The present Season 3 episode 15
The sunlight beaming through my eyes woke me up that morning "Guess I forgot to close the curtains" I groaned as I rolled over onto my pillow. I then felt something crumble underneath my hand I sat up and looked down it was a slightly crumbled piece of paper I picked it up and smoothed it out, It was a drawing of me in pencil a grin lit up my face I knew only one person could have done this Nik.
For a second I forgot why I was staying away from him and ignoring his advances until I saw the message at the bottom "For my angel forgive me" my smile dropped as I remembered why I had left him in 1952 flashes of him with the dagger above my heart flashed through my head. I shook myself and got out of bed I opened my bedside table and pulled out an old box as I opened it, I placed the new drawing with all the others he had given me over the centuries and put the box back in its place. I mean just because I despise him doesn't mean I have to throw away a lovely portrait of my self right?
I ignored the thoughts in my head and went for a shower to wash last night away after which I went to my newly designed closet and pick out an outfit. I pulled on some black leggings with leather patches on the sides and knees, I paired it with a cream top that had a unique leopard print design which was red and black on it and was longer at the back. I pulled on some simple black leather pumps and simple circular earrings. I threw my hair into an elegant bun and did some simple make-up with red lips.
I went downstairs and grabbed a blood bag from the kitchen and poured it into a glass then walked into the sitting room with Klaus who was drawing and Kol both were sitting facing each other. Kol looked at me and spoke "well look sleeping beauty finally awakes"
"I think that's the other way around darling you were quite the sleeping beauty last night when you let Damon Salvatore break your neck. Really Kol you're an original" I teased him and Klaus chuckled.
"You wound me darling" he replies holding his had to his heart and smirked
"Your ego is so big it would be hard to even leave a scratch on it" I say walking up behind him and kissing the top of his head. I heard Nik growl quietly I just smirked and sat in the armchair beside Kol.
"I have to say the 21st century looks stunning on you Thyra. Wouldn't you agree Nik?" Kol cheekily said. I could feel Nik's eyes look me up and down slowly as I drank my blood I could feel myself heating up under his gaze I hated my body for reacting this way after all theses years. Before Nik could reply I was saved by Rebekah walking through the door thank god!
"Well well well there's our girl" Kol said standing up facing Rebekah who was still in last nights dress looking disheveled with heels in hand.
"Get out of my way Kol" Rebekah said in and angry yet controlled voice
"Out all night what a scandal, I trust you did better than that commoner Matt was it?" Kol said baiting her
"If you don't shut your mouth the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth" Rebekah pushing Kol out of then way and walking toward the center of the room "Don't start Nik" she said sounding fed up
"I didn't say anything" he smirked and I rolled my eyes
"I'm bored" Kol said falling onto the sofa
"Your always board you've the attention span of a three year old" I said Kol just playfully glared toward me and continued "our sister is a strumpet but at leased she's having fun I need some entertainment"
"What are you waiting for go on have at it" Nik replied
"Its no fun to go alone I need someone with me" he said
"I'm afraid I've important things to attend to" like finding out why Esther wanted to talk to the doppelganger last night I know she's up to something I can feel it in my bones.
"Such as love" Nik now looking at me again
"Nothing of your concern" I smirked back at him
"Join me Nik it's the least you can do after sticking a dagger in my heart" Kol said taking Nik's attention away from me
"Okay why not I didn't have nearly have enough to drink what with you trying to murder Rebekah's date" Nik agreed walking towards the door
"Yes please go this house has enough men rolling around in it" Rebekah shouted after them
"Just like you Bekah" Kol said to her
"Good riddance both of you" Rebekah retaliated by throwing her shoe at him.
"So Bekah good night, last night?" I said standing up laughing. Before she could reply Elijah entered calling her name
"Not you to Elijah" she sighed
"I'm worried about mother have you not noticed her strange behavior?" he said
"She's been dead for a thousand years what's strange for her" she replied rolling her eyes
"Burned sage she was doing a privacy spell" Elijah said suspiciously I stood in the background knowing she was up to something.
"You know she fancies such things why don't you ask Finn he's been doting on her" Bekah replied
"I don't trust Finn he hates what we are always has" Elijah said
"That's not true and as for mother she returned for one reason to make our family whole she loves us what trouble are you looking to find?" Rebekah said then walked off. I then spoke up
"I have a feeling Esther up to something Elijah and whatever it is it can't be good" worry creeping into my voice while looking at Elijah
"I'm going to speak with Elena she lied to me last night when she told me what she spoke to mother about" he said
"Good luck with that" I scoffed
"I'll call you when I find out something" he said and kissed my forehead then walked towards the door.

An hour later Elijah came back and told us what Esther had planed she was going to not only kill Niklaus but she was going to kill all of us. Fan-bloody-tastic only in town a week and I'm already facing my death. Rebekah took it hard I knew how she longed to have her mother back for centuries and now here she is trying to kill us.
Elijah told us he had left Elena in the tunnels under the town and sent Rebekah down to keep an eye on her and make sure she didn't run. He told her not to harm her unless he told her to as he was using her as leverage against the Salvatore's. Rebekah left as soon as Elijah told her the plan the next part I was not happy about
"Your just lucky your family Elijah" I said
"Thank you little one" he said and left for the Salvatore's
Elijah told me to go to the grill and distract Nik as he didn't want him knowing what Esther was up to yet. We knew it was for the best as Nik would go ballistic and ruin the plan with his temper. So I grabbed my cream coat and red Chanel purse hopped in my car and headed to the grill.

I came in the back way to the grill and spotted the two immediately I was about to walk over when I heard and interesting phone call between the local history teacher and Damon Salvatore. They were lucky I needed to keep Nik busy other wish I'd snap there necks. I knew they were going to dagger Kol and use Barbie Vamp for a distraction so I text Elijah to get here as soon as he could.
After that I seen Barbie walk up to Kol and Nik. "Oh its you" she said to Nik before he could reply I was in front of her.
"Well who else would it be darling I'm sure you recognized him the minute you walked in the door not only do we vampires have great hearing but we've excellent eyesight also" I smirked while Kol laughed
"I... I ..I" Caroline stuttered
"I I I" I mocked back
"Don't you have a boyfriend to bother? Oh that right he left you. I told you once now I'll tell you again stay away from my husband we might not be on the best terms now but that doesn't mean ill let some small town baby vampire who will most likely be dead in a few years speak to him that way" I spat at her
"Now as you didn't take my first warning into account I want you to leave go out side and snap your neck and when you wake up I want you to repeat this three more times now off you go" I compelled her and she left
"That darling was inspired" Kol said while clapping his hands
"I do try" I said while looking at Nik with a stormy expression
"Well ill leave you both to it shall I" neither of us replied and Kol walked off. I looked away from Nik placed my bag on the counter and ordered a bourbon and told the bartender to leave the bottle.
"That was a bit much don't you think love" Nik finally breaking the silence
"Are you stupid that bitch is best friends with the doppelganger and Bennett witch and girlfriend to one of your hybrids and not to mention her other companions who all despise us yet here you are flirting with the enemy" I spat at him
"Come on love don't be angry" he pleaded
"You know when people move on from someone they usually go for an upgrade not a downgrade" I said sipping my drink
"Who said I wanted to move on?" he whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine. He then moved back to his original position of leaning against the bar.
"We had a little spat I'm over it" He continued
"Well I'm not" I said
"How can I acquit myself?" he wondered
"Did you really think that drawing you left in my room this morning will makeup for 1952 and the years before it?" his face dropped
"I was hoping it was a step in the right direction, come on angel just forget about the past for a little while and sit down and talk to me without any games, sarcastic remarks or little digs take a chance I dare you" he said sitting on a stool and pulling out one for me I bit my lip and let out a sigh
"Ten minutes Nik" I replied
"Saying my name that's a good start" he smirked the refilled our glasses
"So what do you want to talk about?" I said picking up my fresh drink
"I want to talk about you I want to know what you've been doing for sixty years" he said looking me in the eyes with genuine interest
"Well after New York I went to London briefly, then to St Tropez to drown my sorrows in cocktails and the sun, then Paris, Milan, and Rome, Russia, India, Tokyo, China then in the 70s I went back to New York where I met Damon Salvatore but I didn't stay long and I traveled to the Caribbean after I traveled the US a bit then Elijah contacted me told me about the latest doppelganger, I knew you would be here soon to break the curse so I traveled to North Carolina to keep an eye on things I guess I was curious"
"Sounds like you've been just about everywhere love and Damon how did that come about?" he asked with a slightly jealous tone
"He had his emotions off and we partied a bit I was going by Tia Mitchell back then and when I left I compelled him to forget me he was much more fun back then" I told him
"The Salvatore's always are with there emotions off love" he laughed
"So tell me Nik what have you been doing for sixty years besides breaking the curse and killing Mikael which I congratulate you on by the way" I said and clinked my glass with his It was nice talking to Nik this way it reminded me of old times when we would sit down together and talk about how are days went.
"Well after I woke up I destroyed the apartment every room was destroyed except for your closet I couldn't bring myself to go in there so I had some humans pack it up and put your things in storage then I continued trying to break the curse oh and I killed your friend by the way Oliver Grayson I think his name was" he replied
"I had completely forgotten about him you know I was only using him right" I replied ignoring what he said about our NYC apartment.
"And you do know that in 1952 you were mine and I don't like men trying to take what's mine. Even after sixty years no matter how you try to deny it you are mine and I am yours angel always and forever" he was now inches away from me my breath caught in my throat, and my body heated up at what he had said he always did know how to charm me and make me feel special just as I was about to reply I felt a stabbing into my heart I fell forward into Nik's arms
"Thyra what's happening Thyra" he said panicked
"Kol" I got out before everything went black

I woke up in the alley behind the grill Nik must have carried me out here I saw Kol slowly coming back to life I saw the history teacher and Stefan on the ground while Klaus stood facing Damon threatening him when I saw Stefan was about to get back up and go for Nik's back I moved quicker and pinned him to the wall.
"Lovely to see you again Stefan" I said
"Thyra" He replied fear in his eyes
"And here I thought we where friend but you know what they say never trust a ripper never know when there going to stab you in the back" my hand tightening around his neck as I spoke.
"Leave them Niklaus Thyra we still need them both" I heard Elijah from the top of the steps I let Stefan go and he slumped to the ground
"What did mother do, what did she do Elijah?" I could hear the anger in his voice Elijah ignored him and walked down the steps towards Damon
"Tell me where the witches or I'll have my sister kill Elena right now" Elijah said
"You said we have till after nine" Damon said looking at the large clock in the town square. I then stepped in front of Elijah and said
"I'm sure Rebekah would love to start her work early we all know how she loves your little doppelganger" I said looking Damon in the eyes

After we were given the location from the Salvatore's Elijah, Nik, Kol and I headed straight there. As we walked up the hill we saw Esther and Finn who was in the middle of some sort of pentagram with torches surrounding them.
"My sons and daughter come forward" Esther said
"I'm no daughter of yours witch" I sneered
"Stay beside me mother" Finn said
"Its okay they can't enter" she said easily as if she wasn't about to kill me and all her children. Kol tried to enter but couldn't
"That's lovely where stuck out here while the favorite son plays sacrificial lamb how pathetic you are Finn" Kol said in a disgusted voice
"Be quite Kol your brother knows virtue none of you can even imagine" Esther said
"No matter what you think of us killing you own children would be an atrocity" Elijah told his mother
"My only regret is that I did not let you die a thousand years ago" she replied
"Like you let my sister die oh wait you killed her, Remember how you murdered Tatia to turn us into the monsters you believe us to be and now you use her doppelganger to murder us ironic really, A thousand years ago you and Mikael were so intent on me marring your son and joining your family only to turn me into what I am by force all because you were both afraid of the big bad wolf and Finn to think I pitied you in your struggle to come to terms with what you are but really you're just a coward hiding behind your mothers skirts something's never change" they both looked like I had hit a nerve good!
"End this now mother or I'll send you back to hell" Nik said
"For a thousand years I've been forced to watch you, felt the pain of every victim suffered while you shed blood, even you Elijah with your claim to nobility your no better, all of you you're a curse on this earth, Stretched out over generations. If you've come to plead for your life I'm sorry you've wasted your time" Esther said now tears in her eyes next thing we knew Esther shouted
"Sisters do not abandon me" the flames from around the pentagram blazed up and Finn grabbed Esther to shield her from them while we all tried to shield ourselves when the flames died down both Esther and Finn where gone.

"Are you sure I can't persuade you to come with me darling" Kol said putting his bags in the trunk
"Sorry the idea of a road trip doesn't really appeal to me Kol I'm sick of living out of suitcases I've been doing it for sixty years" I replied
"I'm sure you staying has nothing to do with Nik" he said smirking
"Honestly I don't know with Esther trying to kill us and you leaving and Elijah from the sounds of his and Rebekah's conversation he's fragile and me leaving too will just make it worse and I don't think I want to leave him again" I told him truthfully
"Always looking out for my brother what did he do to deserve you" Kol said walking towards me
"Nothing it was an arranged marriage remember" he chuckled at what I said
"I'll miss you my partner in crime who will I cause havoc with now" I pouted
"You'll survive Thyra I'm sure of it"
"Well don't be a stranger" I said and hugged him tight
"Goodbye darling" he said and walked to his car disappearing into the night. I then felt a presence behind me.
"Come to say goodbye as well Elijah" I said turning to the front of the house were he stood.
"I'm afraid so little one but don't worry it won't be for long" he said
"It better not be" I replied and he laughed he then kissed me on the forehead and vanished.
I then walked into Nik's study and heard him and Rebekah discussing the fact that there was still a white oak here in Mystic Falls
"It's not over Nik" Rebekah said
"Well I guess we've got a tree to burn" I said stepping into the room Rebekah smiled and Nik looked shocked to see me still here.
"Well I'm going to get some beauty sleep see you both in the morning" Rebekah said and walked from the room
"I thought you would have left" Nik said staring at me
"And here I thought you knew me Nik" I said walking closer to him. After tonight I realized how close I was to dying tonight and I didn't like it and now with white oak around here somewhere and Esther still out there and the fact all of us were linked I was still that much closer to dying. I realized that I didn't want to die without Nik by my side so maybe I was a fool but right now in this moment I didn't care.
"Nik?" I said coming even close so that there was barley any distance between us.
"Yes?" he gulped
"Kiss me" I said and he did. He pulled me towards him and smashed his lips to mine in a passionate kiss it had been sixty years since I had last felt his lips on mine, it was well overdue we both fought for dominance in which he won. Sparks flew between us as the air around us became hotter I then pulled away and leaned my forehead on his as my lips tingled
"I missed you angel" he said breathlessly
"This doesn't mean I forgive you" I said just as breathless he chuckled
"I wouldn't expect any less, angel"
"Good now take me upstairs" I replied
"With pleasure" he said then hoisted me up in his arms as our lips joined once again I wrapped my arms and legs around him as he sped towards his room.
A/N Two parts in one day woo!! that is amazing for me but because college is coming to an end soon I've loads of work to finish so it will be about two weeks until i update again so see you soon please vote and comment it means the world!
