So it was around 2pm and Monami was packing her stuff for going home. She was having her headphones on with some romantic music playing. She was singing the song with full heart as she was very happy. Her back was facing the door. Soon Karan enters her room and sees her packing her stuff.
Karan - Mon... (he stops hearing her sing)
Karan (in mind) - Wow!! Yeh gaati bhi hai and itna accha :)
He gets lost in her voice and just keeps standing there. Soon Monami turns as she wants to grab something from the back. She sees Karan looking at her with a smile. She screams as she suddenly sees Karan out of nowhere.
Monami - Aaaaaaaaaa!!!
This breaks Karan's trance. He comes back in his senses. He suddenly keeps one of his hand on her mouth and the other in her waist. They share a beautiful eye lock. Karan was just looking at her beautiful brown eyes which widened because of his sudden action. Soon Monami breaks the eye lock and starts looking here and there. This makes Karan come back to his senses. He leaves her. She removes her headphones. There was an awkward silence for a few seconds. Then Monami speaks up.
Monami - Tum... tum mujhe peeche khade hoke ghoor kyu rahe the?
Karan - Mai ghoor nahi raha tha... Pyaar se dekh raha tha (he says it in the flow)
Monami stares at him with a little blush. Then he realizes what he just said.
Karan - I mean tumne headphones lagaye the... I called you... But Rani Sahiba toh manoranjan (entertainment) mai busy thi toh aapko sunai nahi diya
Monami (in mind) - Khadoos Shergil
Karan - Chalo ab mujhe mann mai Khadoos Shergil bolna band karo
Monami - Tumhe kaise pata chala? (in the flow)
Then she bit her tongue in realization. Karan smiled at her.
Monami - Anyways tum yaha? Kuch kaam tha?
Karan - Ha... voh tumhara jacket hanger area mai hi reh gaya tha... yeh lo
He forwards her the jacket. She takes it.
Monami - Thanks :)
Karan nods and leaves.
After sometime Monami gets a call from Raj:
Raj - Monu!! Tere academy wale andar nahi aane de rahe hai
Monami - Ha bhaiyaa... andar aana mana hai... give me 2 mins mai bahar aa rahi hu
Raj - Ha.. Aaja
Then they cut the call
Monami comes out with her stuff and is heading towards the main gate of the academy when she sees Karan and Faizi with their stuff and they are also going somewhere. They also spot Monami.
Karan (sadly)- Arey Monami... tum jaa rahi ho..
Monami - Ha... mere bhai jaldi aa gaye hai toh I'm going
Karan (tensed) - Ok... But itna saara saaman... tum academy chhod ke jaa rahi ho?
Monami (in mind) - Ha bolke dekhti hu... let's see how he reacts
She winks at Faizi when Karan is looking at her stuff. Faizi understands.
Monami (sadly) - Ha Karan... mai jaa rahi hu... humesha ke liye... Mai tumhe batane aa hi rahi thi ki tum yahi mil gaye... par yeh sach hai ki mere bhai ki shaadi hai... but uske baad mai academy wapas nahi aaungi... maine kisi bhi cadet ko bhi nahi bataya hai kyunki voh mujhe jaane nahi dete... kisi tarah rok hi lete...Batra sir se bhi baat kar li hai maine... I'm going Karan... Forever... Shayad hum phir kabhi nahi milenge...
Karan gets shocked to the core
Karan (shocked and sad) - What?! Tum aisa kaise kar sakti ho mere saath? Tum mujhe chhod ke kaise jaa sakti ho?
He hugs her very tightly. Monami and Faizi are shocked.
Karan (on the verge of crying) - Please Monami... don't go... don't leave me
He breaks the hug and holds her hands. Monami looks at him, shocked. After 2 mins she and Faizi look at each other and burst into a hearty laugh. Karan gets confused. Karan leaves Monami's hands. Faizi and Monami give each other a high - five.
Karan (confused) - Kya hua? Tum dono has kyu rahe ho?
Monami and Faizi - Hum mazak kar rahe the Karan!!
Karan rolls his eyes.
Karan (angry) - Oh god! Tum dono ko aur koi kaam nahi hai kya?
Monami - Relax Karan, we were just kidding... Chill
Suddenly Faizi's phone rings.
Faizi- Excuse me guys
Karan and Monami nod in yes. Monami is still giggling. Karan turns her towards him.
Karan - Monami, please next time mere saath aisa mazak kabhi mat karna... I can't let you go, ever.
Monami gets shocked hearing him. They share an emotional eye lock. They come back to their senses when Monami's phone rings. It's her brother again. She picks it up.
Monami - Ha bhaiyaa
Raj - Monu, aaj hi aana hai
Monami - Ha sorry... Aa rahi hu
Raj - Jaldi aaja... We're waiting for you
Moanmi - Yes!!
Faizi also comes by this time.
Faizi - Karan chale?
Karan - Ha
All of them are walking towards the gate
Faizi - So Monami... Tum kahan rehti ho?
Monami - Sabke dil mai... and she laughs
Karan (in mind) - Sach toh hai... Atleast tum mere dil mai rehti ho <3
Monami - Just kidding... Mumbai mai... kyu tumne mera form nahi padha
Faizi - Padha tha na... but itne saare logo ke forms padhne ke baad kitna hi yaad rakhte hum
Monami - True... but tum dono kaha jaa rahe ho?
Faizi - Hum bhi Mumbai hi jaa rahe hai... Family function
Monami - Wow!! That's cool
They reach the gate. Monami's brothers are waiting for her at the gate with restless eyes. When they see her, they have the widest smile on their faces. Same with Monami, she has a different charm on seeing her brothers. She quickly runs towards them and hugs them tightly. Karan and Faizi are seeing this with the widest smile.
Raj and Agastya - We missed you!!
Monami - I missed you too!!
They break the group hug and Monami hugs them individually.
Raj - Kaisi hai baccha
Monami - Perfect!!
Karan and Faizi walk behind her as their jeep is parked near their car. Monami introduces them.
Monami (to Karan and Faizi) - Guys yeh mere bhai hai
Monami (to Raj and Agastya) - And yeh mere trainers hai
Karan - Hi, I'm Special Agent Karan Shergil
Faizi - Hello, hum hai Special Agent Faizuddin Siddiqui
Raj - Hello, I'm Rajveer Kapoor
Agastya - Hi, I'm Agastya Oberoi
They shake hands.
Karan - Nice to meet you guys... Ok so hum chalte hai
Raj smiles and nods. Karan and Faizi keep their stuff in their jeep and Monami's brothers keep her stuff in the car.
Faizi (teasing) - Dekh lo janab, inhe impress karna hoga Monami - tsunami se shaadi karne ke liye
Karan blushes on the inside but glares are Faizi. Faizi smirks. Karan tries to start the jeep but he can't. Faizi checks.
Faizi - Karan problem ho gayi hai... Hum yeh lekar nahi jaa sakte
Karan - Oh god!! Ab kya karain? Ghar pe sab wait kar rahe hai hum dono ka
Monami, Rajveer and Agastya hear it. They walk up to the duo.
Agastya - Kya hua guys?
Faizi - Kuch nahi... jeep kaharab ho gayi hai
Monami - Toh tum dono humare saath aa jao... Hum bhi Mumbai hi jaa rahe hai
Raj - Ha... waise bhi hum teen log hi hai and gaadi mai bhohot jagah hai
Karan - Ok!!
Karan and Faizi put their stuff in the car
Monami snatches the car keys from Agastya
Monami - Mai drive karungi
Agastya - Nahi yaar Monu di!!
Monami (mimics him) - Ha yaar Agastya!!
Karan was just adoring her as he had only seen her in the cadet avatar or jelling with friends. This was something new.
Monami - And waise bhi it's been ages since maine drive kiya hai
Agastya - So what?
Monami (cutely) - Arey but I'm your sister na... Plus yeh meri car hai!!
Agastya (irritated) - Fine!! Toh songs mai lagaunga
Monami - Done... but peeche baith ke... you dance too much while the songs are playing
Agastya grins and sits behind. So it was a 6 seater car. Agastya went at the backmost seat. They see that Raj is already sitting at the middle as he was tired sitting in the front. Now only Karan, Monami and Faizi were left. Monami sat at the driver's seat. Faizi quickly sat next to Raj. Now Karan had no option except sitting next to Monami ;) He sat next to her. Both exchanged smiles :) They started to drive.
