Vivian Pov
Staying away from her is a lot harder than I imagined, I know she's safe with the guards and nothing bad will ever happen to her while she's in the castle
But there's just this nagging feeling in my chest, just wanting her close to me, holding her and cuddling her for as long as possible
It's not just me Gloria is no better, she's been distracted and a little cold towards anyone who isn't me
It made both of us feel a little better after we saw her on FaceTime, that she was okay and listening to what we said to her even when she didn't particularly want to
"Relax babe, we can call her again after we're done with this part, she should be finishing up lunch" I whispered to Gloria, who's eyes turned cold 10 minutes ago
I grabbed her hand softly, putting my attention back on the shop owner who was speaking from the podium
"I miss her so bad" I heard Gloria whisper softly, squeezing my hand gently, her eyes still trained forward
"Me too love, me too" I mumbled back just as soft, silently hoping the guy would hurry up and let us go, he's been saying the same sentence for the last 10 minutes
We both got up as soon as the speech was over, walking to our car in the proper manner, which took us 10 minutes
I pulled out my phone, pressing the face time button, Gloria leaned closer her head resting on my shoulder, still being able to look at the screen
"Vivi?" Bella's soft voice came, her phone was set on the bed most probably perched on one of the food lids, there was a tray full of food in front of her and a small plate in her hand
"Did we catch you at a bad time bugy? You were having lunch?" Gloria asked softly moving to sit up and staring at my phone
"Nuh huh, it's okay, was finished" She replied, giving us a small smile and setting the small plate away
I looked at the back wall and instead of being in her own room like we had expected her to be, she was in our room it made me chuckle softly
"Is our bed that comfy little one?" Gloria asked in a teasing tone, making bella turn red and shake her head
"Smells like you bo'th" She whispered and moved away a little picking up the tray with slight difficulty, making my eyes bulge out for a moment
"That's dangerous" I mumbled to Gloria who nodded in agreement "sorry, the tray took up too much space" She said sitting back down
"Don't ever do that again, it's way to heavy for you to carry honey, we don't want you getting hurt" I explained to bella in a stern voice
Her eyes widened slightly but she nodded nevertheless, her eyes glossing over a bit but she didn't say anything
"Call one of the guards or maids next time please little one" Gloria added softly, making her nod again
She went all quiet, tugging at a lone thread from her jeans and looking up every couple of seconds
"We're not mad darling, I know today's not been too fun has it?" I asked softly, using my caregiver tone as Gloria prefers to call me
"How about you change into something comfy and lay down baby? We can stay for another 15 minutes approximately" Gloria said, she looked tired and a nap would definitely make her feel better
"My clothes?" She asked in a whisper, finally making eye contact with us "go to the closet, my clothes are on the left side, and shorts should be on the second drawer" Gloria explained softly with a smile
She nodded and got up, taking her phone with her and set it on then small cupboard, she pointed to the second drawer on the right side making me smile, she's close to slipping again
"Left side darling, the other way" I said, she turned red again making a 180 and opening the right drawer, pulling out one of Gloria's shorts
It was a light blue one, the colour looked weird to Gloria so she refused to wear it again, I guess it's being put to good use again
I was thinking she was gonna go to the bathroom to get changed, but she unbuttoned her jeans right on call with us and stepped out of it with a little struggle and put on the shorts her pull up still there from morning
She tried to tie the drawstring, but it just wasn't working out for her "honey, leave the strings, it's okay" Gloria said making her look at us and nodding
She picked up her jeans, putting it on the laundry basket and went back to our bed laying down right in the middle, Duke was laying near the foot of the bed
"Close your eyes sweetheart, you're paci and ted are on my Side table" I said, she nodded again reaching over and pulling both things on the bed
The paci went straight into her mouth and Ted close to her chest as usual, she stared at us with sleepy eyes, fluttering close every couple of seconds
"Shhh close your eyes baby girl, we'll be back soon" Gloria whispered, looking at the guard with slight annoyance who said we got 5 minutes left
Both of us talked softly to each other, flashing bella a small smile, every time she opened her eyes and looked at us, by the end of 5 minutes she was fast asleep
With a heavy heart I ended the call and we made our way towards our last destination
Bella Pov
The last thing I remember was talking with Gloria and vivian on the phone, I felt like both of them were slightly mad at me....
They both said that they weren't.. But they sounded kinda mad and I didn't like it one bit
I changed into one of Gloria's shorts, those jeans were uncomfortable to sleep in anyways
I was happy that they could stay a little longer than before, I don't remember when the call ended
I could hear Duke's faint wines and soft voices speaking around me but I was too tired to open my eyes and actually see what was happening
"Hey sweet girl" I heard someone whisper softly, moving some hair away from my forehead
I grumbled a little, leaning into the warm hand, trying to get comfortable under the blankets again
"She awake?" Another voice said this time, making me cuddle further into the warmness "not yet, little one's had a long day" The previous voice said
Whoever it was, they were being too loud and I wanted to go back to my nice warm sleep
"It's wakey time darling, can I see those pretty eyes" It was vivi, vivi and ria came back! Just like they promised...
I knew, the logical part of me knew that they would keep the promise they made to me and be back after my nap
But a small part of me was still doubtful, because of my part events, a part of me still doubted and was worried that I was going to wake up all alone in here
"Vivi? Ria?" I asked softly, shifting to lay on my back and opening my eyes a little bit
"It's us baby, did you have a good nap" Gloria asked, she was sitting besides me and half of my body was snuggled into her
So she was the warm thing I was snuggling into, I sat up super fast looking at them twice making sure they were actually here
The tears honestly came out of know where and I threw myself at Gloria, hiding into her neck and sobbing loudly
I don't think either of them expected crying to be in the reaction, but Gloria pulled me on her lap properly and held me close
"Shhh baby, what's got you all worked up hmm? It's all okay, we're here" I heard her whisper into my ear and I shook my head
Tears still leaking off my eyes and occasional sobs coming out, I turned around looking at vivian too, cause I didn't want either of them mad at me
"Didn't mean to be b'ad.... No be mad" I mumbled in between sobs, but their expressions told me that they heard me
"Sweetheart who said we're mad? Hmm you've been such a good girl, we are both so so proud of you" Vivian said in all seriousness
"No mad?" I asked again, glancing between both of them, and watched as they rapidly shook their head and Gloria kissed my head from back making me lean back into her
"Come here darling, I want a cuddle too" Vivian said with a pout on her lips, I giggled a little and looked at Gloria who nodded helping me slide off her lap
"My little darling" Vivian cooed gently at me, lifting me up in her arms and standing up, she rocked us both softly, swaying us
Usually it makes me sleepy, but right now I just wanted to be close to both of them and I happily cuddled into her neck, being all cuddled up with her calmed me even more
"Are you exited for the ball sweetheart?" Ria asked walking towards us and smiling at me "uh huh, gran'parents" I replied
I reached out my arms towards her and within seconds I was shifted into her arms, I nuzzled again into her neck, closing my eyes in content
"We got you sweetheart" I faintly heard ria whisper and I nodded absolutely agreeing with her
"Now are we ready to meet your grandparents and have a wonderful time at today's ball?" Vivian asked in a exited tone making me perk up
"Uh huh! Haf fun!" I said happily, bouncing a little on her lap and nodding eagerly
"Let's go baby, they're very exited to meet their grandchild" I nodded, pointing to the bed, paci and Ted were still there and I wanted them too
"You're paci and Ted darling? Shall we take them too?" Vivian asked making me smile big and nod
"Pl'ease" I said softly, making both of them smile and ria kissed my cheek gently "such good manners sweetheart" She whispered making me blush a little
After I had both my paci and Ted, we made our way towards one of the rooms I've never been to, still safely tucked in ria's arms
So we're meeting the grandparents in the next chapter! Anything that should happen with them? Also the Royal ball is here!!! But not everything goes as expected, stay tuned
Ps - It was my birthday a couple of days ago and I'm a year older now! Yayy and I also have exams going on which isn't great... But I've already planned out the next chapter so updates will be as usual on Tuesday!
