Again at Dareth's dojo, we are training Lloyd who is trying to light a light bulb with lightning. He grunts as Jay passes him. "Focus, Lloyd. Control the power inside you. When you feel a surge welling up, harness it."
"I understand. I am in control." The light bulb glows but then breaks quickly making Lloyd groan in frustration
"Aah! Stupid light bulb! You're putting too much pressure on me." He turned to all of us who were just staring at him "Let me have one more try." He begged
"Ugh, sorry, bro. That was the last light bulb." I apologize showing the empty box
Cole hands him a broom "Clean up, Lloyd. We'll continue training tomorrow."
Lloyd turns away from the mess and uses the broom to punch a punching bag.
Jay sighs as we watch Lloyd hopelessly "What am I doing wrong, Sensei Wu? I can't seem to teach him to control his power."
Lloyd's broom hits him on the head. "You dare to defy the Green Ninja!?" He begans aggressively punching
"Patience, Jay. Sometimes, the greatest opponent we face is ourselves, and that's especially true of Lloyd. Remember where he came from. He's the son of Lord Garmadon. It's going to take time for him to embrace the light." Sensei taught but then turned examining me.
"In fact he is a lot like Y/n think of how you would teach Y/n something when teaching Lloyd." Sensei replied walking off
"I don't know if I should be offended by that or not..." I replied confused
Nya enters the room, wearing her sequined dress. "Hey, guys."
"Hey, Nya!" We all call out and I go join the other ninja while Nya talked to Jay.
See I already knew what she was asking him so no need to be nosy and eavesdrop on them.
"Hmm. It's from Lloyd's old school." Sensei announced out loud catching my attention
"The Darkley School for Bad Boys?" I ask standing next to Nya and the other ninja followed behind me
"Formerly bad boys. Since the last time we were there, they've changed to the Darkley School for Great Children." Sensei noted making me laugh a little
"Heh, wait. They've turned good?" Kai replied
"Hmm, it says here there's going to be a ceremony." Sensei replied ignoring Kai
"I love ceremonies. That means there's going to be-" Cole replied hitting Kai's shoulder but I already knew what he was gonna say
"Cake." I groaned finishing his sentence making him glare "we all know if Cole's obsession with cake right?"
All the ninja nod before looking at Sensei again
"Lloyd's change inspired them. Now they've invited Lloyd to give him an honorary degree in excellence." Sensei spoke
Lloyd breaks the broom and headbutts the punching bag.
"Are we sure we're talking about the same Lloyd?" Kai questions gesturing to him
"How is he getting a honorary degree in excellence when we have been saving the city for i don't know? Our whole life?!" I shouted drawing Sensei's attention
"Jealousy is not something you should be feeling Y/n. But proudness for how far Lloyd has come." He concluded walking away to help Lloyd up.
I got one word for you favoritism.

"At least I'm getting better." Lloyd chuckled nervously getting off the dragon in front of the entrance of Darkley's.
Well at least we survived that dragon death ride.
"All the same, I'll take the reins going home. Just to be safe." Cole responded
"Lloyd?" A kid asks who was tending to flowers
"Uh, Brad?" He questions confused as the kid gives him a big hug
"You came! So good to see you." He smiled letting go
"It is? You put fire ants in my bed." Lloyd stated still confused
"Please forgive me. I wasn't myself and have learned the error of my ways." He replied nobly looking at the sky.
"And you must be the ninja!" He pointed to all of us smiling it honestly gave me a bad feeling but I smiled back anyway.
"Uh, guys. Meet Brad Tudabone." Lloyd introduced
"Such a huge fan!" He replied running up to us shaking our hands. "Go good! Haha. Uh, please, will you follow me to see the Principal?"
We walked into the school at a rather fast pace and I took to notice all the class rooms empty.
"Uh, shouldn't you all be in class?" I ask
"Actually, today is a new Darkley School tradition: Ninja Day. We stay out of sight to honor the way of the ninja for showing us the light." Brad informed not satisfying my question
"Huh, this is a good school. I'm impressed." Cole commented as Brad opened a door
"Principal Noble? Lloyd and the ninja are here for the ceremony." Brad called out as a shadow was seen through the glass in the door
"That, and the cake. By the way, do you what kind it is?" Cole asked kneeling to Brad who just ignored him.
"I'll be with you in just a moment." The principle called back
"I should get back to the flowers." Brad spoke bumping into me quickly on the way out and slamming the door
"Um, heh, has anyone seen a teacher yet?" Jay asked
"Indeed, their absence is most strange." Zane agreed
"I'll see you now. Come in, come in." Principle Noble yelled
"I've got a bad feeling I'm gonna take a look around just tell him I went to the bathroom." I replied to receive determined nods from the rest of the ninja.
I slipped out of the room quickly entering another room which I assumed was a teachers lounge.
I spotted a huge cake in the center of the room I laughed a little walking up to it looks like Cole will get his cake.
"Hooray! We defeated the ninja!" I whispered examining the cake that had all us tied up with balloons and confetti around us.
I'm starting to think that this isn't a ceremony for good.
I ran out of the room to the principles office no one was in there not even the ninja.
"Find the girl ninja! We can't have our plans ruined." I heard some kid in an annoying voice with a snort at the end of his sentence call from behind the door.
"What about Lloyd?" Brad's voice emerged
"I'll deal with him. Hehehehehehe." The kid giggled hysterically moving further away from my hearing shot.
Okay one ninja who always has his cell. Who always does? Come on think think....
Jay!
I take my phone out calling Jay for it to answer the first ring.
"Jay are you guys okay?!"
"Why wouldn't we be." Jay laughed darkly on the other side of the call
"Because the kids have taken you captive?"
"Kids?" He asked
This isn't right "who are you and why do you have my friends phone?" The line disconnected immediately
I shoved the phone in my pocket great just great.
I began walking the hallway I gotta find them
"Haha. Come on, you can untie me." I hear Lloyds voice in a room I was passing by.
"Really, this is just a huge relief. I couldn't stand being good. Ha. Thank you for saving me." Lloyd assured
"How do we know you're not lying to us just to escape and help the ninja?" Brad asked
"Well, if I am truly good, I wouldn't be able to lie, which I'm not, but even if I was, wouldn't lying make me evil, thus giving you assurance that you could release me?" Lloyd questioned in response.
I smiled to myself he was using the lesson I taught him by the way.
"Uh...he's trying to trick us with mind games!" A boy called the same one with the annoying voice
I heard a fit of laughter coming through the hallway in fact it sounded like the ninja. I came face to face with the ninja but they were in sunglasses and maybe it's the lighting but a little pale.
"You guys are okay?" I ask running up to them
"Of course we are okay Y/n." Jay smiled with a hand on my shoulder
"You don't have to worry about us baby." Kai replied
"Um "baby" what is going on?"
"It's a bad boy thing." Cole smirked
Alright this isn't right I grabbed the sunglasses off Cole to reveal his eyes were a glowing red
"Garmadon..." I whispered to have an arm wrapped around my neck from behind.
They flipped me over quickly and I saw myself with glowing red eyes. "Who are you?!" I shout jumping up and kicking them to be blocked.
"Who you were meant to be." Evil me stated laughing
"I'm meant to be good." I asserted
"Aww...are you sure about that?" My copy pouted and as I was about to respond I heard my real friends voices behind me.
"Guys, why are we staring at ourselves?" Kai asked as I backed up beside them
"It's Garmadon he has made us but um evil." I replied weirded out by my own statement
We all proceed going after our copy.
We threw a punch at the same speed and same time.
"we're so evenly balanced...ugh...this fight could go on...forever." Jay whined out of breath
"We can't give up. Keep fighting!" Kai yelled determined
"Ninja, go!" I hear the students yell as they were all dressed in our costumes
"Hey, it really is Ninja Day!" Cole laughed as a little ninja started punching my copy
"Oh, I see what they're doing! They're trying to confuse them!" I smiled landing a blow on my copy for it to disappear in darkness
"Yeah, but it's confusing me, too." Jay announced
"Keep your focus." Zane spoke as he destroys his counterpart with Spinjitzu.
Bizarro Cole is knocked back and Cole punches him. "Aargh! Good riddance!"
"Don't think you can get rid of us that easily. By the way, did I mention that I kissed Nya?" Bizarro Jay smirked
"What!!? You did what!?" Jay yelled giving all his might into a kick against him.
All students cheer with the end of the evil ninja
"It worked, Lloyd! You did it!" Brad cheered
"No, we did it." Lloyd smiled as the teachers come out of the wall.
"Normally, we'd punish you for holding us captive, but I guess now that we've all learned a valuable lesson, I suppose it's cause for a celebration." Principle Noble stated
"Uh, that wouldn't mean cake, now, would it?" Cole asked as everyone laughed
"They do have cake but you might not like the frosting." I replied laughing while the student nervously laughed looking at each other

I drove the raider while Cole flew the Ultra dragon.
"Oh, man. So great the have the tank back." Jay said
"Can't wait to hear what Sensei says when he hears about this." Kai smiled putting his feet on my seat
"Hey hey move your feet I'm trying to concentrate on driving hello." I remarked pushing his feet off
"So, it is true. You have destroyed my evil ninja." Garmadon spoke appearing on the screen.
"Keep it coming, Garmadon. Your attempts to stop us are only making us stronger." Kai admitted
"But tomorrow is a new day, ninja. Mark my words, I will find new ways to finish you, once and for al-"The screen malfunctions mid sentence
"What? I can't hear you." I mocked as he disappeared for good
"Nya will be displeased. She just repaired it and it appears it already has to go back to the shop." Zane spoke still laughing from my statement
"Nah, it's not broken." Lloyd replied as the screen switches to a video game.
"You did that? But it didn't blow up." Jay smiled very surprised
"Hey, you go to school, and sometimes you might pick up a thing or two."
We all laugh in peace Lloyd plays his game.
