Tommy looked down at the dead vampire below him. The thing had a a pure silver sword sticking out of its chest, something done by Mr. Innit himself, and a Monkshood flower placed inside his hands.
"Fucking blood suckers," Tommy mumbled under his breath, "can't wait to have this done with."
Pulling out his phone, he sent his location to the general with all the details so he could get approved for the night.
The message was simple, it explained how he stumbled across a vampire in an abandoned building and then killed it. Tommy considered things such as this to be useless kills, the vampire was most likely extremally new and untrained in how to kill; easy prey for Tommy but not so much for the vampire.
Tommy knew this was sort of cheating to count but he was hungry gosh darn it and he was not allowed to return to the academy until he killed two vampires! The other one was a harder kill anyways, it all evened out.
It took a few minutes but the general, Sam, had finally saw the message and gave Tommy permission to go home. With that, the boy quickly walked out of the building as to avoid running into another vampire.
Luckily for Tommy, and his poor stomach, he was able to make it out of the danger zone without coming into contact with another blood sucker.
When he stepped into he felt his phone start to ring in his pocket, he looked at who the caller was and then quickly answered, "Hey Sam."
"Hey Tommy I just wanted to make sure you got out of that area safe," said the older with his normal concerned tone, "It's really dangerous and I hate it when Eret assigns you there."
Tommy couldn't help but giggle slightly, it really made him happy. "Yeah, I was able to get out without running into another one so I'm doing good."
The conversation kept on for a little longer, it was mainly just Sam asking about Tommy's day and making sure he hadn't got hurt on any missions lately. With every word that Sam said, every small bit of concern, the younger felt his heart fill with joy.
"You still there, Tommy?" Sam asked after not receiving a reply.
The boy was quickly brought back into reality and realized that he had completely zoned out. "Yeah yeah, sorry, I just zoned out."
Sam's tone quickly switched to one of concern, "is everything okay?"
Tommy stopped walking and debated his next words; he'll just say it, "everything's great actually I was just think about how much you act like a dad towards me. It's really nice."
Tommy heard what sounded like sniffing from his speaker, "I'm really glad you like it."
Tommy smiled slightly at the emotional reaction, he really did view Sam as a father figure. The man was able to pull off that whole "strict and loving" vibe very well. Maybe Sam's actions would be annoying to others but Tommy never knew his family so it was just endearing to him.
"Well I have to go now but I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" Sam said, bringing the conversation to an end.
"alright, bye big man." After Tommy said his goodbye he realized that he had arrived at the train station. He walked over to the shortest line he could find for the ticket booth and stood patiently.
The station he was at was fairly nice, it had a very clean look to it and to be able to use this station you had to have a decent to clean criminal record; that made the place feel a lot safer.
"Next!" Finally, it was Tommy's turn to get his ticket.
Once he was close enough, the man spoke again, "Where is your destination?"
"Hunter academy, I'm a student." Tommy reached into his pocket and grabbed his wallet to show the man his id. The dude looked over it for a few minutes before nodding at Tommy, signaling for him to head on. Tommy's favorite vampire hunter perk had to be free train rides to the academy.
He stepped inside of the train and looked at saw completely empty train compartments; guess he was the only one riding today. However as Tommy sat down he just couldn't shake this feeling of dread. He didn't know why but it felt as if something was...wrong, maybe even dangerous here.
Tommy knew he should've left in this moment, he should have stood up as quickly as possible and gone to a shitty hotel but he didn't. For a good while nothing happened, the train stayed dormant and no one new came on. That was until, these two very eccentric men stepped on.
First there was there was the pink haired man, his hair was long and neatly tied into braid, his clothes were fancy having black dress pants with a silk wine colored button up, with all of this he had what looked to be real gold jewelry.
The second was slightly taller, maybe about 6'3 while the other was 6'1, and had dirty blonde hair. He wore a green hoodie, black slightly baggy jeans, and a white surgical mask that had a smile painted on it. His outfit was much more casual looking but considering it was all designer clothes, it probably still costed a good bit.
Tommy's mind couldn't help but go to one sentence, 'What kinda pretentious fuckers-'
He was soon brought away from that however when the two men began to walk towards him. Wait, had they caught him staring? Prime he hopes not, Tommy really wasn't in the mood to deal with offended rich people.
"Hey, sorry, can we sit here?" the dirty blonde asked, "we figured you're going to the vampire academy too and we're a bit confused on where we should go and what we're supposed to do."
Tommy nodded at the man, at least they weren't gonna yell at him.
The two sat in the seats across from him, the pink haired one being directly across while the dirty blonde was diagonal.
While he ignored it at the time, Tommy really should have taken the increase in his bad feeling as another sign to leave. Tommy didn't always make the smartest decisions though.
After a few moments of silence Tommy spoke up, "So," he started, "what exactly do you want to know?"
"We're here to visit our son, Ranboo, however we don't know where the dorms are located."the pink haired one explained.
With only such small information about the two, Tommy's opinions completely changed. Of course these guys were rich so was Ranboo, however, Ranboo was a chill rich person.
Maybe Tommy was a bit quick to judge.
He felt himself relax, "Oh, well Ranboo is actually one of my best friends so I would be happy to show you to his dorm room!"
After the had thanked him though his mind was brought back to a piece of information, "Wait, you do realize that Ranboo is currently on a mission out side of town right?"
The pink haired man gave a smile that was a bit creepy for Tommy's liking, "oh we're aware but he's coming back tomorrow so we wanted to be able to surprise him!"
This felt weird to Tommy, why do such a random surprise visit? The boy pushed back his concerns once again, he didn't have parents to properly base anything off of anyways.
"Also, I'm sorry for not knowing but are you Purpled, Tommy, or Tubbo?" The tall blonde asked.
Tommy mentally cursed at himself, he seriously forgot to introduce himself. "Oh, I'm Tommy!"
The man smiled slightly, "Nice to meet you Tommy, my name is Dream and my husbands name is Technoblade."
"However, you can just call me Techno." The other quickly corrected.
Tommy couldn't help but laugh slightly. Techno and Dream? Are you serious? Well, it explains Ranboo's weird ass name.
"I hate to bombard you with questions but you look a bit young to be a vampire hunter, how old are you?" Dream asked.
"I'm fifteen." Tommy quickly replied.
"Wait seriously?" Techno asked, "I thought you had to at least 17 to join?"
Technically Techno was right. Tommy was indeed the youngest person in the academy but a bit of behavioral issues in school sprinkled with a lack of parents convinced the headmasters to just let him join.
"Well yes but some stuff happened when I was younger that causes the headmasters to see as their future greatest accomplishment." Tommy explained.
The two had a strange look on their face, was it anger? Confusion? Maybe even concern? There was no clear way to tell.
"Can I ask you two a question?"
"You just did." Techno responded.
Tommy laughed slightly, "Okay, can I ask you another?"
"You just did." Dream was the one to speak this time.
"Can I ask two then?" Tommy's gave the two a death glare.
Dream gave him a smug smile, "how polite and clever you are. Of course, go ahead."
"You two look a bit young for adoption and having a 17 teen year old. Not saying this in a negative way I'm just curious about the timeline." Tommy hoped this wasn't too personal of a question.
Techno shifted slightly in his seat before responding, "well we are a bit older then we look but we got married about 10 years ago and then a year we decided we wanted kids. A bit later Ranboo was adopted."
Tommy guesses this made sense, he assumed they were a tad bit older then they looked but there was no way it was by a lot. They looked like they were twenty-one to twenty-two.
"Huh well you guys look way really young." Tommy commented
"I can say the same for you." Techno retorted.
"Oh Fuck you man." Tommy laughed a moment before he realized what he said, "Wait I'm really sorry I didn't-"
Before Tommy could finish Dream broke out into hysterics and Techno sported a small smile on his face. Tommy was extremely confused by the reactions.
"Ranboo said you had a fiery personality but I didn't expect an insult from you first meeting!" Dream said through his laughter, well, it was more like wheezing.
Tommy looked away slightly, blushing from embarrassment. He never could keep his mature act up for long periods of time. The two didn't seem to mind the words however, it seemed they even found it funny, giving Tommy a nice and stress reliving surprise.
"It seems we've arrived at the academy." Techno mentioned as they all felt the train come to a stop.
A few seconds later the doors slid open, giving them a sign to leave. All three stood up and walked out, with Dream and Techno walking behind Tommy, presumably holding hands.
"Okay, show us where Ranboo's dorm is!" Dream walked next to Tommy as he spoke while Techno moved to the other side. It was a bit strange but whatever.
Tommy led the two to the dormitory and showed them where room 168, Ranboo's room, was located.
Dream and Techno thanked Tommy for his help and promised to tell Ranboo he said hi. After that he went back to his own dorm.
"What weirdly sweet people." Tommy mumbled as he pushed the combination into the keypad.
Tommy opened his door and walked inside. The room he had was small, it was the only dorm that was meant for a single person so it only contained enough room for the necessities and a few decorations. Tommy didn't do that however, instead he simply left it in its plain state with only a few clothes in the floor.
After admiring his extraordinarily interesting room he walked over to the kitchen and took out some ingredients.
Unluckily for Tommy, he never noticed the two shadowy figures watching him through his window.

Okay amazing people I would like to make this super clear. I am in no way shipping Dream or Techno! The two are platonically married and canonically aroace. I would also like to say this is a dark bedrock bros/disc duo fic. There will be themes such as kidnapping, Stockholm syndrome, and corporal punishment. Speaking of that, do not make that sexual.
