(Scarlett x little Lizzie)

Scarlett's pov:
I was watching TV on the couch in wanda and i's shared home. With my baby girl cuddled up asleep on top of me.
Gosh, she is just the cutest thing ever. Her hair was a little messy, her head resting in the crook of my neck lightly snoring.
It was around 4 in the afternoon so my baby should be waking up any minute now.
For a while now I've been thinking about potty training lizzie. I don't mind changing her pull ups at all, but I just think it'd be good for her to learn.
Because I don't think I can keep getting up during the night or early hours of the morning to change my babygirl. Lately I haven't been getting enough sleep. I even started falling asleep at work during my break hours a whole lot quicker then I used to.
I was distracted from my thoughts as I felt Lizzie begin to stir awake. She began whining and her eyes slowly started to open.
"Sshh hi baby, did you have a good naps?" I cooed while patting her butt.
She slowly began rubbing her tired eyes,and I couldn't help but smile down at her.
"Mhm, heyo mama…" she mumbled, probably still tired.my heart absolutely melted. I kissed her head and continued to pat her on the butt,waiting for her to fully be awake.
She let out a cute little yawn causing an even bigger smile to spread on my face.
"Okay baby, can mama ask you a question?" I asked as she looked up at me with her pretty, big green eyes and hummed in agreement.
"Okay,princess, how would you like to do potty training?" I questioned.
She just nuzzled her face into the crook of my neck with a whine. Then I heard her mumble something I couldn't understand.
"Speak up babygirl, mama can't hear you" she then moved her face from the crook of my neck a little.
"No wan mama.." she mumbled louder for me to hear.
"Why not baby? That way you could be a big girl and go potty all by yourself" I encouraged.
She only shook her head and put her face back into the crook of my neck. I sighed knowing this wouldn't be easy.

*a few hours later*
It was now bedtime, and I was currently arguing with lizzie. She was being stubborn and refused to let me potty train her.
"Noooo no wan potty mama" she whined, kicking her legs while sitting at the edge of our bed.
"Princess please? You have too mama can't keep changing you late at night" I begged.
Our bathroom was connected to our bedroom so I wasn't too worried about lizzie possibly tripping or getting hurt trying to get to the bathroom downstairs at night.
Plus I had a night light going at all times during the night. Because Lizzie wakes up at night sometimes and she gets scared of the dark.
And if Lizzie does learn how to go potty she won't need me to change her during the day either. At least not all the time.
"Nuh uh no wan go potty mama." The little huffed again.
"Princess,please? Could you atleast give it a try? For mama?" I asked, giving her my best pouty face.
She then started to giggle at me with her arms crossed. I kneeled in front of her and I put my head in her lap still pouting and now staring up at her.
"Otay otay….buh mama help me?" She asked with a small giggle as I kissed her cheek.
"Of course my sweet baby. Mama will always be here to help you" I smiled knowing I finally won after a very long argument/tantrum. I had finally won.

"Okay baby girl come with mama" I got up, extending my hand for her to take.
She gently placed her hand in mine, I led us both to the bathroom and I opened the toilet lid then turned to face lizzie.
Her eyes drifted to the toilet, she whimpered and did grabby hands towards me.
I quickly picked my baby up and settled her on my hip.
"What's wrong baby girl?" I asked softly.
"No wan mama…" she mumbled into my neck.
"Why not princess?" I asked.
She just whined and buried her face deeper into my neck.
"Scare, mama…" I heard her whisper faintly.
"What do you mean scare baby?" I asked, moving my head away from her so I could look at her properly.
"Scawy mama.." she said with a wavering voice. She sounded as though she was about to cry.
And I couldn't let my baby cry. So I then quickly hushed her and began bouncing her around a bit.
"Hey,hey sweet girl, there's nothing to be afraid of baby" I cooed.
"Mama will be here with you the whole time princess, I promise" I assured the poor girl in my arms.
"Tan ou help me mama?" She asked in the most adorable voice.
"Of course princess" I then removed her from my hip and placed her on the ground.
"Baby? Can mama take your pants off?" I asked gently.
Lizzie hummed in agreement while I bent down to help her take her pants off. I felt her hold onto my shoulder for support.
"Mama I do it now" she said as she kicked her pants off.
"Okay big girl" I chuckled. Lizzie was about to slip her underwear off but then stopped and looked at me. I looked back at her with confusion as to why she wasn't taking her underwear off.
"What's wrong sweetheart? You need mama's help after all?" I asked with a smirk.
"No, I do it. Buh mama no ook!" She pouted.
"Ohh okay princess. I'll turn around that better?" I said whilst turning to face the wall so lizzie would feel more comfortable.
"Mhmm" I heard her hum. Eventually the sound of urine hitting the toilet water filled the room.
"Mama…"
"Yes baby?"
"I need help pease" she asked in a hushed voice. I raised an eyebrow and said with a light laugh "oh now you need mama's help?".
"Mamaa.." my baby whined. I smiled then turned back around to face her. She had the cutest doe eyes and little pout I had ever seen.
I smiled softly at her and kneeled down in front of her and gave her a kiss to her cute little nose.
"Okay,okay baby girl hold on" I cooed, reaching for some toilet paper to help her wipe.
After that I helped her wriggle her underwear and pajama pants back on. But just as I was about to flush, I felt a tug at my shirt.
"Mama…"
"Yes baby?"
"Tan I flush?"
" Oh right yeah of course you can princess." I said moving away from the toilet and letting lizzie flush.
I watched as she stared down into the toilet bowl and waved.
"Bye bye pee pee" she said. I couldn't help but giggle at her cuteness. 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 I thought to myself while shaking my head.
I walked over to Lizzie and swooped her off of her feet.
"Yaaayy baby you did it! That wasn't so bad right?" I cooed while kissing her face anywhere I could.
She began laughing uncontrollably and she started begging me to stop. Eventually I did and then plopped her back onto the ground.
"Okay baby, time to wash your hands" I added. Leaning over past lizzie I turned the faucet on and grabbed the bottle of liquid hand soap.
"Here baby roll your sleeves up" I instructed. She then wiped her hair out of her face and pulled her sleeves up.
She offered both her hands for me to pump the soap in.
"Alright now scrub them together princess, like this" I pumped some soap into my hands as well so I could show my baby how it's done. She copied what I did and I couldn't help but smile.
"Okay now rinse your hands under the water baby" i told her in a soft tone.
"Otay mama….eehh! It's cold!" She squealed
"I know baby but come on. You have to wash all that soap off" i giggled. Lizzie washed her hands pretty quickly then I washed mine after.
"Taa daa now were all clean my love" I smiled at her. She reciprocated with a smile of her own which I internally awed at.

Lizzie's pov:
Mama and I had just finished washing our hands, so they could be nice and clean.
I yawned on accident and mama noticed.
"Tired baby?" She asked me. I nodded my head in response.
"Okay princess let's quickly dry our hands okay?" Mama asked.
"Otay mommy" I yawned again. I was feeling pretty sleepy and I just wanted cuddles with mama.
Mama grabbed a small towel and dried her hands and then she helped me dry my hands too. I did grabby hands wanting mama to pick me up and take me to bed.
"Mama wan sleepies" I mumbled while nuzzling my face into mama's neck.
"Okay baby let's go to bed" I heard mama say. But I was too busy slowly falling asleep. I felt mama put me down onto the bed and I was about to whine but then I felt mama climb into bed as well.
" mama cuddles?" I whined
"Of course my baby, come." She then opened her arms for me and I shuffled closer and snuggled really close to mama.
"I'm so proud of you baby for using the potty" I heard mama say.
"Anku mama" I thanked basically half asleep. Mama chuckled and I felt her arms tighten a little around my waist and she pulled the blankie over us.
"Do you want your paci baby?" Mama gently asked.
"Mhmm yes pease mommy" I mumbled into the crook of mama's neck. I felt mama reach into the drawer of our night stand and pull out a winnie the pooh themed paci.
I opened my eyes, then opened my mouth as soon as I saw my favorite paci. Mama slipped it in and almost immediately the sound of quiet suckles filled the room.
"Good night my baby, sweet dreams, I love you" she whispered. I felt her lips press against my forehead in a gentle kiss.
"Night night mama, i ove ou too…"

Scarlett's pov:
And she's out. My baby has finally drifted off into what I hope is a good sleep. I yawned and checked the time on the alarm clock next to me on the nightstand.
Apparently it was 10 o'clock. I couldn't stifle the yawn that made its way out of my mouth.
Eventually I fell asleep all cuddled up to my baby girl. She is just the cutest little thing I have ever seen.
Hopefully she will get used to going potty over the next couple days.
I love her so much there's no other person I'd rather have in my arms than her. 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘻𝘪𝘦.
