CHAPTER TEN
"Hogsmeade"
IT WAS FINALLY THE WEEKEND. WHICH MEANS THE FIRST HOGSMEADE TRIP. Everyone was excited especially 'The Marauders'. They wanted to see how much has changed since 1977.
"I can't wait toooo goooo inssside Zooonkooo's" James sang as he was happening dancing "just imagine Padfoot, Moony how many new prank items will be there!" He spoke in excitement
"I agree with Prongs" Remus nodded toward James
"I want to head towards Hog's head" Sirius busted out
James looked at his two friends "We should use our secret passage" James shouted "THE SHRIEKING SHAK"
"Don't worry Mr Potter, we're going to use your secret passage" it was a female voice. The Marauders turn their head to look at their dorm door and saw a blonde girl standing, her arm crossed
"Hey Vanya" Remus gave the girl a bright smile which she returned
"What do you mean?" Questioned James
"you see" Vanya started "Harry doesn't have a signed form. His cruel uncle doesn't sign it" she walked close to them "so like always, Harry will use his- I mean your cloak and use the secret passage" she explained
"How did you know about Shrieking Shak?" Sirius asked
She open her mouth then close it
Remus signed "Why did his uncle never sign his form?" He asked "just curious"
"Well before the third year Harry blew up his aunt. She was his Uncle's sister. Erm...does that made her his aunt? Aaaa whatever you get the point. He blew her up and left the house--"
"Woh, Woh, Woh" James cut her off "he did what?"
"Blew up his aunt"
James let out a fake tear "MY SON"
"Now I can say harry is YOUR SON" Sirius shouted proudly
"Where is HE?" James started shaking the blonde girl "WHERE IS HARRYYYY?"
"G-great hall" Vanya replied as she was trying to control herself from laughing
"MY BOI" James ran out, followed by Sirius
"Dramatic" Vanya mumbled then she saw Remus and they both started laughing
"Let's follow them," Remus said, she nodded

The Great Hall
James and Sirius rushed towards the Great Hall. They saw Harry sitting beside Ron at the Gryffindor table.
"HARRY POTTER" James cried out
He ran towards Harry followed by Sirius, Vanya and Remus. James pulled Harry into a tight hug
"You BLEW UP your aunt," James said happily
"You did what?" Lily shouted "Aunt? As in Petunia?"
"No-Not aunt Petunia--" Harry told her
"Then who?" Lily asked
"I still remember when I read it in the daily profit" Itan chuckled.
They kept asking Harry questions and all the other students who were in the great hall were confused then they decided to ignore them until they heard a voice-
"What is going on?" It was the cold voice of Professor Snape
"We're having a conversation you lunatic" Marlene crossed her arms. The Gryffindor table busted into a laugh. No one talks to Snape like she did
"How DARE YOU talk to a professor like that...stupid girl," Snape said angrily. Students in the great hall fell quite
Hermione grab Marlene's arm to make her sit down but she didn't
James dropped Harry's arm and stood in front of Snape "What you are gonna do? Snivellus?" He asked
"Take our house points?" Sirius started "give us detention?" He smirked "you have already done that Snivellus"
"HOW-" Snape started but was cut off by a strict female voice
"Professor Snape" McGonagall stood opposite Snape "What is happening here?" She asked, looking around
"Professor McGonagall, your house students ---" he was again cut off my McGonagall
"If they're of my house Professor Snape then let me hand them" she smiled
Snape glance at James, Sirius and Marlene before walking out of the great hall
"I know you and professor Snape don't get along but he's a professor now Mr Potter" Mcgonagall whispered

"Bye" Vanya waved at Hermione, Ron, Lily, Marlene, Sirius and Remus.
Sirius and Remus wanted to join Vanya, Harry and James but they all can not fit in one cloak.
"You own us Greene" Sirius shouted
"Alright whatever" Vanya shouted back
When everybody left for Hogsmeade James, Vanya and Harry went to the common room to get his invisibility cloak
'You two get into that" Vanya pointed at the cloak "I'll join you two" they nodded
James and Harry wore the invisibility cloak and Vanya walked out as they followed her
"She is beautiful isn't she?" James whispered to Harry who blushed
"I-Vanya? Ya" Harry whispered
James eyed Harry
"You do know Harry you're free to ask for advice right?" Harry looked at his father then at Vanya who was outside the cloak
"Advice for what?" Harry asked innocently. He well knew what James meant
"Don't play dumb Harry" said James "you know what I mean" he nodded toward Vanya
"I don't know what you are talking about," Harry said quickly
Vanya looked at Harry and James. She couldn't see them as they were under the cloak but she knew they were on her left
"Oi. Well, you guys shut up" she rolled her eyes and kept walking but was bumped into a tall figure. She looked up and saw none other than Draco Malfoy
"Can't you see where the fuck you are- oh Annie...it's you" Draco stopped when he noticed it was Vanya who he bumped into
"One and only," she nodded
"Why are you not at Hogsmeade?" Draco question
"I could ask you the same thing" she crossed her arms
Draco completely ignored Vanya's question "where are your litter blood- traitor friends?" He smirked
Vanya steps closer "call them that one more time and find out what happens," she didn't break the eye contact
"Or what?" He steps forward
"I'm gonna crucio your ass" She looked like she would
James tries to hold his laugh 'Harry made the right choice' he thought
Draco and Vanya were inches away. Both glanced at each other. Draco looked at her then at her lips then back into her eyes. His smirk grew. He started filling the gap but before he could kiss her, she was pulled back by Harry. Draco looked confused, Harry was under the invisibility cloak so Draco didn't see him but Vanya knew what happen
"Who-was there-" Draco was confused
"What? That someone pulled me?" It was the truth "come on Draco you are losing it" She giggled
Draco stared at her in confusion. James pulled Draco's hair "who's there?" He turned around. James and Harry grab Draco's leg making him fall on his butt "My FaThEr WilL hEaR aBoUt ThIs" he looked around before running away
James and Harry came into the view. Vanya was dying with laughter
"Oh Merlin Haha," Vanya said in between her laugh, putting her left hand on James' shoulder and the right one to squeeze Harry's cheeks "good job you two"

The three of them were under the invisibility cloak walking toward the shrieking shack.
"Ouch my foot Harry," said Vanya
"Sorry"
They kept walking until they were inside Shrieking Shack. Harry took the cloak off.
James was walking in front admiring the place and remembering every time he came here for Remus's transformation.
"You should stay away from him," Harry said in a low voice so only Vanya could hear
"Who?" She looked at him confused
"Malfoy" harry made a disgusting face
"Alright, whatever" Vanya started walking fast and joined James.
When they reached honeydukes Harry was the only one who was under the invisibility cloak.
"Here we are," Vanya told James
He looked around in wonder "Look at all this stuff" James started "the shop is still the same but they have new...candies"
"Should we go to Zonko's?" Harry whispered
"No Harry. First, we will meet the rest in three broomsticks then we'll go to Zonko's" Vanya told him and walked out James and Harry following her
"She is the right girl for you" James whispered to Harry
"She is" Harry mumbled
James eyes his son "what was that?"
"I- I said she is a very good friend" Harry hated calling her friend
"Friends don't look at each other like you two do" James smirked
"I had a crush on Lily-your mother," James told Harry. He felt so happy whenever his parents tell him about their life "for a very long time. But she never liked me" He told the truth
"Why not?" Harry asked
"Well...she just didn't like me cause I was a trouble maker" James giggled "but she couldn't resist my good looks and in the end fall for me" He smirked
Vanya looked at James "what are you talking with him?"
"Just about my Lily Evens" James shouted
"Lily Potter actually" she corrected him
"Ya. Lily Potter" his smirk grew "Perfect"

They went to three broomsticks and the others were already there.
"took you long enough," said Ginny
"We had something to deal with" James answered and sat between Sirius and Lily. Vanya and Harry sat next to each other. On Harry's left was Remus and on Vanya's right was Ginny who was next to Itan
"What can I get for you?" The waiter asked
"Y'all want butterbeer?" Hermione asked, they all nodded
"I want a hot chocolate" said Remus
"ten butterbeer and one hot chocolate please" the waiter nodded and walked away
All of them started talking about random stuff. Vanya looked at Harry and smirked
"I want your glasses" she whispered and before Harry could answer she took the glasses from his face and wore them
"Woah" she blinked "you're totally blind Potter" she looked at Harry "anyway how do I look?" She asked
"I'm totally blind. I can't see Greene" Harry mimics her
She slapped his arm and shook Ginny "how do I look?"
"Ouuuuuhhh~," ginny said in a flirty voice which made Vanya chuckle "sometimes I wish you were bisexual" she complained
"Who said I'm not?" Vanya asked
Ginny faked gasping "I love you"
"I love you too" she grabs Ginny's hand
"Are we about to kiss?" Vanya asked
"Mmm...hmm" with that they both busted into laughter
"You two are so weird," Ron said
"At least we're telling the truth and not like you who is hiding his feelings for Hermione" ginny shouted
Hermione and Ron went red "What is she talking about," asked Ron "I don't know what she is talking about" He quickly added while looking at Hermione
"Your butterbeer and one hot chocolate" Ron was so thankful. He looked at the waiter with a thankful look
"Same old Butterbeer," said Sirius
Vanya looked at Remus who was enjoying his Hot chocolate. Remus- chocolate- wolf- full moon. It hit her...next full moon is after two days. She looked at Remus with sad eyes. Remus caught her looking. She gave him a small sad smile

"Alright everyone" Marlene stood up "where to next?"
"Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop," said Lily
"NO" others shouted at the same time
"I'll join you" Hermione smiled
"Lily and Hermione are going to Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop what about y'all?" Remus asked
Marlene whispered something in Sirius's ears "We're going to The Hog's Head" they nodded
Vanya looked at Harry "I want to send a letter to Remus real quick, er the older one. so I'm heading towards the post office" said Harry
"We are" Vanya joined
"Me and Remus are going to Zonko's then we'll explore," said James
"I'm going to meet some of my friends," Ginny said with a nodded
"Then I and Ronnie will go to Honeydukes," Itan told them
"My name is RON!" Ron glanced at Itan
"That's what I said Ronnie" Itan replied
"So we all will meet each other after an hour?" Lily questioned
"Alright see you"
All of them went in different directions and as they said they all meet each other outside the three broomstick. They did.
"WoW James you literally brought the whole store" Vanya pointed out. James had so many bags and all of them were full of prank items
"I DID," he said proudly
"You did WHAT?" Lily shouted "you're such a child James"
"Come on Evens they had so much new stuff" James acted like a kid
After fighting for five mins they decided to go back to Hogwarts
Harry was under the invisibility cloak but instead of Vanya and James, Sirius and Remus went with him.
Vanya kissed Harry's checks "see you at Hogwarts"
Harry went red "ya"
"She totally likes you," Remus told Harry
"Yes Harry she fancy you" Sirius added
"You think so?" Harry asked
"We know so" Remus answered
