Chunky Choco creeped towards the source of the noise, a rustling bush, her scarf made a knuckle-cracking motion as she got near it. Once she was close enough, her scarf reached out and spread the bush's leaves. A small coffee cake hound popped out to greet her.

The small coffee cake hound wagged his tail in glee.

Puppy nodded and pointed behind him, a light was approaching them, it came from a magic lantern belonging to one of Chunky Choco Cookie's friends. The lantern's light was just bright enough for them to be visible. The bearer of the magic lantern was Light Vanilla Cookie and walking by her side was the leader of the friend group, Black Coffee Cookie. The last member was Mocha Cookie, she sat on her flying teaspoon and swooped ahead of her two friends.

Mocha flicked her long white hair smacking Chunky Choco across face. Chunky Choco groaned in annoyance and crossed her arms, her scarf mimicked her action.

As Chunky Choco Cookie explained her situation with her two friends, Mocha Cookie had already left, flying off to her fancy tent to put away her teaspoon. She opened her tent and placed the flying spoon inside. When she turned around, she saw the Espresso look-alike and jumped back letting out a frightened shriek.

She caught the guest's attention, who looked at her in surprise. Mocha Cookie stared back in the same demeanor.

The small coffee hound suddenly ran up to the gang's new guest and started to sniff his leg. The crumbling cookie bolted up and stepped away from the dog.

He stood still and let the tiny hound sniff him and shifted his view to Chunky Choco Cookie.

The gang let the guest decide where the new tent was going to be set. After circling the area a bit, Crumbling Cookie decided to set the tent to the right side of the base, facing the campfire. And so Chunky Choco, Light Vanilla and Black Coffee set up the new tent. Mocha stayed behind to further question Crumbling Cookie about his limited memories

The Espresso Look-Alike walked to his new tent, it looked just like the other three, a cone shaped tent with an outer pancake covering. He went inside and was greeted with the pleasant scent of maple syrup which brought him a strange sense of comfort and déjà vu. Besides him was a rolled up sleeping bag ready to be used. He peeked his head out of the tent's door.

Everyone else exchanged their farewells and returned to their tents. Light Vanilla stoops confidently in front of the fire with a tight grip on her cane, looking at the dark horizon. Puppy sat beside her. They were ready to face whatever would disrupt the peace of this silent night.
