Two weeks later
Stefano pov
I wake up to whimpering. I turn over and notice that Amara is silently crying. She distanced herself today. She's been in bed all day without telling me why, and she won't even let me lay on her breasts.
"Pinkey, please tell me what's wrong. I'm worried" I say as I snuggle into her neck. I gently kiss it.
"No-nothing" she sniffles as she wipes her tears.
She's curled up in a ball. I just want her to tell me what's bothering her.
"Amara, tell me what's going on. Now." I say strictly.
"It-it's my period. It hurts re-really bad" she says, still crying.
"Why didn't you just tell me instead of distancing yourself baby" I say.
"Men always find it gross. That's why" she says.
I pull her to me and sneak my hands into her shirt. I place my hands on the lower part of her stomach.
"I love you, and I don't find it gross. It's normal Amore. So dont hide from me. You hear me?" I say softly.
I kiss her cheek. She sighs and puts her hands on mine.
"That feels nice, I love you too." she says.
"You need anything else? Period cravings?" I ask?
"Chocolate milk please" she says.
I laugh silently.
"Come, let's go down. I heard ginger tea makes the pain better" I say.
I remove my hands from her shirt, making her groan. I pick her up and she hugs my neck and clings on me like a koala.
"I have the worst periods ever. Some of my friends don't even feel pain at all. While I can't even walk properly and the pain makes me cry." she says.
I kiss her forehead as we enter the kitchen. My poor angel.
I put her on the counter and take out her milk. Marco is already sleeping. That's how late it is.
I hand her milk to her and she smiles widely at me before taking a sip from it.
"Stefano, why don't we put Marco in school earlier. I know we're putting him in daycare, but let's put him in school. He's already so smart and he learns fast." She says while looking at me with those beautiful brown eyes.
"Okay then. I trust u, and if u think that's what's best for our son,then I completely support you" I say.
She smiles and opens her arms for me. I chuckle and step between her lags. She hugs me and kisses my cheek.
"Let's go back to bed. You can make me the tea tomorrow morning." she says.
I kiss her head before lifting her up again. She rests her face in my neck and kisses it.
"I love you" she whispers.
"I love you a thousand times more" I say.
Amara pov
The next morning, I'm waken up by someone kissing my face. It's sloppy and wet... Definitely Marco.
I open my eyes and see his big grey eyes staring at me. His face lights up and he smiles adorably.
"Mowning Mamma!" he exclaims... A little too loudly.
He hugs my neck and I bring my arms up around his back as I kiss his cubby cheeks.
"Morning my little jellybean" I say.
"Da-Dadda say, Mawco no go outside. Dadda go in caw" he says as he tries not to stutter. He stutters when he's excited or scared.
"Dadda's gone?" I ask.
"Mhmm, Dadda go bye-bye" he giggles.
"And why's my baby so happy, mm?" I ask as I stroke his hair.
"Mawco stay wif Mamma, al-all aloneeee" he says happily. Silly baby.
"Mmm, you want Mamma all to yourself huh?" I say teasingly.
He giggles and I take the opportunity to tickle him. He rolls over and laughs uncontrollably.
"St-stop! Mamma" he says in between giggles.
I stop tickling him and get out of bed.
"Let's go make some pancakes baby" I say.
"Yayyy, pan pan" he gets off the bed and runs out the room.
I'm still in pain but I try my best to pretend to chase him.
A few hours later.
I finally hear the door open and close and very tired looking Stefano walks in with his jacket on his arm.
He walks in to where I'm sitting on the couch. Marco's on the carpet and his eyes are glued to the cartoons playing on the TV.
"Hey baby" I say as Stefano sits next to me.
He hums and lays down, putting his head on my lap. He stares up into my eyes and flashes me a tired smile.
"Hard day at the office?" I ask.
"You have no idea" he says. He closes his eyes but puckers his lips, asking for a kiss.
I laugh quietly and lean down to kiss him.
Marco adorably gets up from the carpet and walks to me.
"Mamma, oh, Hello Dadda" he says.
Stefano pretends to be asleep and I play along.
"Shh, Dadda's very tired okay baby?" I say.
"Okay, Dadda sleepy. Shh Mamma, don't wake Dadda, undewstand?" he says.
Stefano immediately starts laughing and I join him.
"Dadda no sleeping!" Marco says.
We continue laughing and Marco climbs onto Stefano. He hugs his dad and kisses him on the forehead.
Stefano smiles and hugs him back. He closes his eyes again and so does Marco. I take a picture of them and post it on my insta.
Chiara pov
Jeong and I are currently on our way to Stefano's house. Amara is still pissed at us for making out while Stefano was in a coma. She never said she forgave us or anything, she just greeted us and walked away.
"Don't worry babe, I'm sure my sister has forgiven you by now" Jeong says as he strokes my bare tigh.
"Me?!, you were also there" I say, frustrated.
"Yeah, but it's your brother." He says with a shrug.
I scoff and remove his hand from my tigh. He moves it back and crawls his hand further up my skirt.
"Don't remove my hand love, unless you want to be punished here and now" he says.
"You're just lucky I missed you. You've been gone for a month and a half." I pout.
We stop at a red light and he leans over to kiss my cheek.
"I'm sorry baby. Ughh, she's probably also gonna be mad that I didn't tell her I landed yesterday" he groans.
The rest of the car ride we sit in silence until we finally arrive.
"Do you really think the chicken nuggets are gonna help us?" I ask Jeong as we get out.
"Trust me" he simply says.
He rings the doorbell and after a few minutes Amara opens the door with a sleepy Marco in her arms. So cute.
Jeong holds up the Mcdonalds bag and she snatches it out of his hands before slamming the door shut.
'trust me' he said.
