BENEFITS/MERITS
• The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) is reported to have said to Hazrat Ali (R.A) that before going to sleep, it is necessary to fulfill five of the following duties before you go to sleep. They include:
To give 4 thousand Dinars as a charity.
Reciting the whole Quran completely.
Developing friendship among those who are fighting.
To pay the debt of Heavens.
Performing Pilgrimage.
These were the five things that were told, by the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) to do before anyone goes to sleep.
Which is impossible for anyone to do, then he explained the hadith further, (peace be upon him)
Recite Surah Al-Fatiha 4 times. As reciting it for once is equal to donate 1 thousand Dinars.
Reciting surah ikhlas 3 times is equivalent to reciting a whole Quran
Istighfar (Astaghfirulla) develop the friendship between two people who are fighting.
Recite Darood Ibrahim 10 times to pay the debt of Heavens.
Recite the 3rd Kalma for 4 times, then it is like you have performed Pilgrimage.
That's it, Allah made this so simple for us! Ar-Rahman, Ar-Raheem, the great!
