"Y/n can't you believe it? Tomorrow's our 5th year anniversary" Sandro said excitingly
" I honestly didn't know we'd still be close friends for this long with you being so annoying" i said giggling
"I am NOT that annoying, am i?"
"Yes you are Sands. Believe it or not" i smiled
We parted ways and I decided to go to the grocery store since I don't have much stock left at my apartment
"Excuse me miss do you know where i could buy some carrots? Mag luluto kasi ako ng carrot soup eh" a man asked
I looked at his direction and i was amazed. Who is this handsome gentleman?
"Oh um, down the corner then left and walk straight, you'll see them just above the fridge" i said
"Can you take me there? I'm not really good at directions hehe"
"Alright, follow me sir"
As we walked he started to have a conversation with me
"So are you in a relationship by any chance?" He asked
"No sir, single" i replied
"What about you sir?"
"I'm divorced, my wife had found another soul that she'd like to live with forever."
"I'm so sorry for asking" i said
"No no it's completely fine, i mean our marriage was poor. Hindi namin nararamdaman ang pagmamahal sa isa't isa masyado so pumayad kaming mag divorce" he explained
Nag usap kami hanggang nakarating na kami sa vegetable isle.
"Heto po sir, check out na po ako sa cashier I'll see you around po" i said
"Don't call me sir and don't use 'po' I'm not quite familiar with it when a beautiful lady called me that. Call me bong" he said
"Hmm okay bong" I'll see you around.
Umuwi na ako at kinwento ko to kay Sandro. Nabigla siya nung nabanggit ko ang pangalan na bong, sabi nya kapangalan daw ng tatay nya pero binaliwala na lang namin at natulog na kami
