Next day Karishma opens her eyes and looks at the time showing 7 in the morning....then she turns to other side where her sister is sleeping peacefully....she smiles seeing her then last night incident flashed in front of her eyes...she quickly gets up and tries to think about what really happened...Karishma thought maybe it's all just a dream....maybe she is thinking too much and nothing happened yesterday....she relax herself and then lay down in half position next to Haseena and keeps a hand on her head....then gets panics feeling Haseena is burning....she keeps her palm on her forehead and checks realized that she is having a fever. She tries to wake her sister but she doesn't open her eyes.... she immediately runs out the hall to call doctor and also to inform about her to the household people...
Doctor checks Haseena while Karishma and Aman were standing beside the doctor.... after checking the doctor writes the medicine and turns to their side...after giving the injection to her....
K – Doctor sab thik tho haina....
D – ji bikul thik hai...gabrane ki koi jarurt nahi hai.....Haseena ji ko fever huva hai aur kuch nahi..lagtha hai yaha ke climate unke liye thik nahi laga hoga that's why she is unwell...her temperature is 108 so its ok but you have to keep an eye on her....aur unki body bhi thodi weak hai tho thode din keliye bed rest kare tho bahut accha hoga...
K – par ye acchnak hi kyu...kal tho ye thik thi fir...
D – ji kabhi kabhi hotha hai...climate change...ya paani ke karan ya koi stress ke karan hotha hai....chinta ki koi baat nahi hai..baas unhee rest ki jaurt hai aur kuch nahi...maine jo medicines diya hai usse do din tak Haseena ji ko dijiye...aagar usse bhi thik nahi huva tho we have to take her to hospital par mujhe lagtha hai uski jaurt nahi hogi par its suggestion so better she takes a complete rest...
After giving them description Doctor goes from there along with Aman and Karishma sits beside her with tears in her eyes...as she can't see her sister like this. She slowly strokes her hair loving and calls her sweetly...Haseena slowly opens her eyes and looks at her baby sister.....she smiles weakly and tries to get up....but Karishma stops her....
K – di apko aaram ki jaurt hai....
H – ( weak voice ) lakin hume huva kya choti..
K – ( hugs her lightly ) kuch nahi di apko bhukar hai....tho apko aaram ki jaurt hai....
H – ( slowly closes her eyes due to injection ) thik hai....
Haseena sleeps and Karishma caress her head lovingly....then Aman knocks the door and Karishma nods her head to come inside....Aman comes and gives her the medicine....
A – Doctor ne kaha ki Haseena ji ko rest ki jarurt hai aur darne waali koi bata nahi hai.....
K – pata nahi acchnak di ki tabiyat kharab kyu huva...kabhi aise huva hi nahi..
A – sab thik ho jaayega....abhi unhee rest karne dethe hai..dadi ne breakfast keliye bulaya hai...tum fresh ho kar inche aa jaana....
Karishma nods her head and Aman goes from there closing the door behind....Haseena in sleep keeps her head on her chest and Karishma adjust herself so that she can sleep well....after sometime she comes down after getting fresh and sees everyone at dinning area....she comes and sits beside grandmother...
GM – abhi Haseena kaisi hai..
K – thik hai Dadi....baas so rahi hai...( sadly )
F – thik ho jaayegi....chinta mat karo.....
GF – haan beta.....
K – ji ( and starts to eat silently )
A – vaise tum chaha tho aaj hum bahar jaa sakthe hai...aaj church me prayer hai...sab log vaha hi honge...
K – nahi Amaan....nahi hum nahi aa raha hai.... hum aaj di ke saath hi raha haina...jab tak vo thik nahi ho jaathi tab tak humare saase aataki rahangi
A – samjh saktha hoon...koi baat nahi...vaise ye prayer shaam ko hogi....tho uske liye hum vaha jaana hoga prepare karne isliye hum sab vaha hi honge...aur aaagr Haseenaji thik huvi tho shaam ko usse le jaayege...taki usse fresh feel ho..
K – sure....ye bahut hi acchi idea hai...
After finishing their breakfast everyone gets ready for the church while Karishma is at home....she takes the plate for Haseena and goes to her room....everyone left the house except for Aman who is busy with some work....and staying in the house for while....Karishma enters the room and sees Haseena still sleeping...she keeps the food at the side table and sits beside her....she wakes her up again...
Haseena opens her eyes and smiles seeing her Karishma...she gets up and lays in half position....she feels weak all over the body and asks for water as her throat is so dry...Karishma helps her to drink water and checks her temperature....she feels fine now except for the weakness.....Karishma keeps the glass and holds her hand firmly...
K – di aap thik tho hona...
H – ( weak tone ) haan bacha hum thik hai....baas thoda weak behasoos ho raha hai....
K – di aagar apko yaha thik nahi lag raha hai tho kyu na hum vaapas chale jaaye...I know hum yaha ek assignment ke liye aaye hai par jabse aaye hai tabse aap thik nahi lag rahi hai...
H – ( cups her face ) hum thik hai baacha...shyd ye sab naya jagha ke karan hi ho raha hai tho chitna mat kijiye...hum yaha apke saath time spend karne aaye hai....par lag raha hai ki humare vaijse apko bhi taklif ho rahi hai...( sadly )
K – nahi di aisa nahi hai...hume apki fikar hai....aur rahi baat taklif ki tho tho plzz aa apne dhyaan rakiye...vohi humare liye bahut hi badi baat hai....( with cracking voice )
Haseena rubs her thumb on her cheeks and kisses her forehead....Karishma hugs her tightly and tears starts to flow which is was holding for long time....Haseena smiles at her antics and rubs her back to clam her down.....then after sometime Haseena fresh up and eats her breakfast....then Karishma gives her medicine.....they talk for some time and then again Haseena sleeps and Karishma goes down as she don't want to disturb her sleep...while coming she noticed Aman is still working something in his laptop...she washes the plate and comes outside that's when her eyes fells on the family who were walking near by the house...she again feels strange about it and thought to ask about this unknown thing to Aman....
K – Aman...kya tum free ho...tumse kuch puchna hai...
A – ( keeping the laptop aside ) haan pucho...
K – ye tumare town...inthne ajjeb kyu hai..i mean aise tho maine kabhi dekha hi nahi hai..
A – ( smiles ) matlab tumne notice kiya..
K – of course notice kiya....mujhe ye baat kal se dimag me chal raha hai...tumse kuch pucho usse pehale hi kaam me lag gaayi...
A – well pucho...jo bhi pouhna hai..
K – yahi ki tumhare town me bacche sirf ladke hi kyu hai...maine kal bhi notice kiya tha...aur aaj bhi...pehale laga ki shyd kuch families baache aise hoge...par yaha tho haar family ke saath aise hi hai...aise kyu..( with curious )
A – ( gets up and comes near her ) well yaha ka do reason hai....pehale ye hai ki... ye town cursed hai...
K – what...!!! Are you serious...?
A – ji haan...meri dadi kaha karthi thi ki bahut saal pehale yaha ladkiye bhi born huva karthi thi....par uss wqt huva ki kuch logo ne ladkiye ke saath misbehave karena shuru kiya..kahi logo ne usse rokne ki koshish ki lekin unthna nahi kiya...kisi bhi ladki ko chod the nahi the aur jab maan kiya unke piche hi pad gaaye....fir ek din kuch ladke ne ek ladki ke saath inthna bura kiya ki koi maa – paap kabhi soch hi nahi saktha....( takes a brief sign and Karishma closes her eyes in disappointment ) jaise unki bhook mit gaayi unn logo ne uss ladki ko zinda jaala diya aur ye baat unki maa-paap ko pata chal gaaya...unke family ne unhee saza dene ki maag ki par humari town ke logo ne uss baat ko serious nahi liya..bolne lage ki ye tho chal tha raha tha aur unhone koi support nahi kiya..bas chota punish diya jail me daal kar aur vo log kuch din me bahar bhi aa gaaye aur apne zidhagi me aage badne lage....ye baad uss ladki ke maa – paap ko pasad nahi thi aur tab unhone gusse me iss whole town ko curse kar diya ki yaha ke logo ko kabhi koi ladki born nahi hogi aur hum sab bahut hi tadapege iss baat ko leke...kyuki aagar koi ladki nahi hogi tho generation aage kasie jaayegi....aur logo ne kisi ladki ki koi izat nahi ki...issi gusse me ye sab kaha unhone....pehale log iss baat ko mazk me leene laage fir dekha ki kuch saalo me ladke aane lage aur kisi ko ladki nahi huva tab se log uss baat ko maane lage aur sorry ke thor par haar ladki ko respect dene laage taki ye curse chala jaaye...humesha keliye....
K – ( who is listening to him silently ) aur iss baat ko tum maan the ho..
A – well...mai maana kartha tha kyuki hum sab ko bachpan se ye kaha kar baada kiya ki ladkiyo ki respect karni chaiye nahi tho aise hi kuch hoga...par ye logo ki maan ki baat hai....par scientific ki baat ho tha...bahut saal pehale yaah ek radioactive plant huva kartha tha..yaha ke kuch galath experiment ke karan blast huva aur uska effect pure town me faal gaaya....tabse hi ye sab ho raha hai....research karne se ye baat saamne aayi ki uss radioactive ke karan hi ye sab ho raha hai..kyuki aaj uska tak affect nahi gaaya...aabhi bhi uski waves yaha hai....ussi waves ke karan hi humare ke andhar ki immunity me kuch problem ho gaayi hai isliye humare yaha sirf ladke hi born hothe hai...
K – hmmm...ye tho kabhi humne sunna hi nahi..
A – well iss bat ko humare representatives ne chupa kar raka taki logo humare town me bad impression na mil jaaye..kyuki vo iss town baada karna chahathe hai...vaise bhi ye jagha choti hai aur iski population bhi....yaha ke ladke padai ke baat bahar chale jaathe aur yaha par vo log shaadi kar the hai...shaadi hone ke baad haar couple yaha aatha hai rahane lagtha hai...humare town ke log unki welcome bahut ache aur izat ke saath karthe hai taki jo bhi ladki yaha aathi usse yaha safe feel ho......yaha sab kuch hai bas iska solution nahi hai...
K – fir tum logo ne doctor ko dekhaya kyu nahi...
A – sab kuch karke dekh liya....according to doctors report we all are fine....aur unka bhi kahana hai ki ye sab uss waves ki vajise hi ho raha hai...pehale hum sab ko ajeeb lagne laga fir dheree dheree kar ke sab thik hone laaga....jab mai chota tha tho puri jagha ek boys scout lagna laga....humne tho bahut maza kiya hai...aur accha bhi lagatha par usse bhi dhuk bhi hotha kisi aur kiya huva mistake hum sab saza kaat raha hai...ab hum sab ne isse adopt bhi kar liya hai...
K – kabhi tho koi ladki born huvi hogi..
A – haan 2 saal pehale...ek family me huva tha..jasie ye news pure town me fala tho log celebrate karne lage par kuch din hi uski mout ho gaayi hai...doctor ka kahana hai ki she had very weak heart....par isi umeed me baite hai ek din humare yaha choti choti princess jauru aayege...( smiles )
Karishma too smiles and also tries to digest the new information....then after talking for sometime Aman goes out saying he has some work and will directly meet them at the church....Karishma makes a tea for her sister and goes to her room...she opens the room and finds her sister laying half position on bed...Karishma calls her sweetly and Haseena opens her eyes and smiles seeing her baby sister...
K – ( giving her tea ) aap kaise hai di...tabiyat thik haina..
H – ( drinks the tea ) hum thik hai...ab better feel kar raha hai...
K – ( keeps a hand on her forehead ) chalo bhukar tho nahi hai...
H – vaise ghar inthna shaat kyu hai...sab log kaha hai..
K – ji di sab log bahar hai...vo actually aaj church me prayer function hai tho vohi gaaye hai...aur hume bhi invite kiya hai....aaj raat tak chale waali hai..
H – ( keeps the glass aside ) hum bhi chale apke saath..
K – par di aap abhi tak thik nahi ho...
H – haan hum thik nahi hai..par hum bahar jaana chahathe hai....ghar baite bore ho raha hai...aur bahar jaayege tho fresh air bhi le sakenge..aur aap tho haina humare saath baas thodi der plzz....( making puppy face )
K – achha thik hai baba...chalthe hai..vaise bhi shaam hone waali hai..aap fresh ho jaiye fir kuch kha kar nikal the hai..okay...
Haseena smiles and slowly gets down...as she too weak to move Karishma helps her...after getting fresh both comes down had some light food and goes out to enjoy the function which is organised by the town people....Haseena is feeling better after coming out and both were slowly walking towards the church...Aman family already saw them joins and shows some places to girls....Karishma gets busy with Aman and talks with some people while Haseena is sitting with Grandmother and watching the people around her...she too noticed about the family with only boys except for the girls...she thought to ask later as she is feeling low now and concentrates surrounding....some people offered her some tea as they also comes to know about her health...
After sometime everyone gets inside the church and attains the function...then later all gets busy with talking, playing and chatting.... Karishma went to other side to get some water for her sister and all were enjoying the night.... suddenly they all hear someone screaming somewhere near the church.... Everyone froze in their place hearing the noise and all runs towards outside where the sound is coming...Karishma too runs outside along with Aman...they come out of the church and all gathers around the place. Karishma and Aman reaches there and couldn't see what is happening in the front as many people are standing around something.... Aman ask the crown to move and Karishma allows him...when they clear the crowd and comes at the front...their breath stops seeing the scenery in froth of them...both Karishma and Aman exchange looks...
They looks down towards the man who is laying on the ground lifeless with pool of blood....looks like someone stabbed him to the death....
