Luke sees my mom and widens his eyes.
"I better go." He got up and hugged me.
I loved Luke's hugs, they always released all my stress.
"Okay." I smiled and sat on my bed.
I really hope Michael is going to get here soon, because I don't want to be alone with my mother. I had to act really nice or she's going to probably hit me again.
"Hi mom." I smiled.
"What is it?" She didn't look at me.
"I just wanted to say hi." I got closer.
"Karli, go to your room, not now." I just looked at her not saying anything.
"Why don't you even notice me or talk to me? You notice my mistakes, but you don't notice anything else? That's fucked up!" I yelled.
"What did you just say?" She finally looked at me.
"I-I'm sorry it slipped, I just got mad." She walked towards me.
"Nothing just slips out of your mouth! She hits me in the head knocking me to the ground.
"I'm surprised you have friends! They probably feel sorry for because how selfish you are!" She screamed and hit me one more time.
I was on my side onto the ground crying my eyes out. My vision was blurry from all the tears. I just wanted this all to end.
All I wanted to do was just talk to her, that's all I ever wanted. She treats me like shit and hits me. I don't know what to do no more.
"I'm sorry." I said.
She ignored me then went into the other room.
"I'm sorry for living in this cruel world." I mumbled to my self.
After a few hours, I started to see the marks where my mother hit me.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" I sighed to myself.
"Hey." I heard Michaels voice.
"Hey." I said still looking at myself in the mirror.
"Fuck are you okay?" Michael saw the bruises.
"I'm great, wonderful." I fake smiled.
"Karli-" He hugged me from behind putting his head on my shoulder.
"She keeps on hitting me." I finally say.
"Does my dad know about this?" I say.
"I don't think so, he probably would of divorced her if he knew." I smile at the thought.
If our parents got divorced, we can probably be together and not make it weird, if I'm not dead.
"First off why is she like this?" He said.
"I-I don't know it all started-" I stopped and looked up.
"What is it?"
How could I be so stupid? I knew she was going to start again, once she was married.
"What?" Michael asked again.
"Nothing, just my mother started to do meth again." I sighed.
My mom always did meth or started meth when she was married, but when she gets out of hand they all leave her.
"Oh."
"Yeah my mother is stupid and always will be." I said as I walked out into the living room to go to the kitchen.
"Do we have any pizza?" I asked as I searched the fridge.
"Um not that I know of." He said as he put his head on me.
"Well go down stairs and look." I smiled.
"Why do I have too?" Michael wined.
"No video games then." I giggled.
