MICHAEL'S POV
June 10th, 1983
8:13 pm

Soon as I hit the water it felt like a slap across the face, I was under water for at least ten seconds and quickly got up looking around for Y/N

"Boo!" She laughed as she jumped behind and splashed me with some water "Holy shit!-" I jumped "-Are you alright?" I asked in a worried tone "Yeah I'm fine!" She laughed as me and her went to the surface "That could've been dangerous you know." I sighed as I wrapped my arm around her waist "Yeah but I'm fine Mike, see?" She said happily as she kissed me on the cheek

Maybe I was just to worried about her getting hurt or I was just over thinking it? well every since what happened with Evan and what my dad told me he did, I've always been on guard and I never really feel safe around anyone or anything but Y/N and I don't need her getting hurt, ever.

The rest of the group came down to meet us and we just hung out for the rest of the night

"Alright I'm gonna go home with Andrew now, have a good night guys" Cj said in a sleepy tone "Yeah, have a good night" Andrew added as they both got up and left as me and the other three said bye 

"Okay I hope you don't mind Y/N but I'm gonna go stay the night at Jeremy's house if that's okay with you" As Kaitlyn faced to say to Y/N "Yeah no worries!" Y/N smiled as she quickly looked at me with a smirk on her face and I returned the smirk then look over to Jeremy, keeping the smirk on my face "Alright you guys have a good night~" Y/N teased the both of them as we all packed up and left, it was about eleven at night

"Hey Y/N?" I look over to face her as me and her walked home "What's up?" She replied as she face me with a smile "You think I could stay the night?" I asked "Yeah of course! it will just be you and me since B/N is out for the night too" She said in a happy tone as I nodded and smiled in return

Y/N'S POV
June 10th, 1983
11:43 pm

Once me and Mike finally got home we un packed and got ready for the night, luckily he brought a pair of gray jogging shorts but that was it

"Hey do you mind if I can take a quick shower?" He asked "Yeah for sure, there should be towels in there" I said softly as I got my pyjamas out "Alright thanks" He replied as he kissed me on the cheek, after he left I got changed, I decided to wear plaid pyjama shorts with a gray baggy t shirt

After five minutes Michael came back in his shorts but was shirtless and also his hair was wet

I walked over to him and wrapped my hands around his neck "Hey wanna watch a movie?" I said as I looked up to him "Of course!" He said as he nodded with a smile then we went over to lay on my bed as we picked out what moive to watch

"Hey Y/N?" Michael asked from behind me, I was laying on his chest "What's up?" I asked as I took the remote to pause the movie and look up to him "Where do you think we would be if you never went to Evan's party?" He asked as he look at me in the eyes, I sighed as I tried to think of what to say "Honestly Mike, I don't know." I said, I kinda felt bad that I gave him that answer

"Like, what would've happened if you never went but found out what I did to Evan?" He asked again "You mean what happened? Michael you did nothing wrong, you didn't know that would've happened" I sighed as I move a piece of hair out of his face "Honestly Y/N- I think of that day ever single day just wondering how things would be if Evan didn't die like maybe Liz would still be talkative and maybe my mum and my father would look happy together and maybe my father wouldn't have k- treated me how he does now." He said and let out a long sigh

"You shouldn't blame yourself because what happened that day, you wouldn't have done it if you knew what would've happened, it's not your fault." I slightly frowned as I try to comfort him "Maybe I still would've been friends with Jack and Jacob and some other people and maybe Nora and Zara wouldn't hate me being with you" He added "Michael, you should be glad that your not friends with Jack and Jacob anymore, there dick heads and plus Jack is a creep and honestly I don't care what Zara and Nora think of you, I will always love you, no matter what Michael" I softly smile, he chuckled before he said anything

"I love you so much Y/N, I'm so glad you actually stay with him, I don't know what I would do with out you, I love you." He smiled as I went up to kiss him, not a long kiss but not to short either

After that I went back to laying on his chest as he played with my hair and went back to watching the movie, I saw Mike lean over to my bed side table as he grab my camera and laid it in front of me and rested his chin on top of my head "Smile" He said softly, I giggle a bit as he took two pictures "I'm taking one home" He laughed as he placed the camera back on my bed side table "You do that" I laughed in return

MICHAEL'S POV
June 11th, 1983

The movie was over now and Y/N fell asleep, I softly moved her to the side and pulled the blanket on top of her and tried to stay quiet as I tiptoe to the door to go sleep on the couch downstairs

"Why are you leaving?" She whined in a sleepy tone "I'm not, I'm gonna go sleep on the couch" I said "No. come here" She laughed "Are you sure?" I asked as I slowly walked back over to her bed "Yes, my bed is more comfortable than the couch anyway" She replied softly "Alright then, whatever you want" I smiled as she turned around and she cuddled into me as I wrapped my hands around her waist and we both fell asleep

This was the first time I felt safe and didn't need to be worried or on alert in a long time, with her and her only.
