Y/N'S POV
july 26, 1982 9:30 am
I woke up to find myself tucked in my bedsheets, I look over to the clock to see what time it was and got out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my hair once I was done I came out to go downstairs seeing if my dad was still home since it was a Friday beforeI went downstairs I saw the pictures me and Mike took last night and thought how fun it was last night, I smiled and went downstairs still in my pyjamas
"Good mornin' sweetie!" My Dad said happily while handing me a plate of bacon and eggs and toast on the side "Good morning" I replied still a bit sleepy "Still tired? long day yesterday?" He asked also handing me some coffee or tea *you chose* Yeah. it was a long day alright I fucking kissed your coworker's son but I'm complaining, I had a lot of fun yesterday "Yeah, me, Cj, Mike and some of his friends went swimming in a river all day til like nine" I replied to him, taking a bite of eggs "Also Michael invited us to go have dinner at his house today" I added taking a sip of my coffee/tea "Sure, I would love to but I'm sorry I have to get going to work the dinner is going to be really busy today" He smiled and patted me on my shoulder and left, he's always busy with work. "Oh okay, bye Dad!" I said "Bye sweetie!"
After eating I decided to go for a walk, since it was pretty cold out this morning I just wore gray sweatpants with a old white university sweatshirt that was my dad's in the sixties or fifties *your dad was born in 1937* and for shoes I wore my faded black converse, god I really need to get a new pair soon, maybe next year anyway I grabbed the keys, ten bucks and left
I ended up just biking to the gas station and got a bag of my F/N candys and when I left I ran into Cj walking back to her house, maybe leaving Andrew's house "Hey Y/N" She said happily as I hop off my bike "Hey!" I replied holding my bike beside me "So... what did you and Michael do last night~" She said with a smirk "Don't tell me he just left you to go home" She added "Why are you so into this relationship me and him have?- We aren't even dating yet!" I laughed "What! you guys are not even dating? what did you even do last night then!?" She said with her eye wide "A facemask, talked, listen to music and cuddled.. why? Oh and he left the house around twelve" I replied as we walked into her driveway "I'm also having dinner at his house tonight" I added "Oh my god, you guys better be dating by tomorrow I swear to god if you're not!" She sarcastically complaint "I swear I'll tell you everything that happens after! even if you like you can help me pick out a outfit!" As I said now stoping to stay in place since I didn't plan on going inside "I would love too but I'm going to be quiet busy today, but that doesn't mean that you're not telling me everything once you get home!" She said before walking inside her house and waving goodbye and I did the same and pick up my bike and left her driveway to go home
MICHAEL'S POV

My mum was helping me styling my hair so it would look somewhat more puffy but clean but also not too clean, I told her everything what was going to happen well what I had planned "Is this good?" She asked putting down the comb "Yup, thank you ma" I replied in a soft tone before leaving the bathroom
"Also try to wear something more clean if you're planning to ask her out in front of her father!" She added "Shh! I don't need Liz or Evan knowing!" I whisper yelled and quickly turned back around to face my mum "Don't need me knowing what!" Liz jumped in front of me, oh god. "Nothing!" I awkwardly laughed and ran to my room
Now I need to decide what to wear, A band t shirt? no, that's not 'clean' enough well proper a button up, no I'm not trying to be my father here. Hm, this white plan baggy t shirt? I held it up and look at it, "Yeah it will do" I said out loud and tossed it on my bed and some blue jeans will be fine too
I look over to the clock too see that the time was ' 5:14 pm ' and Y/N said she would be here at five thirty "Why are you so dressed up, your always a dirt bag" My father asked looking at me though my door, okay I'm just trying not to look like you all dressed up and prude all the damn time "I don't know" I shrugged "Also D/N and Y/N will be here soon" I added "I know, I just got off the phone with D/N, I want you to be in your best behaviour Michael" He said in a bitchy tone and left, wasn't I the one to invite the L/Ns over? no shit I'm going to be on my 'best behaviour' I'm literally planning on asking Y/N to be my girlfriend

Me and my Dad finally pulled into the Afton's driveway, my dad didn't get home till five and was basically rushed to get ready while I had all the time in the world, I decided to wear a white tennis shirt, a navy blue sweatshirt over the shirt with a black skirt and white socks that stood below my knees also wearing some doc martens and wore my gold necklace that had a pendant on it with my initial carved it that my Dad gave me a couple years back, fancy outfit but it was pretty also my hair was styled like I always do it
"Ah Y/N, D/N it's great to see you two on this fine evening!" Willam said answering the door and let us inside and then my Dad and Willam went to the living room to have there own conversation
"mm~ you look beautiful today like always Y/N" Michael whisper into my neck while hugging me from behind, I turned around to face him "Thank yo- Oh my god! did you take time to style your hair today?" I gasped and played with his hair "Ha well, ergh.. my mum helped me out a bit" He laughed
Speaking of Clara, "Oh Y/N dear! It's great to see you, I've missed you!" Clara said happily to me walking out from the kitchen "Do you mind helping me set up the table? I have some questions to ask!" She added and quickly glance at Mike "Michael, sweetheart how about you go hang out with Liz and Evan for a bit and we'll call you down when supper is ready?" She said to him in a kind tone then look back at me, all Mike did was nod and left with a small smile, wow? no complaining that's quite surprising then me and Clara walk off to the dining room and started to set up
"So, how are you and Michael doing?" She look up to me after placing down a plate and I immediately blush "You know, he talks about you.. a lot, all good things of course!" She smiled
He talks about me? "Well- Um we're doing great! I hung out with him yesterday" I said, oh god I made that sound like we're dating "Sweetheart-" She giggled "He told me you two have kissed" Oh so I guess he does talk about me a lot."He's been basically fan girling over you, he'll never admit it though" She laughed happily "Oh well um- I mean we have kissed- I like him." I said blushing and awkwardly chuckled "No need to feel uncomfortable dear, I'm glad he's happy with you!" She patted me on the shoulder
"Dinner is ready!" Clara went to call out for everyone to hear

"Sorry if my mum said everything that made you uncomfortable" I said to Y/N softly holding her hip while grabbing food at the kitchen and she was doing the same "Oh no! she didn't! I love your mother!" Y/N happily said and smiled "Oh good!" I smiled as we walk to the table, I sadly had to let go of her hip since everyone was in the dining room "Finally the love birds are here!" Liz said pretty loud "Sweetie what have I told you to stop teasing Michael about Y/N" My mum said to her softly putting a hand on Liz's I was sitting beside Y/N while everyone was eating and my parents talking to D/N, I ended laying my hand on Y/N thigh and she slowly look over to me wide eyed, blushing and I smirk and then she look back to her plate
"So, D/N I have a question for you sir,-" I started to say "Yes Michael?" He turned over to me with a smile "-in the past couple weeks of getting to know your daughter, I have really gotten close with her and have enjoyed every minute I have with her and-" When I say everyone was looking at me wide eyed I fucking mean it. "-I wanted to ask you if you will let me be her boyfriend." I said confidently, this is going to be embarrassing if he says no "I KNEW IT-" Liz tried to say but my mum put her hand on her shoulder
"I would love for you to be her boyfriend Michael, but really it's up to her" D/N said smiling then I turned over to Y/N who had the cutest smile on her face and was still blushing "Yes!" She said fast but happily and gave me a hug and I did too "I'm happy for you, Son." My father said in a somewhat happy tone "She's a great girl for you." He added "Thank you father" I smiled then turn back to Y/N "OH MY GOD THERE DATING! Mikey and Y/N sitting in a tree! k-i-s-s-i-n-g!" Liz cheered "Liz can you not" I asked looking over to her "Fine! But I knew this would happen!" She laughed
Before I knew Y/N and D/N had to go, I'll probably see them tomorrow anyway which I'm happy for, I called the boys to tell them and they were happy for me and I had the biggest smile on my face for the hole night. I can't wait to see her tomorrow and for the days to come I wonder things will work out for us. I'm finally dating the girl I like, she isn't just some girl that move her three weeks ago, she's funny, energetic, beautiful and awesome to hang out with and a good kisser if I say so I'm so happy I met her, she's honestly the best, thank you for moving here Y/N L/N, you're the best girlfriend I could ever ask for.
finally you guys are dating now! okay anyway ima speed up the story now a bit since that happened so like get ready for a shit load of drama, gore, heartbreak, sports and some new characters coming, I have a lot in plan so yeah get ready to cry
