't expecting you to-"
She glanced at Dark Choco with pleading eyes.

Dark Choco cleared his throat and stepped forward. "Ah, I haven't told you who this is. Affogato, this is Caramel Arrow. She's a longtime friend of mine."

Caramel Arrow took a respectful bow, which made Affogato's amused smile grow even wider. "Nice to meet you Affogato. I'm a first-year."
"Oh, haha really? Guess we're both new to this school then."
"Oh, you're new too? What year are you in?"
"Second year. I could tell you were younger than me since you seemed so...idiotic."

Caramel Arrow instantly snapped back up with a triggered look on her face. "What did you say to me?" She breathes out heavily, with enough murder in her eyes to kill half the planet.

Dark Choco glared at Affogato. As distant as he was, if anyone picked on Caramel Arrow, he'd bury them six feet under. "Affogato, play nice." He said rigorously. Affogato laughed with an innocent smile on his face. "Play nice? Why, I am nice...to dignified people."

Caramel Arrow grabbed him by the collar and pulled him close to her face. "How dare you say that! Take that back right now!"
"Hahaha, so easily riled up...you make yourself so easy to tease."

Dark Choco came between the two of them and tore them away from each other. "Both of you, stop it. This is a school hallway not a fight club." He stepped back and let out a hearty sigh.

"Sorry!" Caramel Arrow exclaimed, ducking her head. She looked incredibly embarrassed, her face tinted red. Affogato on the other hand, looked indifferent, only mumbling an apology.

Dark Choco then shouldered past them. "I'm going to go eat my lunch now. Do not follow me."

Caramel Arrow reached out her hand- "But-"

Dark Choco stopped and turned to glare daggers at Caramel Arrow. "I said, DO NOT FOLLOW. You two have been nothing but nuisances so far and I do not need you disturbing me for the entire day. We are not "best friends", and I certainly don't need any friends. I'll be on my way now." He turned back around and stomped down the corridor. He didn't need friends. He was a lone wolf, a misfit, an outsider. He was the only person he could trust the only person that could understand his pain...

Caramel Arrow watched awkwardly as Dark Choco stumbled away, muttering something about being a "lone wolf".

"Ah, now look what you did." Affogato's already annoying voice crept up on her, and she fought back the urge to jump. She turned swiftly to face him, a scowl on her face. "What I did!? You were the one who started it!" She crossed her arms angrily. "Why do you want to be friends with Dark Choco anyway? You look like you'd hang with the popular kids..."
"Oh my, was that a compliment? Thank you!"
"Grr you-!"
Affogato flicked his hair. "Well since you asked oh so nicely I'll tell you the reason why I'm trying to get close to Dark Choco. You see, a little birdie told me he was the top student on every class-"

Caramel Arrow instantly connected the dots. "You want to become friends to mooch off of him!?"
"Precisely dear...my, you're not as stupid as I thought."
Affogato patted Caramel Arrow's head, and she instantly slapped his hand away. "After all..." He continued, a sinister smile on his face, "...the lonely like him would do anything for a friend!"

He kept out a wicked cackle as Caramel Arrow watched on disgust.
"How dare you!" She yelled. "I will never let you'll do that! I'll become his best friend! And I'll make sure you never come neat him ever again!"

Affogato let out a chuckle. "We'll see about that."

"Um, you two?" Caramel Arrow and Affogato turned to face Sea Fairy. "You two are making too much noise. Please go outside."

Affogato and Caramel Arrow bowed in unison.
"Yes Miss Sea Fairy!"
"Will do Miss..."

Caramel Arrow glared at Affogato one last time. No matter what, she wouldn't let him get away with this. She will win the fight, and become Dark Choco's BFF.

No matter what.

A/N: This is 100% CaraAffo propaganda btw
Also I forgot to mention but some characters may be a bit more immature or have slightly different personalities because they are a lot younger in this.
