Yun Jin who decided to meet us again wanted to us about her new Opera play.
"What will it be about?" I asked.
"It will be called "The Divine Damsel of Devastation" about a young Damsel who was once abandoned by her family and cast out but became a hero and destroyer of monsters." Replied Yunjin.
Beidou and Yunjin both went to look for materials for the wondercore.
Shenhe followed us to find Master Zhang.
"Greetings Master Zhang, do you know how to make wonder core?" We asked polietly.
Paimon then launches an explanation about Ningguang rebuilding jade chamber and needing materials.
"I see." Replied Master Zhang, nodding, he then adds, "I can craft wondercores but I do need Starsplinter Iron and Subrosium." Replied Master Zhang.
"Where do we find that?" I asked.
"Go up Mt Tianheng for starsplinter iron, I'm not sure about subrosium though, might wanna ask around." Suggested Master Zhang.
We went up Mt. Tianheng.
The Starsplinter iron was easily found, but we had to ask and look around for the subrosium.
Up ahead was an old-looking village we came across.
A few houses looked abandoned.
Yunjin kept telling Shenhe about her opera play.
"I remember my father brought me to this little village when I was little." Began Yunjin.
"Is that so?" Asked Shenhe, curious.
"Yes, this small village brought inspiration to my father's operas." Explained Yunjin.
"Interesting." Replied Shenhe.
We continued asking around the villagers.
"She would be a brave girl who saved her village!" Yunjin explains.
"The girl is not as brave as you think." Shenhe muttered, slightly looking sad.
That afternoon
"Hello Xiansheng, I am Shenhe, do you know where subrosium is?" Asked Shenhe as we introduced ourselves.
"Shenhe?! You're alive?!" Asked the man named Mingjun, shocked.
"Wait you remember me-" Began Shenhe, surprised.
"You are alive and the rumors are true!" Exclaimed Mingjun.
"I-" Began Shenhe.
"Thank goodness! I remember you were so young when you battled these monsters-" Began Mingjun.
Shenhe decided to stay back with Mingjun and reminicence old times together.
"Wait, I might know where it is, there was a book or a diary perhaps, scattered across this mountain, hopefully the pages are still there, which point to the direction of the subrosium." Explained Mingjun.
We nodded and took the clues he gave us.
Paimon flew behind Yunjin and me hurriedly as we climbed further up Mt. Tianheng.
We collected a page each from a scattered diary
"My father needs to revise this..." Muttered Yunjin as she found a the first and second pages of the supposed diary.
"Hmm?" I asked.
"Yes, she was a courageous damsel, but was also forced to fight." Sighed Yunjin.
"Well at least now we know the truth." I replied.
And then I noticed the third page, it was next to a group of treasure hoarders.
I took out dawnbreaker and Yunjin took out her spear.
Slash! Swipe!
After we sent the treasure hoarders running, we were able to retrieve the third page.
It pointed to the location of Subrosium.
We followed the route and there it was, the Subrosium.
"Xiao?!" I asked, surprised to find my adeptus here.
"Y/N." Greeted Xiao, as he stared at me.
"Xiao what are you doing here?" I asked.
"I will prepare for the danger to come, and will not be involved unless I have to." Replied Xiao.
"Another contract?" I asked, shocked.
"Yes." Nodded Xiao.
"Good luck." I replied.
"Thanks." Replied Xiao.
"I'll see you later tonight." I say to Xiao.
"See you." Replied Xiao.
Yunjin who stood behind us looked shocked.
"Wait you know the Conqueror of Demons?!" Yunjin asked.
"Yeah, and they are together!" Chirped Paimon.
I flicked Paimon across the air, causing her to almost smack into Xiao.
Xiao took out his spear, and gently swatted Paimon back into the air.
"PAIMON's NOT A BALL!" Yelled the fairy angrily.
Xiao didn't reply and continued staring out at the sea.
"Let's go guys, let's not disturb Xiao." I began as we walked away.
Jade chamber
We returned to Liyue harbor to craft the wondercores and adeptal sigils with Shenhe's help.
Yunjin follows us as we went to show Ningguang the items and quartz we brought.
Ningguang smiles as her secrataries calculated the measurements and weight of the things we brought.
"Congradulations, You won, Y/N." Smiled Ningguang.
"Great job, Y/N, now you can ask me three questions." Replied Ningguang.
"My first question is did you ever find any leads on my brother, Aether or have an idea where he went?" I asked, curious.
Ningguang gave a sigh, with a slightly dissapointed look," I am sorry, I haven't found any leads regarding your brother," she apologizes.
"Now Paimon do you have any questions?" Ningguang asks Paimon.
"Yes, Paimon was wondering if we do run into financial trouble..." Began Paimon.
"That you need not worry, if you ever need financial assistance, I will pay you the highest cost possible and you do not need to return the mora, because you have already done so much in Liyue, and even helped me re-build the jade chamber." Replied Ningguang.
"Thank you, Ningguang Da ren." Paimon and U replied.
We then turn to Shenhe, "Shenhe do you have any questions?" Paimon asks her.
"Well-I." Began Shenhe hesitantly.
"You helped us find these items required to rebuild the jade chamber, might as well ask your question." I suggested.
"Alright, It's just... Will I ever fit in and belong here, in Liyue harbor, the mortal realm?" Asked Shenhe, curious.
"Of course you can, because in case if you haven't noticed Shenhe, just from adventuring with those two friends and exploring Liyue, you have already developed a key sense of belonging here." Ningguang explains solemly as she points at Shenhe's heart.
"Thank you." Replied Shenhe, looking relieved.
"You're very welcome." Ningguang replied as she smiled at Shenhe.
"HELLO! Preperations are done!" Called a pirate lady's voice suddenly.
"Wait what preperations?" I asked curious.
"It would be better if you didn't know." Replied Ningguang with a sigh.
"Huh?!" I asked as the jade chamber slowly rose into the sky.
"We're going up!" Yelled Beidou as she stood next to Ningguang.
Suddenly a stormy wind and waterspout swung in.
"NO!" I yelled.
