Vivian Pov
As soon as we entered our room, bella dashed for the bed and flopped on it, Ted like usual tucked in her arms
"Do you need the potty sweetheart?" I asked gently, she had woken up dry which was unusual and I wanted her to use the washroom before we head to the ball
She sat up and nodded furiously, jumping up from the bed and coming towards me "gotta potty" She said, realising her desperation
I grabbed her hand and led both of us to the bathroom, taking ted from her and gently nudging her towards the toilet "don go" She whispered hurrying towards the toilet
"I'll stay right here baby" I said softly, turning to look the other way to give her some privacy, she finishes her business in a few minutes and flushed the toilet
"Good job sweetheart, let's wash our hands" Together I helped her wash her hand and we came back into the room too see gloria sitting on the semi made bed with the gift bag we got for Isabella
"We got you a little something while we were out" Gloria said with a smile, patting the spot beside her asking bella to come sit
"A present?" She asked looking back and forth between me and Gloria, slowly moving to sit beside her
"Yes darling a present for you" I replied softly, sitting down on the other side so she was sandwiched between us "what's it?" She asked her voice a little excited now
"Go ahead and open it bub" Gloria smiled handing her the gift bag, she nodded hesitantly and very carefully looked into the bag, making her way out of the flurry ruffles and pulled out a set of blocks, and colouring books along with a largest pack of crayons one could imagine
"Fo'r me?" She asked, her voice a mere whisper and it really broke my heart to see her like that, that it was hard for her to believe anyone would buy something for her
Both of us nodded our heads softly, her face broke into a big smile as she looked through the colouring book "I take it you like it sweetheart?" Gloria asked softly
"Mhmm! Love it..." Last part was whispered softly, I barely heard it, but it made me smile even bigger
"I'm so happy you like it sweetheart, shall we start to get ready for the ball?" I asked crouching down in front of her, making her nod her head rapidly
"How about we put all the stuff in the bag again and I'll ask someone to take it to your room and we can play with it tomorrow alright?" Gloria said softly, and started putting stuff back in the bag once she nodded
"Pro'mise gonna play later?" She asked looking up at both of us, making sure that her stuff was not going to disappear, "I promise honey" Gloria assured her with a smile taking the bag and kissing her forehead
"You okay to start getting her ready? I'm just gonna make sure everything is okay downstairs real quick" I asked Gloria, sitting beside bella and smiling when she leaned into me
"Sure babe, I got her, hurry back" She replied back, coming over and pecking my lips softly and replacing my spot beside bella
"Vivi goin?" She frowned, tugging out her paci her pout even more evident now "I'll be back in a little bit baby, start getting ready with Gloria" She nodded softly her face saddening a little bit watching me go
Isabella pov
I was getting ready for the ball with Gloria, vivian had gone out to check something and Gloria tried her best to cheer me up by tickling me and poking me occasionally
I was sitting in just a pull up and a tang top, waiting for Gloria to come out of the closet with our dresses
"Here we are darling, you're gonna look absolutely precious in this my sweet girl" She came back holding 3 dresses
Two dresses that were in one hand were extremely elegant and very formal, i'm assuming they were for both of them because they complement each other really nicely
On her other hand was a flowery dress, which seemed to perk my attention and it was a lighter than both of the other dresses and looked shorter too
"Mine momma?" I asked softly, making her look at me a slightly shocked expression before breaking into a really big grin, her eyes glossing over for a brief second "indeed it is sweetheart, you like it? "
She raised my dress which was a shorter one with frills and I nodded my head rapidly, momma placed the other dresses on the bed and made me stand up
She gently put the dress on me, helping me put my arms and head through the correct holes and put it on me
Just as I finished getting the dress on, the door opened and vivian came in making me jump slightly in excitement "lookie mama!" I exclaimed skipping over to her
Her eyes teared up a little bit which freaked me out a little bit and I looked back at Gloria not knowing what to do "it's okay honey, mama's just really happy" Vivian replied softly opening her arms and letting me crash into them
"And you look absolutely precious sweetheart, are you wearing shorts under there?" She asked curiously lifting me up and making me shake my head
"I thought it would be better to go without shorts in case she needed the bathroom, although she is wearing a pull up just in case" Momma said coming over to me and mama
Mama set me on the bed and pressed a soft kiss to my nose making me scrunch it up, and handed me a picture book
"Sit here while me and momma get ready okay, we'll be leaving in under 30 minutes" Mama said tucking ted in my arms and making sure I was alright before going to the closet with momma to change
I happily read though the book about dinosaurs, reading out a couple of words to Ted to make sure he understood everything too! And he really liked the book
"Hey baby, it's about time we get going little one" Momma said softly scooping me up from the bed and setting me on floor
Mama helped me put on a pair of plain white sandals which went along with my dress and momma clipped my paci to my dress with a paci clip which was almost the same colour as my dress,
I didn't know why momma had to clip it.. "Just so paci doesn't get lost darling" She cooed softly and straightened out my dress one last time
"Remember darling, everything is going to be a little loud but just tell me Or momma if something or someone bothers you or you need a little breather we'll go out" Mama said one last time, she's been repeating the same thing since last night
We walked out of the room to see four guards waiting for us, they escorted us to the main hall, as momma called it staying a good couple of feet ahead of us at times
The doors opened and it was really loud inside, I could see at least 15 people in the room and all attention was towards us as soon as we entered in the room
I subconsciously held on to both their hands tighter, looking around little nervous, and soon two people made their way towards us... I guess it was going to be a long night tonight
Kind of crappy I know.... I have exams going on so I haven't really had a chance to think of anything that's going to happen in the future.... BUT I felt that Isabella calling them momma and mama was due, and instead of making it into a huge big moment I made it to be a sort of a natural thing? To kind of explain that it just felt right for her to say that and it was nothing out of the ordinary? Does that make sense?
