The world jerked.
(Y/n)'s back slammed against the bare window and Eri immediately buried her face in her shoulder when she held onto her even tighter than ever before. "GUYS!" She screamed for the former users to come out, and come out they did. "Jinko, what's going on?! Earthquakes haven't happened since before quirks were even thought of...we've only learned about them through the text books. Oh fuck!" All of the clutter in the room flew and soared steady about to slam into the girls, but thankfully, Banjo's Black Whip intervened.
"Seems that this was a man made catastrophe (Y/n). These things don't happen anymore thanks to the work of NASA and other Earth studying incorporations, they found a way to prevent natural disasters from happening."
"(Y/n)...what's going on? Is everyone okay?" The two were still on the window, there was still faint rumbling all around. "Don't worry Eri. You don't have to worry about anyone else but yourself right now." 'I have to do something. If the earthquake is man made, it's up to the heroes to stop all this...' The TV flickered on. "Warning! Warning! There is a high level villain on the loose. The same curses that had sought to have been defeated—have been released in all over Japan. Perhaps even in neighboring countries. NASA reports that the Earthquake in fact, didn't come from below."
"But rather, from above the Earth's surface. Heroes are already taking action, please evacuate to your nearest center. I repeat, please evacuate to your nearest center. If this is the villain Ryuk's doing, we don't know what will happen next. We're putting our trust in you, heroes." The TV cut off and (Y/n)'s eyes shined over. "You know what this means (Y/n)." Nana held her hero costume's case in her hands and neared it closer to the girl. But the latter only looked down at Eri, "Eri. I have to go." The little girl became visibly distraught. "But, you're gonna get hurt? Like last time..."
The blue haired girl sucked in a sharp breath glanced at the former users. She looked back at the younger, "No temas cariño. Yo jamás te dejaría así. I won't let you down Eri. I'll come back, for you. Got that?" She pat her head and placed a small careful kiss on her forehead. "Pinky promise?" The red eyed girl stuck her pinky out and the older smiled. Their pinkies linked and curled together, "Pinky promise. Now." Immediately, the emotion in her eyes changed in a sharp flash. In less than a second, she was already clipping on her cape and picking up Eri.
"U.A itself is an evacuation center. You'll stay here with Mirio-Senpai. Okay darling?" (Y/n) rubbed Eri's head comfortingly. "Everything's going to be okay." 'I feel like I'm jinxing it.' All of them, (Y/n), Eri, Barry, Nana and the other former users (in their transparent form at the moment) followed the two girls out of the teachers dorms. Only to be greeted by a deafening roar of the king of the jungle. The king himself was roaring out of pain, and all (Y/n) could see were the wretched curses trying to eat her little kitten (he's in his large form at the moment) alive.
Kitty Kitty made direct eye contact with the sixteen year old's wide—malice filled—eyes. Something was ripping behind them. Like an imaginary rope. A cry slipped past his teeth when his eyes became half lidded and the force in his body was slipping. "Hold her. Don't let her look, and here." She placed her ear gear in Eri's ears and handed her to the materializing Barry. "Oh okay!" The man happily took the child and smiled at her. They walked back inside while the former users went back inside her body. "Don't touch..." She scarily marched towards the overwhelming scene with her quirks raging with her.
Chains shot out of her hand and wrapped around her fingers. In less than a second, the nasty curses trying to defeat the 20 foot tall lion all dispersed into thin air with a flick of (Y/n)'s wrist and a sharp boom. The malice disappeared and was replaced with overspilling worry. "Kitty! Kitty! Are you okay?!" The lion let himself fall onto her, even though the girl caught him and squeezed his fur tightly. He let out a pained whine, "It's okay. I'm here now." Barry came back out and Eri tilted her head at the peculiar scene. An extremely large lion getting hugged by an almost 6' foot tall girl.
Then vibrating?? Peculiar indeed. But what was the positive about it was that the injuries the animal sustained had been steadily healed, thankfully. And meters away, "What the heck?!" Prettily lit bubbles enveloped the revolting curses trying to attack the U.A buildings. And then pop! "Wait...Isn't that (Y/n)'s cat?!" The students were looking from inside the building. Watching the little gray cat menacingly defeat the villains. Shoto and Aizawa gaped, 'Since when could Lucero do that?!' (Y/n) and Eri appeared before he could go on his own way, as well as Kitty Kitty.
"Look it's (Y/n)!!" The class made their way to her, as well as the other hero course students of all grades. "All hero course students, you have permission to engage in this fight. I repeat, hero course students, you have permission to engage in his fight. Everyone else, report to the main building and get ready to evacuate." It was Nezu. "I wish you the best of luck. And see you all on the battlefield." (Y/n) rose an eyebrow, 'Ah. He's gonna fight with us then.' "We gotta move out, it's Ryuk and his curses. And who knows what or who else'll act because of this." Aizawa sent the girl pointed glance.
"Kitty. Take Eri and Lucerito to Mirio, stay with them." (Y/n) floated upwards and swiftly snatched the gray cat from the ground. Eri was still perturbed, "It won't just be me fighting this time Eri. It's going to be all of us..." She was placed on top of the lion and held the little cat like a comfort object, the cat itself had an unimpressed look. Eri looked back and watched the students of the Hero Course gather behind the girl. Preparing themselves.
"Okay..."
"Alright. Go Kitty. Now."
The lion took off. (Y/n) dropped back down and clicked her rings together. "Alright, third years listen up! You guys will take points west, northwest and southeast! Second years! Points south, south east and east! And first years, points north, and northeast!! We have to move quickly, the Earthquake already teared down some of our campus so imagine the damage it's already done outside and to the civilians," Aizawa ordered and (Y/n) stepped up. "Our priority at this moment is to evacuate everyone out of Japan safely and get everyone that needs medical help the help they need!"
"Shiketsu, Kestubutsu, Seiai, Seijin, Isamu and other Vocational schools will take part in this operation. We already know this, we have help. So you all have collaborate, don't bring any petty shit-"
"(Y/n)."
"Stuff! Into this mess, we have bigger things to worry about. Now." The metal armor on (Y/n)'s forearms finished materializing. "Let's go. WE DONT HAVE TIME TO WASTE!" Everyone was already agitated and buzzy about the situation, but now they were even more riled up than before. "YEAH!" It's not that they were excited. It was more that they were brimming with determination and diligence to be able to go out there and do something good. All of them, not one by one, all of the hero course student and the teachers, including the principal, moved out.
"Look it's the heroes!!"
"Oh thank god!"
"Please! We need help!"
"Yaoyoro- Creati, Uravity, Froppy. You guys are better at moving people than anyone else, go ahead. I don't know you guys from class B all too well, but you all are on our level. So don't be afraid to take charge of anything."
"Ha! As if. You don't need to tell us that (L/n)!"
"It's Azul right now." She rolled her eyes at Monoma and jumped up onto a building. "What are you doing? You should be down there helping out, (Y/n)." She squatted on the ledge, silently watching everyone scatter around and help the innocent. Thankfully there was more than enough heroes around to help. "I am helping out." She was using her chains to search and take out any trapped people from the rubble. She didn't realize how bad the Earthquake really was. It teared and damaged too much to count and explain. "Let me concentrate a bit okay?"
She slipped her glove off with her teeth and placed her bare hand on the cold surface of the building. "I haven't done this in a while so I need total concentration." The blue haired girl's eyes fluttered shut and her body un-tensed. The bad thing about her doing what she was doing was that her guard would automatically drop for full use. Other than that, a pro, now that she is able to vibrate things to a molecular level, she has more of an advantage with using old techniques. Under the tips of her fingers, everything changed in an instant.
Even the former users felt it, everything, under her watch and feeling. They could feel everything that she could feel, or rather, sense in this situation. The only thing she could hear was her own heartbeat and hurried footsteps of people trying to get away. "Expand." The sensing did as told and spread all over. Reaching the water front where all the chaos was happening. There was the culprit. Ryuk. Muttering and chanting in a language (Y/n) didn't understand, or was it just unstable gibberish that he was speaking? "I'm coming for you, bitch."
She watched- correction, sensed, his head snap towards the direction of her voice. There was a flash of plain fear, but it hurriedly mixed in with welling bloodlust. She snapped out of it when seven powerful people went within range, literally hurtling at her. "Oh fuck-!!" She was tackled off the ledge. Right before a large curse with three heads demolished the exact building she was squatting at. "(Y/n)!!" The Seven Deadly Sins had appeared. "Yo!!" She greeted as they flew through the air, but all of a sudden, a large red—semi transparent—disc caught them. 'Confusion??'
The large disc then changed its angle, the eight now stood on the red disc, mid-air mind you. Meanwhile, the massive three headed curse started attacking. "What's the plan (Y/n)?" Mikoto questioned as they got in fighting positions. The dumbfounded girl furrowed her eyebrows and silently stood up straight. "Well?" The sassy Leorio swung his pistol around as he placed his unoccupied hand on his hip. "Damn hold on. You guys pop out of no where and-" She let her arms drop and slap against her legs. "You know what. Nevermind, alright."
She rubbed her hands together. "Mikoto, Gowther, Zero, you three take the heads. Leorio, Kusuke, Ken, Gloxinia, legs and arms. I'll take the main body." She bent her knees a little bit as her armored forearms advanced into an X stance. "Roger that, Miss.Azul." She hummed at Kusuke's comment. "On go. Three..." Weapons were unsheathed. "Two..." Quirks raged. "Are those the Seven Deadly Sins?? What are they doing here?!" Midoriya questioned from below as he kicked down a low level curse.
"Stay focused nerd!" And Bakugo, whom was also curious, but minded his business, exploded another before it got the green haired boy. And when the heroes looked up..."GO!" The eight shadows leaped off of the disc. "D-Do you have-have any s-s-spare cha-change?-!" The three headed curse was decapitated three times, brutally deprived of its limbs and a gaping hole was blown into its chest. "(Y/n)! Heads up! I think those things are in a flock!" The girl gagged at the nasty smell, but was grateful that the curses disperse into purple dust particles.
Which was probably the only pro of those...things. She arched her back and craned her neck, sure enough, it seemed to be bird like curses. Or rather, human like pterodactyls. It was freaky. "Ew...!" A look of disgust washed over her, Leorio and Kusuke's features. "Zero! Disc!" Ken ordered with his tendrils enlarging behind him. "Batter up Ken!!" The horned boy yelled and proceeded to grin with a mischievous shine of his fangs. Suddenly, the white haired boy mimicked the grin when his quirk leveled up. (Y/n) landed on a roof once more with the rest of the Sins.
The heroes helping the people below and defeating curses left and right looked up in awe. "Woah they defeated that beast in seconds!!" Kirishima gushed and banged his hardened arms together. He dodged a curse with a small body while Mina and Kaminari gushed behind him as well. "So cool...!" Closer to the grey clouds, thick tendrils slammed against the odd human like pterodactyl like curses against the disc. And the disc in the sky itself was elastic, the curses that slammed into it slammed right back down. "(Y/n)! Mikoto!"
"On it!" The sixteen year old took the man by the hand and threw him upwards. She blasted off shortly after. With the shadows of the curses on them as they drew near, the air got hotter and hotter by the second. "Ken! Dodge!" The red haired man commanded the second his hands burst into flames. "Roger that!" The teen dropped down immediately, while also taking the horned boy with him. The flame users smirked at each other with knowing looks in their eyes. In the matter of milliseconds, the sky was blown up in blue and red.
It took some whole seconds for the fire to clear and the curses to disintegrate. "Let's go! Let's go! No time to waste today!" All of them gathered and dropped to the bussing streets. "Zero! Help the heroes with carrying people out, Gowther, Gloxinia, go with him! We have to evacuate everyone out of Japan safely." They nodded and scattered, "I have a favor for the rest of you." Kusuke smiled and rubbed her hair. "What's so doom and gloom Miss.Azul? Go ahead, what's the favor?" Mikoto nodded, "Anything you need." Then Ken and Leorio concurred.
"I need you guys to go to the orphanage. Before the military and national services arrive." The blue haired girl tightened her fists. "Take my brother and his siblings. Take Mr. and Mrs.Hanako too. Don't leave any of them behind." Ken tilted his head, "Where to?" She rose an eyebrow back. "What do you mean?"
"Where do we take them?"
"Take them to U.A..."
"Hey Eri! You feeling alright?" A blonde third year smiled down at the little girl as they walked through the long halls of the school. Thankfully, since U.A is prepared for a lot of things, even random natural disasters since the principal insisted, the main building has an earthquake mode. To which was handy in this situation. "I think so..." It didn't seem like the little girl was holding up too well about (Y/n)'s promise. Kitty Kitty and Lucerito trailed behind the two, in alert and in suspicion of all surroundings. "You think so?" The teen hummed.
"Are you worried about (Y/n)? Because you really care about her?"
"She promised but...what if..."
"What if's are only possibilities, Eri. They're not things that always happens ya' know. Plus...(Y/n) is really strong. Like, super duper strong!" Mirio flexed his biceps with a raised eyebrow and puckered lips. "She doesn't break promises either. Especially pinky ones. I can tell that she really cares about you too Eri, and that's enough motivation for her to not get hurt. I know it is." The little red eyed girl couldn't deny that the reassurance didn't work, because it definitely did. "For me?"
"No temas cariño. Yo jamás te dejaría asi."
Eri wondered what the teen said.
Would she be able to keep up with it? Was real question.
"All points south and east have been evacuated!"
"I wonder where (Y/n) is..." Junior rubbed his sore hands. "Go ahead and go to the other points, let other heroes know the south and east are safe." He patted his peer's backs. "Got it rep!" 'I should tell her that Tia 'Stella's at Shieketsu already. Or I should just find her on my own?' The brown haired boy was getting flashbacks from Kamino. 'Yeah, I should go find her and make sure she's alright.' "Let's move!"
'This is crazy. Decades, no, more time than that, that we haven't had an earthquake. Does this have something to do with the ring of fire? Japan was always prone to them, and Tsunamis...Oh crap! What the hell is that!' Haru, the orange haired reporter of the Daily Planet was vigorously tapping away at his keyboard. Although, him and all of his other co-workers should be evacuating. Most of them decided to stay and keep the world updated on the situation. "Hey Mimi! Go print a shit ton of these papers!" A woman ran over and snatched the stack of papers.
"Got you!" She ran away as he continued to do his work. There were massive amounts of messages and emails, videos, and other reports steadily going into the system hot. It was all over Japan, the earthquake and the damage that followed it. People took videos of heroes being heroes and heroes being shit heroes. But also the villains acting out and or fighting to survive. There was even an atrocious clip of a hero refusing to help a fairly well known villain from a rough situation. It was bad. People say that other people come together in crisis', but it didn't seem the same with their society.
The hero and villain category still exists even with the fact of people knowing a lot of other people are dying and will most definitely die. It was a calamity after all, but it was nasty that even with everything that was happening, heroes were still stingy enough to refuse to help a human. Because categories shouldn't exist when humans altogether are in danger. And that was what the purple eyed man angrily typed on his computer. "We all should get going now, finish your papers and reports before we get on evacuating! Start packing!" The CEO yelled from the other room.
The chatter coming from all over the place increased, as well as the ferocious typing and writing. "I hope there isn't more earthquakes...They're really scary." A meek looking man worried from the corner. Haru froze. "What comes after a large scaled earthquake is a great question Shizome! Well, they're called aftershocks." "We have to evacuate now!" He shot up from his desk after loudly interrupting everyone. "What are you talking about Haru? The earthquake already passed-"
"Aftershocks! Like smaller earthquakes after the big one. I mean, you guys all saw what happened with the big one, imagine it again but only slightly smaller," a co-worker explained. "They can happen minutes, days, weeks or even months after an earthquake. There's no way to anticipate them either, so even if the big one passed already, we should be cautious of what can happen next-"
Time slowed.
A cold sweaty feeling washed over the orange haired man. The inside of his body went hot and his mind went cold. His skin tingled with an inexplicable wave of foreboding. "Oh shi-"
The world jerked.
Ironically, the brass made planet above the media office's building jerked along.
Below, innocent civilians being evacuated and carried to safety dropped and held on to whatever they could as they waited for the ground to stop shaking. And the people inside the office were thrown around like ragdolls with the first jerk. Haru was slammed against his desk, he held onto the stiff wood tightly. "Everyone hold on to anything you can!!" He shouted. "We should've evacuated!!" An employee cried out, distraught with the fact that they could've played it safe and been away from this. 'Damn. There's nothing we can really do about this since the villain isn't here.'
"Just hold on until it passes, everyone!"
"We have to hurry up! Evacuation is almost complete! Points south, east, and west of Japan have been evacuated. All that's left are the curses, and the heroes are already taking care of that!" From roof to roof, multiple of the hero course and other teachers, ran alongside (Y/n). Sweeping up curses for the rest of the support heroes and the police to take better initiative at evacuating civilians. 'We're nearing the bigger part of the city now...I really hope everyone else is okay. And I hope the kids are too.'
The sixteen year old pursed her lips as she slammed two curses against each other and left Bakugo to finish them off with his explosions. "If you guys can keep up, continue to follow me!" Her speed amped up, her classmates followed her lead just as the rest of the heroes did. All while still slicing curses left and right.
"So, this is for (Y/n)?"
"Mhm."
"And you want us to take you to her so you can give it to her?"
"Absolutely."
"No."
"What!! Why not?!" The blue haired girl's twin fumed and clutched the finished Arc Reactor. "I have to give it to her. It'll serve her well while she's fighting that weird overpowered dude!" He argued and Mikoto sighed. "She told us to come here for the sole reason of taking you guys to U.A high, safely. And no way am I gonna let her down." The red haired man shot back. Aito sneered at him. "You got spunk kid," 'No wonder they're siblings,' "But I'm still not taking you." The Sin let the triplets jump on him and proceeded to walk out.
Ken wrapped his glowing tendrils wrapped around Akari, Chiyo, Souta, Saimi, Aimi, Kohako, Hiroshi and Mai. He had to put in some work for more than six tendrils. But he had to admit that it was definitely working so far. Daniel and Kelly went with Kusuke, Kenji and Kouki went with Gloxinia and Mrs. and Mr.Hanako went with Leorio. "You have to let me see her! You know how she is don't you, she'll end up getting hurt, no matter how much she promises." Mikoto clenched his fists, "Stop doubting her. She's your sister, isn't she?!"
Everyone froze.
"What?" The blue haired boy breathed out in utter confusion. But a part of him knew exactly what the Sin was talking about. "Fuck," Mikoto's face scrunched up. He pinched the bride of his nose and let Ken take the trio. "No, no, what are you talking about?" Kouki furrowed his eyebrows. "Yeah, you shouldn't be saying stuff like that if they're not true," Kenji pointed out. "Wait what if they are..." Mai questioned with a small look of realization. "You guys look a lot like each other, same face, same hair, same eye shape..."
"No you're lying. I don't have a family alright! So stop joking around and take me to her!" Aito screamed, ignoring the flashbacks to their eyes glowing and the familiar cries of a woman. "You're not going and that's final-"
He started backing up. "Don't you dare..."
"Aito wait! It's too dangerous!"
"I'm not waiting around anymore when she needs help!" Kouki and Kenji glanced at each other and ran after him. "Gloxinia, come on!" Mikoto signaled him and they both shot away. "This is a lot, whatever. Let's go before another aftershock hits, Mikoto and Gloxi will get them before they go too far." Leorio reassured and led the way to U.A high. "These kids are too quick! They know the terrains better than we do..." The butterfly winged man announced as the two chased after the three oldest kids. "Hey oldies!" Kenji called out with a mischievous smirk, "Watch this!"
All three smirked as a wall of black ink rose in front of them. "See you on the battlefield!!" They jumped into the wall without hesitation and laughed, not knowing what they would get into later on. "Dammit! Teenagers these days..." The two Sins stopped and went back to aid the other two to getting the kids to U.A. "We have to find them later, (Y/n) will be worried if they end up on the battlefield." Not that the battle has even begun to start either way. Loose particles of dust and grime shook off of the buildings where the aftershock was still hitting.
"It's getting weaker now, we should make our way down, safely!" The CEO gestured his employees go follow him down the steps. Meanwhile Haru was busy helping others get up and or healing their small wounds. "There's a center nearby anyway, and there are still multiple heroes below," he recollected and shared with the group. And finally, he was the last person to exit the building. As he looked up, all he saw were cracks all over the concrete walls and shattered windows further below than the story he was on. Farther away, to his left were heroes fighting curses.
And to his right, more heroes approaching. He squinted his eyes and saw a familiar shade of blue. His eyes lit up immediately. He waved vigorously, "(Y/n)!" The latter's eyes stopped on the familiar head of orange hair. "Haru..." Danger Sense blared in her mind at the exact moment metal started to creak and churn loudly. "Holy shit..." Her eyes enlarged. "Hey! The planet is about to fall!" Shoto pointed out, "Go! Go! Go! Help me catch it or just get him out of the way!" They were far, far enough to doubt if they could even make it to the orange haired reporter, clueless one to the danger he was in at that.
"Haru!!!! Run!!!!"
"What did she say? I can't hear her that well..."
The brass planet was plummeting already.
"I said run!!!"
"Huh?!"
"Idiot! Get out of the way!!"
The already clouded sky turned darker with the clouds that chased (Y/n) as lighting burst out of them and hit her. "Watch out!" In less than a second, her speed exploded and she had the planet held up by one hand. The previously unsuspecting reporter sucked in a breath. And the other arm of hers was wrapped around the man, holding him close and below her. "I thought this shit was heavier..." The blue haired girl heard a click of a camera and glanced over. Multiple, all looking. "Stop gaping and evacuate!!" The streets hustled faster with her command.
She pulled Haru up straight while balancing the planet held on her hand. The heroes she was with previously had arrived, "Are you alright sir??" Ochaco questioned, putting some distance between them and the girl holding the world. She smiled and threw it up a little from her hand, then continued to catch it. 'This is cool...' She floated towards the top of the building and placed the planet back in place. "Points north, south, east and west have been evacuated!! Evacuation centers are locking down and locking up for the battle to come!"
"It's only a matter of time, so get ready!"
"This is only the beginning!"
"Only the beginning indeed, (Y/n) (L/n)."
"(Y/n), behind you!!"
"Everyone get down!!"
A bright flash of blue and a deafening explosion occurred the second the blue haired girl turned around.

Have been updating once a week, I apologize for that since I have to get better at managing my schedules and school and writing time, as well as time with my friends and myself. Will be getting a lot of work done during my spring break though, hopefully! Next chapter is when the fight goes down and well, I won't say any more than that! ;)
