It was a warm day in LA
Joe had just got done doing warmups before his big game (the superbowl)
Againts the LA rams
Hes been worried all week ,hes been beating himself up about it alot.
"Hey y/n/n." Joe said pulling the belt loops on my Levi's jeans closer to him he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into a soft kiss.
"Your gonna do great baby I cant wait to watch you play." I said in a soothing tone as we pulled away,he put his hands on my shoulders and looked me in the eyes
"Thank you y/n, I will try my best to win this for us tonight."joe said pulling me into one last hug and and placing one last kiss on my lips
"I'm always here for you joey,and win or lose I'm always here for you now go out there and kick some ram ass."I said giggling,
He let go of me and ran onto the field to throw a football around a bit
*after the sad game for joe and the bangels*
Joe walked out of the locker room and straight into my arms
He started to tear up and he nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck
"I'm sorry y/n, I didnt mean to let you down."Joe said pulling away and looking at me,at this point Joe's eyes were bright red and his nose was a bit stuffy
I pulled him back into me and said "joe,dont you dare say sorry for anything. You played great today and that's all that matters, so what you guys lost but you have a young team,I bet you'll be back here in no time!" He looked at me with nothing but sadness in his eyes, he stepped back and grabbed his backpack ,he unzipped it and grabbed his iconic glasses that everyone loves.
That night joe and I attended the superbowl after party, joe had a good time but was still bummed that they had lost the superbowl when we got home, joe took another shower,and we sat and watched movies and ate candy till we fell asleep in each others arms
