When the team was finally done getting changed they came to the buses some were excited and some were nervous, especially Hinata
"You guys look so cute!" I said to them all and they all blushed except for Tsukishima he just had a disgusted look on his face
I can make a whole team blush but yet can't get one boyfriend
"I don't think cute is what we're going for," Daichi said with a laugh
"Is absolutely adorable better?" I said while pulling Hinata's cheeks
"Hinata you look especially cute," I said while still pulling his cheeks and he was trying to push me away
"Y/nnnn" he whined
"Whatttt," I said still pulling his cheeks
"Someone. Save me." He said while looking out at the team and the whole team were almost crying from laughter
"Ok Y/n come on," said Suga while pulling me away
"I guess I'll just pull Kei's cheeks," I said while running up to Tsukki
"Oh no you dont," he said while grabbing my wrists and walking backwards
"We're gonna be late" Said Coach Ukai smoking
"What will be the seat arrangements then?" Asked Tanaka while looking at Kiyoko probably hoping he'd get to sit next to her
"I'll sit next to Y/n," said Tsukishima and I stopped trying to grab his cheeks in shock
Why on earth would he want to sit next to me
"Why doesn't Ya-" I said before he used my wrist to pull me into him and wrapped his arm around the back of my neck and put his hand on my mouth
Everyone stared at us for a few minutes before Daichi said "Uh ok then" and everyone turned back to look at coach Ukai
"I don't care where you guys sit, do you Specs?" coach Ukai said while looking at Takeda
"Nope," Takeda said with a smile
We all got on the bus and Tsukishima practically forced me to sit next to him even though I tried to refuse. Do you really think I want to sit next to this guy for like half an hour? No way
"Kei, what is all this about?" I said while he shoved me to the window seat and sat down
"I don't want to sit next to Yamaguchi" he whispered in my ear
"You could have sat next to Yachi" I whispered back
"I'm not into awkward bus rides"
"So then why not sit next to Suga or like ANYONE else," I said looking around at everyone
"Y/n do you remember one of the first days we met and you said no one likes me? As much as I want to deny it... you were right" he whispered as he looked away
Guilt was all I felt. I remember the exact conversation he's talking about, word for word. I think about that conversation every so often because I feel so bad about it. I remember wanting to apologise to him but thinking he wouldn't care, I didn't know Tsukishima at all back then. It's weird to look back and see how much me and him have grown. How much our relationship has grown.
"I'm really sorry Kei. I've wanted to apologise to you like every day since it's happened but I always thought that you wouldn't care. Not everyone may like you Kei but not everyone matters, and for what it's worth... I like you," I said and a little smile appeared on his face
"Even though you shouldn't like me... of course you do," he said as his smile disappeared and he shook his head
"What do you mean?" I asked confused
"You're too kind to dislike me, not that everyone on the team isn't kind because they are but you could never hate anyone no matter what they have done or do to you," he said while looking at me and adjusting his glasses
I was kind of confused at what Kei said not because what he said didn't make sense but because he said it like it was a bad thing
Why would it be a bad thing? In my opinion I think it's a good thing
"Is that a good thing?" I asked eager to hear his opinion
"No, but it's a good thing for people like me"
"What do you mean?" I said acting dumb to hear more of his answer
"You don't deserve people treating you like shit Y/n," he said crossing his arms
"But you don't treat me like shit," I said honestly
"That's exactly what I mean"
"But I'm being honest, yeah it may not seem like it but I know you're not mean and at least you're not fake. You don't talk about me behind my back...well I think you don't, and you're honest towards me too like if you don't want me to do something you tell me and if I annoy you then you tell me and if I've done something wrong then you tell me, you're the realest person I know. Even if you don't show your positive emotions like the fact you care about your friends or enjoy spending time with them, you show it in other ways, deeper ways in my opinion. You're probably one of my favourite friends although I shouldn't really have favourites," I said while looking at Tsukishima every once in a while through my whole speech
After I was done with what I said Tsukishima just stared at me in silence and then I looked up at him and there was something different in his eyes I couldn't really tell what it was but I hope I get to see that look at least once again in this lifetime
He smiled before saying "Ew we're not friends and what other friends do you have besides the team?"
"Kei, I know I'm your best friend don't even try to deny it and I HAVE LOTS OF OTHER FRIENDS I'm just with the team most of the time so I don't really get a chance to talk to my other friends but I don't really mind because I love spending time with the team," I said trying to hide my smile and instead look angry
"I would rather feed MY nuts to a squirrel than ever be your best friend," He said and I looked up to him shocked and grossed out
"Do I want to know what kind of nuts you're talking about?" I said nervously
"Obviously hazelnuts," he said with a smirk as he rolled his eyes and I laughed
"STOP THE BUS" shouted Tanaka as we all looked back at him and saw Hinata throwing up all over him
The bus stopped and the whole team ran out
"HINATA, ARE YOU OK?" I asked Hinata as he stumbled out of the bus
"Yes" he replied as he walked up to Tanaka and continuously apologised to him and Tanaka was reassuring him that it was ok, as all that was going on Tsukishima was laughing
"Kei, shut up!" I said elbowing him in the ribs
"What? It's funny" he said as he held his ribs
"No, it's not! Poor Hinata" I said sadly as I looked at Yachi and Kiyoko making sure Hinata and Tanaka were ok
"What are we going to do?" I asked everyone
"The only option is that we have to get back on the bus, Aoba Johsai is too far away to walk," said coach Ukai
"Even though it smells like puke?" I asked worriedly
"Yes" he replied
"But it smells like puke," I said
"There's not much we can do Y/n," said Daichi with a sigh
"I have perfume!" I said happily
"That might make me throw up," said Tsukishima and I death glared him
"Your breath makes me want to throw up," I said as I faced Tsukishima
"Your face makes me want to throw up," he said facing me
"Guys we really don't have time for this," said Suga trying to calm us down
"Let me spray the bus with perfume," I said as I walked to the bus
I stepped onto the bus and almost threw up myself
"Nope nope, can't do it," I said as I turned around and ran out of the bus
"Don't worry Y/n I'll spray the bus with my perfume" Yachi said as she stepped on the bus
"I'm sorry Y/n," said Hinata as he came over to me still clutching his stomach
"No no, Hinata! it's not your fault, don't worry," I said trying to comfort him
"Are you okay?" I asked him as he looked up at me with a guilty face
"Yeah, don't worry," he said trying to put on a smiling face
"Ok, the bus is sprayed," Yachi said as she stood at the entrance of the bus
"Guys big question here, what are we gonna do with my pants?" Tanaka asked as he stared down at his pants
"Yeah, you're gonna have to take them off," said Takeda and we all laughed except for Hinata who just looked guilty
"Oh god," Tanaka said embarrassed
"Make sure you put them in a bag," I said to Tanaka as he walked to the bus and we waited outside as he got changed
"I'm really sorry everyone," said Hinata sadly
"Don't worry Hinata these things happen" said Daichi as he smiled at Hinata
"Yeah everyone gets first-time jitters," I said
"They're normal," said Suga as he put his hand on Hinata's shoulder
"Don't worry Hinata you'll do great" I said as I put my hand on Hinata's other shoulder and gave him a thumbs up
He took a deep breath and tried to give the whole team a big smile
"Do you think you'll be sick again?" I asked him
"Let's hope not" he said with a little laugh
"Ok done," said Tanaka as he stood at the entrance of the bus showing us his pants in a bag
"Ok time to get back on the bus everyone," said coach Ukai
We got back on the bus and it smelt like honey which I smiled at until Tsukishima forced me to sit with him again
We were sitting in peace for a while and I was almost drifting off to sleep until I noticed Tsukishima fiddling with his fingers and I looked up at him, I could tell that deep down Kei was excited to play even if he didn't show it, I also knew that because he was excited it made his emotions conflicted and when Kei is confused about his emotions he likes to listen to music
I wonder why he isn't listening to music maybe he didn't bring his headphones?
"Do you have your headphones?" I asked him and he snapped out of his trans and looked down at me
"Yeah, why?" He said confused
"Then why aren't you listening to them?" I asked in a confused tone as well
"I don't know I just think it's rude," he said with a shrug
"You can listen to music if you want,"
"Ok," he said while going to grab his headphones before I stopped him
"But only if I get to listen with you," I said while smiling at him
"I have headphones though," he said after rolling his eyes
"You really think that I don't carry around earphones with me," I said while pulling my earphones out of my pocket
"Fine, but I get to pick the music," he said while grabbing my earphones from me
"Better have good taste in music," I said while taking the earphone that is for me and putting it into my ear
"Obviously," he said while putting his earphone in and scrolling through his playlist
He accidentally put on a song that he never meant to while scrolling and I knew immediately that I recognised it
"OMG, I KNOW THIS SONG!" I said trying to think of the song
"Uh no," he said nervously and then it clicked in my head on what song it was
"ITS THE SONG THAT GOES LIKE 'she looks just like a dream, the prettiest girl I've ever seen' ISN'T IT?" I said with a smile
"No idea what you're on about," he said looking down at me trying to be a convincing liar
"You probably think about Yachi while listening to that song," I said as I was trying to stifle a laugh
"I hate you," He said while looking back down at his phone
"YOU DO DONT YOU?" I said surprised
"Do you really think my cold self thinks about a girl while listening to a song?" He said while looking down at me
"Yes, 100%," I said seriously

"I THOUGHT YOU FORGOT ABOUT THAT," he said annoyed

"Do you want to see a video I have of you?" He said with a smirk
"You have a video of me?" I said creeped out
"Yes," he said while looking back at his phone and going into his camera roll he then showed me a video of the day me and Kageyama were at the park
"You stalker," I said freaked out
"Uh no, I was just casually walking home and I saw little Y/n and Kageyama on a little park date and decided to get a video of you screaming because it's priceless," he said as he flicked me in the head
"Ow and it was NOT a date!" I said while rubbing my forehead
"Sure Y/n," he said
"Can you just play one of your stupid songs" I said while nudging him and he rolled his eyes and scrolled through his playlist
"I don't even like him anymore," I said after he put on a song
He examined my face for a few minutes and then said "you do, I can see it all over your face"
"I regret telling you," I said while leaning on the window in annoyance and looking out at all the other cars

"No, because I'm the only one who can relate to you"
"Relate to me about what?" I said looking at him confused
"Unrequited love," he said bluntly

"Yeah, but I'm the only one who will listen to you ramble on about Kageyama and YOU are Yachi's best friend so that means I can actually get somewhere with Yachi unlike you who has no chance of getting anywhere with Kageyama"
I know what he's saying is true but it still hurts
"Wow retract them claws pussy cat," I said crossing my arms and he laughed

"Maybe I won't help you with Yachi anymore," I said looking away

He was silent for a minute and I noticed that something was bothering him "it's just" he said while looking away before stopping himself

I looked behind and saw Yachi and Yamaguchi sitting together Tsukki then grabbed my head and turned me to the front
"Don't make it obvious you idiot" he said with a 'tch'

"Yachi and Yamaguchi sitting together?" I questioned smirking
"Shhhhh," he said with his finger on his lips
"God," I said while rolling my eyes
"You're so loud!" he said while narrowing his eyes at me madly
"Are you jealous Kei?" I said smirking

"Is that why you got so moody?" I said laughing
"I shouldn't have told you," he said crossing his arms
"Yeah you're right," I said with an evil smile
"Well you're lucky I did because I felt sort of bad because I was taking my anger out on you," he said nervously
"No, it's ok, you were right," I said looking forward
"Well as much as I hate to admit it I probably couldn't get close to Yachi if it wasn't for you," he said not looking at me
"I know," I said laughing
When we arrived at Aoba Johsai the team was getting ready and I was comforting Hinata
"It's okay. I'm worried about you! Are you feeling any better?" said Tanaka after Hinata apologised for the 100th time
"Yeah, I feel a little better," said Hinata trying to be positive
"Good. I'm glad, after all if we win or lose today it comes down to you," Tanaka said as he slapped Hinata's back and Hinata started freaking out again
I was about to say something until Suga popped out the entrance of the bus and told Tanaka off
"Stop pressuring him," Sugawara whispered
"What? I can't hear you" Tanaka said confused
"He said that-" I said until I got cut off by Hinata
"I'll do the best I can, I promise! I'm going to the bathroom" Hinata said as he started walking off and I followed after him
"Coming out both ends! You're working overtime" I could hear Tanaka shouting and Kageyama getting mad that Hinata was sick again
I really hope Hinata will be ok

"Hey, Hinata it's ok," I said as I started walking with him
"Sorry Y/n, I know you're trying to help but I really need to go to the bathroom," Hinata said as he started running off

As I was overthinking and feeling guilty about the fact I couldn't help Hinata, Tsukishima appeared
"Are you okay?" He asked me curiously
"Uh yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I said laughing
"Don't feel bad you couldn't calm him down Y/n, he's a big boy and he's gotta learn so don't worry," he said
"Can you read minds or something?" I said worriedly
"No, you're just predictable," he said with a smirk
"Since I'm so predictable you probably predicted me and you going to help the team unpack," I said with a smile
"Well no b-" he said before I cut him off by dragging him to the bus by his ear
We helped the team do the unpacking and stuff, to be honest, I didn't really know what I was doing, coach Ukai was just bossing me about and I was doing it, I think that's the only reason I'm still manager
"So we have everything then?" Kiyoko said as she had her weird board thing
"Yup," I said happily
"Ok, let's get going!" She said with a nervous smile
We all started walking off and as we were reaching the gym me and Tanaka heard what we assumed were people talking about him as they were describing someone as bald and a delinquent
"A delinquent?" Tanaka said confused
"Young people who commit petty crime," Tsukishima said as he and Kageyama walked over to us and joined us behind the wall
They then called Tanaka stupid so he popped his head out the corner to look at the people
"Act scary, Tanaka" I whispered to him
When Yamaguchi joined us we walked out from behind the wall and started staring at the two boys standing there
"Hello," one of the guys said nervously
"Don't mock my team bro, we'll have your heads" Tanaka said trying to seem scary and I looked up at him in awe
"Ha, come on Tanaka, there's no need to talk like that, I mean look what you've done, the hotshots from Aoba Johsai are practically shaking in their shoes," Tsukishima said and then I looked at him in awe before I realised who he was
"Wow, Kei actually sounds cool" I whispered and he looked down at me annoyed
"You idiots really think we're afraid of you?" The boy with the onion hairstyle said
"Well you should be," I said crossing my arms trying to be intimidating and the two boys laughed
"HEY! WHO ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?" I shouted at them. As I was about to walk up to them Tanaka put his hand on my shoulder to stop me and then moved me back a bit into Tsukishima and walked in front of me
"Oh yeah, good thinking Tsukishima, It will hurt more if we kick your asses on the court instead," Tanaka said with his scary face
Daichi then came out of the corner "HEY KNOCK IT OFF, I CAN'T TAKE YOU ANYWHERE" he shouted and I backed away not wanting to get in trouble
He then put his hand on Tanaka's head and forced Tanaka to bow while apologising to the two boys
We were about to walk off until the two boys said something to Kageyama
"So how you been your majesty? I bet you've already whipped your loyal subjects into shape" the onion looking one said
I got mad and was about to go over before Tsukishima grabbed my arm and forced me to stop I looked up at Tsukishima mad before he nodded his head over in Kageyama's direction and I looked back at Kageyama
We were all staring at him waiting for him to say something and I got nervous
"Uh-huh," Kageyama said before walking off
Suga and Tanaka slapped him on the back "ow what was that for" Kageyama asked
"You're growing up so fast," said Tanaka as he wiped a fake tear from his eye
"KAGEYAMA, WELL DONE," I said as I looked at him happily
"What did I do?" He asked confused
"YOU DIDN'T REACT TO THAT ONION GUY," I said excitedly and they all laughed at the nickname I gave him
"He definitely does look like an onion," said Tanaka while still laughing
"He probably smells like onions too," I said laughing
"He does smell like onions," said Kageyama and Tanaka was almost peeing himself from laughter
When we walked into the gym we stared at it in awe at how big it was and I admit, even I started getting a little intimidated
We bowed down and thanked everyone for having us and then Daichi started talking about how advanced Aoba johsai is and I started getting more nervous but then Tanaka kept on making Hinata more nervous and then made him not nervous but then made him nervous again which caused Hinata to go throw up AGAIN
"Oh god Tanaka," I said as I walked up to him
"What?" he said confused
"It's like you're trying to make him throw up," I said
"What I do?" He asked as we went to go sit down on a bench
"Telling him that the whole game depends on him makes him feel pressured," said Suga
"But... it does?" Tanaka said confused
"Tanaka, just go check on Hinata," Daichi said with a groan
"Finneeee" Tanaka said as he stood up from the bench and walked off
A few minutes later Tanaka returned just as the team was getting set up
"He threw up again," he said
"WHAT DID YOU DO?" I shouted
"Ok now I seriously don't know, I was making fun of onion guy," he said as he started getting ready
"So onion guy must of said something," I said annoyed
"I'll go check on Hinata! you guys practice" I said as I stood up
I walked around until I found the boy's toilets and stood outside waiting for Hinata, sadly onion guy wasn't there so I couldn't tell him off
I was waiting for a while and then Hinata stumbled out of the bathroom
"Hinata are you okay?" I asked and Hinata took a deep breath like he was contemplating telling me what was bothering him
"No, not really, what if I fail?" Hinata said sadly
"Look Hinata I know you feel worried and pressured but the teams got you're back and if you fail so what, you can learn from it and become better," I said to him as we started walking back
"What if they kick me off the team?" he said
"They would be stupid to do that, you have something valuable Hinata, something irreplaceable! You're a great player with a great team so don't stress so much!" I said and I could see that he was becoming less worried
"Thanks, Y/n," he said with a smile
"We are best friends!" I said smiling
"So what was onion guy saying to you? Was he underestimating you? I swear when I find him..." I said madly
"YOU THINK HE LOOKS LIKE AN ONION TOO?" Hinata said happily
"YEAH" I shouted back while laughing
"Well he was actually talking about Kageyama," Hinata said and I looked at him surprised
"What was he saying?"
"I don't know if I should tell you, I mean, I know you have a crush on Kageyama"
"YOU KNOW?" I said embarrassed
"Yeah you're not exactly good at hiding it," he said as he laughed
"OMG DO YOU THINK ANYONE ELSE KNOWS?" I said as my face started going red
"No, to everyone else it looks like you have a crush on Tsukishima"
"That's not any better," I said with a groan
We walked back into the gym and Daichi came over to Hinata and started encouraging him but somehow it just made him nervous again
"Oh no," I said as I looked at Hinata who was getting ready to play
"Do you think he'll pull through?" I said to Yachi as I sat down on the bench with coach Ukai and her. Suga and Yamaguchi and a few others were cheering the team on
"Let's hope so," she said nervously
The match started and I looked out at the opposite team I could tell they were talking about Hinata which made me annoyed until I spotted Iwaizumi I waved at him and he waved back but Oikawa was nowhere in sight
I took my phone out cautiously so that no one would see and started texting Oikawa

I was looking at Sugawara with a worried expression but he looked quite calm about it, Tsukishima and Tanaka started laughing at Kageyama and teasing him, Suga started shouting at them but they couldn't really hear him
They are really NOT helping the situation
Then Kageyama started walking over to Hinata as Daichi was trying to stop him but Kageyama ignored him, Hinata was trying to stop Kageyama but Kageyama just kept on walking closer to him I watched in anticipation and worry
But when Kageyama got to Hinata he didn't do anything he just started slapping his head
Ok weird but at least he didn't kill Hinata

Hinata was still freaking out until Tanaka started shouting at him
"Should we step in?" Takeda asked coach Ukai
"No, I think Tanaka's got this," said coach Ukai as he stared at the team
I was getting worried about the fact Tanaka was shouting at Hinata but then Tanaka started saying that Hinata was being stupid because the team has got his back

Me, Kiyoko and Yachi started handing out the water bottles and towels to everyone and they all rested except for Kageyama and Hinata who were discussing their quick attack

"What? It was funny" he said while shrugging and drinking his water
"Uh no, Hinata could have died," I said as I crossed my arms
"C'mon, admit it was a tiny bit funny," Tsukishima said looking at me with a little smirk
"Ok, maybe a tiny little minuscule bit," I said trying to hide the smile on my face

"Do you think Hinata will be ok next set?" I asked Tsukishima worriedly
"Yeah, I think Tanaka got through to him," he said as he wiped his towel on his face

"Is your little side piece Oikawa here?" He said as he looked over at the other team
"No, but he says he'll be here soon and HES NOT MY SIDE PIECE"
"But you guys text and everything"

"NO, you text me and I ignore you," Tsukishima said with a fake smile
"Whatever," I said as I rolled my eyes
"Are you feeling less guilty?" Kei asked me as he looked down at me while drinking his water

"You never needed to feel guilty yknow" he said as he adjusted his playing glasses
"Thanks I guess, I just feel like a bad friend," I said nervously
"You're not, far from it actually," he said as he looked at me every now and then to see my reactions. My heart for some reason skipped a beat at his words.

The second set started and the whole team was feeling more positive as Hinata was no longer worried anymore
I watched the match and didn't really understand what was going on even though me, Yachi and Takeda read a book about volleyball the other day. I was just kind of watching them run around, I cheered when we scored a point and was sad when we didn't
We were halfway through the second set and we were winning by 1 point when the whistle went and it was time for a break and before I knew it I was back handing out towels and water bottles again
"You guys were so good!" I shouted as they were all sat down resting
"Thanks y/n," said Daichi with a smile as he looked up at me
"There were so many booms and bangs and wooshes," I said excitedly
"DID YOU SEE ME, Y/N!!!" Hinata said excitedly as he looked up at me from the bench
"YEAH, YOU WERE SO COOL!" I said happily as I walked over to him
"I don't even know what's going on half of the time but I know you guys are doing great!" I said as I gave them all a thumbs up and they all blushed
"Yeah well, we've got a lot to improve on," said Tsukishima as he drank his water
"Don't be a negative Nelly" I said to Tsukishima as I sat down next to him
He rolled his eyes at me and I looked over at the other team
"They're probably shitting their pants right now," I said with a laugh
"I hope onion head has diarrhoea then," said Tanaka and I laughed at what he said
While me and Tanaka were laughing and making fun of the other team Tsukishima started picking on Hinata again as he shoved his water bottle in Hinata's face
"Kei, leave him alone," I said as I took Tsukishima's water bottle away
"It's just some fun Y/n," he said as he rolled his eyes
"I guess letting you dehydrate is fun as well," I said as I smiled and started drinking Tsukishima's water bottle
"I'm burning that bottle," he said as he looked at the water bottle disgusted
"Well I'm burning my tongue," I said as I realised what I had just done
I've basically kissed Kei

The whistle then went and the whole team went back onto the court
We're on the second half of the second set already and Oikawa still isn't here
I wonder what's going on
Kageyama and Tsukishima were bickering about the way Kageyama set or something while me, Suga and a few other people were cheering them all on until Suga started explaining the rotations
"So that means Kei and Kageyama are gonna be next to each other," I said nervously as Suga was done explaining it
"Yup," Suga said
"I'm actually surprised they've been able to survive this long next to each other," I said nervously as I looked out at the team and saw Kageyama and Tsukishima nudging each other and Daichi shouting at them
"At least we're winning," said Suga as he pointed at the scoreboard we were winning 24:22
"WE ONLY NEED ONE MORE" I shouted happily
And just like that, we scored another point and AGAIN I was handing out towels and water bottles
These sets really go quicker than what I had pictured
"YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING" I shouted happily
"TELL ME MORE Y/N, SHOWER ME WITH MORE COMPLIMENTS," Tanaka said happily
As I was about to compliment him more I heard squeals from girls up above
"They've been there the whole time?" I said embarrassed as I looked up at the girls in case I embarrassed myself by shouting too loud or laughing weirdly
"I've never noticed them," said Tanaka as we looked to where the squeals were coming from
"Why are they squealing? It's annoying," said Tsukishima as he put his fingers in his ears
"Over there," said Suga as he pointed at the entrance
"Oikawa?" I said as I looked to see who just walked in
"THAT'S Oikawa?" Tanaka said annoyed
I looked over at Kageyama and saw how angry he was I walked over to him to see if he was ok
"Are you okay?" I asked him nervously
"Yeah that guy just bugs me," he said annoyed
I could see Oikawa waving at the girls from upstairs and I rolled my eyes
"It might just be because this guy got all the ladies' attention but I already hate him," Tanaka said while pointing at Oikawa
"He's not as bad as he seems," I said nervously
"He's seijohs team captain," said Daichi as he appeared behind us
"Wait OIKAWA is the team captain?" I said surprised
"Yeah," said Daichi as he drank his water
"Cheeky bugger never told me that," I said as I crossed my arms and looked at Oikawa
"I say we sacrifice Y/n to him," Tanaka said as he started pushing me towards Oikawa
"HEY I THOUGHT YOU DIDNT WANT ME TO BE TAKEN," I said as I turned around to Tanaka annoyed
"Not permanently, just like...I don't know, go up to him and slap him for me?" He asked, before I could reply, Oikawa popped up from behind me
"Hiya Y/n," he said and I turned around
"You're late you know, I didn't expect tardiness from you Oikawa," I said as I looked up at him
"HEY I WAS INJURED AND HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO CALL ME TOORU," he said as he pointed at his knee
"Wait you were hurt," I said confused as I looked down at his knee worriedly
"Uhm yeah," he said with a nervous laugh as he rubbed his neck
"WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME?" I shouted
"Yeah I'm going to randomly text you one day and say I injured myself," he said as he rolled his eyes
"I could have come to visit you, idiot! I love hospital food" I said with a smile when I thought about the hospital food
"Don't worry Y/n, you already visit me in my dreams"
"Tooru you are really not making a good impression," I said as I facepalmed
"You called me Tooru! This is probably the best day of my life" Oikawa said as he went in to hug me but then he looked behind me and his expression changed into a scared one before his cocky smile came back onto his face
He turned away from me and went up to Kageyama I stared nervously at them and hoped Oikawa would be kind
"Hey Kageyama, long time no see," he said as he waved at Kageyama
"Wow you have really grown," Oikawa said but Kageyama just ignored him and continued to whisper to Hinata about how powerful Oikawa is
"That's like a really weird thing to say," I said to Oikawa
Before he could respond his coach told him to go and warm up but before he left he winked at me and I laughed
Oikawa you're such a knucklehead
I had felt a dark presence behind me ever since Oikawa tried to give me a hug and ignored it but it actually started to really annoy me so I turned around to see who it was

"I really don't like that guy," Tsukishima said as he stared at Oikawa
"You don't like anyone," I said to him
"True, but I REALLY don't like him," he said as he angrily sipped his water bottle
"Why?" I asked him confused
"Uh I don't know, what if he tries to do anything with Yachi, he seems like a playboy," he said weirdly like he was panicking
"Yeah I don't think you've got to worry about him in that department, Oikawa doesn't date"
"Hmm," he said I then looked him in the face as he drank from his water bottle and then I realised that he was drinking from his water bottle
"Do you not remember that I drank from that?" I said and then he spat his water all over me
"KEI, WHAT THE HELL" I shouted and everyone in the gym looked at me and I could feel my face going red from embarrassment
Tanaka, Kageyama and Hinata started laughing while Tsukishima stared at me in fear
"You're so dead," said Tanaka through laughs
"She's gonna murder you," said Kageyama as he slapped his knee in laughter
I was going to say something to Tsukishima but instead I just evil eyed him and stormed off to the bathroom with Yachi following behind me
"What am I gonna do?" Tsukishima asked the team
"Not only did you spit water on her but you done it in front of SO many people," said Tanaka still laughing
Oikawa noticed what happened and was laughing at Tsukishima he turned around to Iwaizumi and told him what happened and Iwaizumi started chuckling
"He's a stupid motherfucker," said Oikawa to Iwaizumi
"I know" Iwaizumi said as he tried to hide a laugh
Tsukishima groaned and sat down on the bench
"Hey, at least Y/n is forgiving," said Suga trying to be reassuring
"Yeah, I don't know man, once someone spits water on you it's quite hard to move on," Tanaka said with a shrug
"No, Y/n isn't like that she would forgive someone if they spat water on her, especially if that someone is Tsukishima," said Hinata as he looked at Tsukishima
"Why would it be especially if it was me?" Tsukishima asked confused
"Y/n and you have this weird connection I can't really describe it," Hinata said as he stared of into the distance
"Gross no, well I'm going to check on Y/n anyway," Tsukishima said as he stood up and walked away
"But the match is about to start" Suga shouted as Tsukishima disappeared around the corner
"It's ok, we can hold off a little bit" coach Ukai said as he looked down at his watch
"They two idiots are in love and they don't even notice it," Daichi said as he shook his head and laughed
"Wait Y/n and Tsukishima?" Tanaka said confused
"Yeah, it's quite obvious," said coach Ukai as he looked at Tanaka in disbelief
"Huh? I always pictured Y/n and Kageyama," Tanaka said while looking at Kageyama
"No, I like someone else," Kageyama said as he drank his water
"WHO? WHO?" said Tanaka as he ran over to Kageyama

"I can't believe that idiot spat on me," I said as I looked in the mirror with a groan as I had just put my head under the hand dryer and my hair was a big ball of mess
"It's ok Y/n, we'll make you look good as new!" Yachi said as she dabbed paper towels on my face
"My shirt is ruined" I whined as I looked down at my shirt
We then heard a knock on the door and turned to see Tsukishima walking in with his hand covering his eyes
"I'm just giving Y/n my jacket," he said as he held his jacket out
"It's ok Kei, no one else is in here," I said and he slowly took his hand away from his eyes
"I should probably get back to the team," Yachi said with a smile as she left the bathroom
"Are you okay?" Tsukishima asked me as he looked down at me with a guilty expression
"I just can't believe that you can have THAT much water in your mouth," I said in disbelief
"Well I was thirsty," he said as he smiled and shrugged
"It looks like I've gone swimming," I said as I ringed my shirt out of water
"Well you can wear my jacket," he said as he handed out his jacket
"Why can't I wear mine?" I asked confused
"Well mine is bigger so you'll be warmer and it doesn't matter if my jacket gets wet"
"This may be your fault but that jacket is new I don't want you to ruin it," I said nervously
"Your shirt is also see-through so please put it on," he said as he looked down at my shirt and his face grew a tint of pink
"Ah" I shouted as I grabbed his jacket and covered myself up
"Turn around I'm going to take my shirt off," I told him madly
"So you're gonna be like half-naked under my jacket?" He croaked out
"I'm not going to sit in a wet shirt so take it or leave it"
"Fine, but like try and hide your T-shirt I don't want people knowing you're half-naked under there," he said
"I'm not stupid," I said as I took my shirt off
"Funny"
"Don't worry I'll wash your jacket" I said as I put his jacket on
"It's fine don't worry about it, it is my fault so I'll wash it"
"You're so silly Kei," I said as I zipped the jacket up
"Ok you can turn around," I said to him as I tried to hide the fact that my cheeks were going a little red
Why am I blushing?
I cant be
I must be hot
Although cold water did just get spat all over me
Maybe it's because I'm still embarrassed from earlier on

"You perv I can't believe you looked at my wet shirt," I said as he turned around
"There wasn't even anything to look at," he said as he rolled his eyes
"Don't insult me after you spat on me" I shouted at him
"I'll buy you some ice cream if you forgive me," Tsukishima said with a nervous laugh
"REALLY?" I said excitedly
"Yeah" he said with a little smile
"OK! YOU'RE FORGIVEN BUT I WANT THE EXPENSIVE ICE CREAM!" I said happily and he rolled his eyes
"Fine"
"Yay!" I said as I started walking to the door and as I was about to open it Tsukishima grabbed my hand lightly not to stop me or pull me away from the door just so that he could say something to me while I wasn't looking
"I'm really sorry" he whispered

Maybe I'm going mad
"It's ok, I mean it's not the worst thing you've done remember the time you made me walk into a lamppost," I said as I faced him with a smile
He stared at me for a few minutes before I realised we were holding hands
"Ah!" I said as I pulled my hand away

OK THIS IS WAY MORE ACCURATE TO THE SERIES just now the problem is that Y/n isn't spending much time with Kageyama and Tsukishima isn't spending much time with Yachi so we'll need to sort that out but anyway thanks for getting through this long ass chapter!
