I stand as still as I possibly can, shaking slightly as Moon gently turns my head from side to side, red eyes tracing every inch of my face. After a few moments of this, he scoffs and shoves me away. "You're not a threat. You'll be fine as long as you don't wake the children. DON'T wake the children, " he whispers in a threatening tone, his voice deeper than Sunny's and slightly raspy. He stands up to his full height, making me feel tiny, I barely come up to his waist. He glances me over one more time, then makes his way over to the rows of sleeping kids. I sit down on a beanbag, not wanting to interrupt his work, especially after that warning. Well, that definitely could've gone worse. At least he didn't hurt me. Much. I prod at my tender neck, wincing as my finger makes contact. Yep, that's gonna leave a bruise.
After a few minutes I look up, and Moon is staring directly at me. I feel my heart rate pick up as he makes his way over to me, an eerie grin creeping over his face, showing off fanged teeth almost as sharp as his claws. He crouches down as he gets in front of me, his face way too close to mine. "I've decided," he chuckles, "that I want to play a game with you, Starlight. YOU are going to hide, and I will find you. Try not to get caught though, you might not like what happens if you do." He looks angry when I don't respond. He lifts me out of the beanbag and stands me up, roughly shoving at me. "You've got one minute Starlight; you might want to run." He snarls the last word, sending chills down my spine. I watch as he turns around, and then I sprint towards the giant play structure, which is riddled with tubes, slides, bridges, and many other corners and hiding places. I scramble my way up a small staircase, and crawl for what feels like forever. "Tick tock," Moon's voice floats tauntingly. I climb higher and higher, finally finding a small corner and I tuck myself there. I flinch as I hear loud bangs and bumps coming from below me. He must be in here already, but I'm in a good spot, right?
I'm shaken from my thoughts when the sounds get louder and louder. Oh shit, OH SHIT, SHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT! I start crawling in the opposite direction as fast and as quietly as I can, just to turn the corner and come face to face with Moon himself. Before I can scream, he slams his cold metal hand over my mouth, and leans in close. "Naughty, naughty Starlight, you weren't supposed to let me find you," he grins coldly as he grabs my leg and drags me higher and higher through the play structure. I couldn't scream or do anything, I was completely frozen in fear, my breath caught in my throat, my blood turning to ice. We finally reach the top, it must have been at least 15 feet tall. I cringe as my face smacks into a metal bar. Moon turns back, looking almost apologetic, before his face hardens and he lifts me up by my ankle. I feel all the blood in my body rush towards my head, except for the little bit dribbling out of my ankle. His claws must have broken the skin. He puts his face so close that our noses are practically touching. "You let me find you, Y/n. That means you must be punished. . ." He drops me onto the top of the structure, and quickly pins me down before I can escape. I struggle to escape, both of my hands immobilized by the giant animatronic, as a tear rolls down my cheek.
I cringe as a long tongue snakes out of his mouth and licks up the salty tear. I shiver as it lingers, and trails down my face and around my neck. "Mmm Starlight," he whispers, "you taste like fear." He leans closer, "delicious." Why does he have a tongue? And why is it so long? I look at how we are positioned. I'm laying on my back, Moon is straddling me, using one hand to pin both of my wrists above my head. I blush at the implication in my mind. No, no, stop, he's trying to hurt you, and he's a robot anyway, he wouldn't have anything like that. Would he? I can't help glancing down between his legs. Moon immediately notices, taking in my blushing face. "Curious, are we Starlight?" he pushes his body closer to mine, and I can feel the outline of his entire body. Oh.
Luckily, the lights turn back on before things can go any further. Moon winces at the bright light, glaring at Sunny, who is coming back out of the tower where they seem to go when they charge. "This isn't over Starlight, you still need to be punished. See you later," he smirks as he jumps down and crawls up the tower, disappearing into the shadows. I stand up, shaking, and I look around. Well crap, how am I going to get down? I can't jump, I would definitely get hurt. Then I notice that there is a part of the structure overlooking the ball pit. Hm . . . that might work. I make my way over to the jutting tube, and stand on the edge. It's a long fall, but the soft plastic balls would keep me from getting too injured, right? I shake my hands from side to side to steel my nerves, and prepare to jump. I close my eyes, but before I push off with my legs, I hear a shout.
"Y/N!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING????" I open my eyes to see Sunny scrambling up the side of the play structure, and quickly coming over to where I am. He grabs me quickly, pulling me away from the edge. "Y/n, were you going to jump?! You would've gotten seriously hurt! Are you okay? How did you get up here??" He asks, his face filled with worry. I shake my head to clear my thoughts. "Sorry, Sunny. Moon brought me up here, I just thought . . . I don't know, that the ball pit would break my fall enough that I would be okay. I- I don't know what I was thinking, I'm sorry," I stammer, embarrassed. I feel really bad worrying him, he looks really upset. Sunny hugs me closer. "It's okay Y/n! Just ask for help next time, okay??" he grins as we picks me up. Hopefully there won't be a next time, I'm terrified of heights. Sunny walks over to the edge of the structure, gripping me tightly. "Hold on tight Y/n!" He exclaims as he jumps down. I feel my stomach drop as we fall for what feels like forever. His feet hit the floor with surprisingly little noise, and he gently sets me down. I stand, shaking a little bit.
"Well, Y/n, Moon and I both agree that you're absolutely perfect for the daycare! You just need to see Miriam to get you all set up for your job! Thank you so much for applying! A little help is very much needed around here!" Sunny exclaims gleefully, hugging me. I assume Miriam is the kind lady who showed me here. "Thank you, Sunny! I really need this job!" I smile at him. Even with Moon being a menace, I need this job. And the pay is just too good to pass up, I've delt with creepy coworkers before. Sunny walks me over to the doors, and we exchange goodbyes as leave. I turn back to see him waving before he has to attend to the children again. I make my way over to the front with ease, as the crowd has died down significantly. How long was I there for?? It didn't feel like much time at all. The lady from this morning is there, sorting out some papers from behind the desk.
"Hello, ma'am," I say softly to get her attention. She looks up and smiles widely when she sees me, and I notice her name tag: Miriam. "Hey there darlin'! I assume it went well, since you're here to see me! I knew it would, you're such a sweetheart and I knew you and Sun would get along real well! Did you get to meet Moon?" she questions eagerly. "Oh, yeah," I laugh, "he seems like more of a handful than the kids!" She chuckles at my response, pulling out a few papers from a manilla folder. She holds them out to me along with a pen. I take them and glance over them. Job requirements, food allowance, living arrangements, break times. "Wait, living arrangements??" I ask. "Oh, yes, just making sure your room is up to standard and all that. Saying you wont make permanent changes, you'll fix it before you leave, etcetera." She informs kindly. "Wait, wait, what do you mean my room? I'm sorry, I just don't understand." She looks at me questioningly. "You applied to be the live-in Daycare Assistant. You have to live here, it's in the contract," she points out a paragraph typed in the tiniest font legible. "B-but I can't, I have an apartment, I can't live in a daycare!" I stammer. "Well darlin', I'm really sorry, but you do have to for the job. Something about being able to repair the boys at any time," she looks at me apologetically, "you have 5 days to fully move in though!"
I take several minutes to consider it. Weird coworker, I have to live here, it's working with children. But, amazing pay, Sunny is just adorable, free food, and access too all of the Plex features, off hours of course. "Okay," I finally say, "where do I sign?" After Miriam points out several places for me to sign, we eventually complete the paperwork. "Alrighty darlin'! That's all the paperwork! Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza Plex! I'll have a uniform ready for you tomorrow! And like I said earlier, you've got 5 days to move in! Go on back to the daycare, and Sun will show you your room!" I nod politely, grinning. Turning over all of the events from the day, I head back to the daycare. I use the door this time, and notice the absence of children as I walk in.
"Hi! Hi! Y/n!" Sunny drops the glitter glue bottles he had been picking up. He picks me up and twirls around with me in a hug. "Hey Sunny! So, apparently, I'm gonna live here! Miriam said you'd show me the room?" A huge grin stretches across his face. "Oh Y/n!! We'll be roommates!! Well, almost, we'll be neighbors!!" Sunny takes my hand and leads me over by the tower, where a door that blends in almost perfectly sits. He opens it, and I peer inside. It's about the size of a studio apartment. I see a small bed with only a mattress, a small couch, a tiny dining room table with 2 chairs. I walk further inside, looking at the kitchen. It surprisingly has a stove, microwave, and even a coffee machine. Hah, I guess I'll need that if I'm gonna be around kids all day. After a quick tour, Sunny and I leave. "So, Y/n, what do you think? Do you like it?! I can't wait, we're gonna have so much fun together!! And don't worry about Moony, he's a sourpuss, but he'll come around!" I scoff, "Oh yeah, he's a real asshole alright." Sunny gasps and covers his mouth with his silicone covered hands. "Y/n! Language!" "Haha, sorry Sunny, I'll try to watch my mouth." I glance at the watch on my wrist, and my jaw drops when I see the time. "Oh my gosh, I have to get home! I'll bring some of my things when I come to work tomorrow, okay Sunny? And thank you so much for the job I really need it!"
After at least half an hour of Sunny pleading for me to stay, I finally make it out of the daycare, and go out to my car. I turn it on, taking a deep breath, decompressing from all of the events of the day. I drive home, idly turning all of the events of the day over, attempting to keep my thoughts away from what happened with Moon, my face tinging pink whenever they wander that way. Man, what a day. At least Sunny seems nice. He's adorable too. I chuckle. Moon was . . . interesting. I don't think he's that bad. Maybe I could figure out what was making him aggressive. I enter my small apartment, it's somehow even smaller than the one at the daycare. There are dirty clothes everywhere, and the dirty dishes have been piling up for a few days now. I sigh, disappointed in myself. I really need to clean up. I stretch, popping my back, and throw myself onto my bed. Maybe tomorrow. My thoughts linger on suns and stars as I drift to sleep.
