"How- Was I that obvious?", taehyung asked with wide eyes as he sat up and mentally swore at himself when jungkook gave him a small nod.
"Forget it, Kimmie. I just wanted to know-
"I never lie… and I don't want to lie in this matter too… I do like you ,koo. Like, a lot. I didn't, not even in my wildest dreams, thought that such a day would come in my life… the day I'd be confessing my feelings for someone… to that someone",he chuckled shyly.
"K-kimmie… First of all, thank you. It would be a lie if I say that I didn't feel happy when you said that you liked me. It's always a nice feeling to know that someone likes you. But Kimmie?",though jungkook was smiling, his eyes told a different story. With his eyes filled with unshed tears, he continued after clearing his throat.
"But you won't feel the same if you come to know about my past. I'm unlovable, Kimmie. You like me with your views on me from afar. You don't know the real me-
"Then what's the real you, koo?",by now taehyung was very much angry at that sorry excuse of a human. What did he even do to his koo that he thinks like this of himself.
"I'm not a good person, Kimmie. Like, basically not a person who's inviting… Hmm… I'm a fun person for a hi-bye meet. But for a family, I'm unfit-
"That minjae guy! I hate him! I hate him so much! I really want to snap his neck and make it soggy-
Jungkook's world stopped as soon as he heard minjae's name coming from taehyung's mouth.
"How did Kimmie know about him? How long does he know? Wait- Didn't he say the person he loves is just out of a toxic relationship? And the person he loves- wait a damn minute? How does he even-",at this rate he even forgot to breathe. He clumsily caught taehyung by his shoulders who instantly stopped his long rambling session about his urges to torture that bastard.
"H-how d-do you- F-from when do you know about... about m-minjae?",he managed to ask and that's when realisation hit taehyung.
"Your mouth has no self control,tae!?",he mentally cried as he looked at jungkook who was eyeing him with his sorrow filled eyes.

"You even know about my relationship. How? Please, Kimmie. Tell me",his voice held so much desperation that taehyung instantly fell into hatred. That moment, he took an oath that he must never let his koo experience anything like this. Whether he accepts his love or not, it's secondary. He swore to himself that he will never let his koo sound like this to anyone at any case and sealed his promise with a hug.
"Remember the first time I stayed at your apartment,koo?",he asked and continued when he felt the smaller male who was resting his head on his shoulder nod.
"I heard his name when you had the nightmare, koo. And moreover, sometimes you can be really obvious.", He said and smiled softly at the bunny male who was now looking at him as he tilted his face from its place- that is from taehyung's shoulder.
"And you still like me? Even after knowing that I was in a relationship like that?", He asked and if it was any other situation, taehyung would've cooed loudly. Jungkook with a rosy nose is the cutest and taehyung would fight anybody who says otherwise.
"Of Course I do? What change would it make if you were in a relationship? I don't see any problem?",he asked as he tucked the stray hairs behind the rosy ears of the younger.
"How cute!!", taehyung was in loss of his uwus while jungkook just felt a different emotion when he saw the adoration in taehyung's eyes for him.
"It's not just a relationship, Kimmie. It was a toxic relationship. You do know how it'll be rig-
"Listen to me ,koo. I fell in love with you and I don't think it will ever change just because of your past relationship. I don't really need to tell you this. You clearly know how much of a lonely man I was. It was my choice to be like that. I wanted to be alone and you know how much of a strong mindset I have. Even my strong willpower was not able to stop me from falling for you. Do you think that your past can? If anything I just want to throw that ex boyfriend of yours-
"Ex-husband", jungkook who was fondly looking at the rambling male, corrected and chuckled softly when taehyung stopped for a second before continuing.
"Umm… yeah- that ex-husband of yours into the torture cell-
"How do you know that he's the one to be blamed, Kimmie? It was a relationship. Two people were involved in it. Which means, it might be me who did the blunder?",he asked fondly and couldn't help but smile at the now pouting male who shook his head continuously in disapproval.
"Who knew that 'the Kim taehyung' would be a pouting cuddly bear with a cute boxy smile",he thought as he pinched taehyung's cheeks lovingly.
"You're so cute",he couldn't help but coo but blushed furiously when taehyung replied, "not more than you" and Damn! Jungkook just wanted to faint then and there. It was all new to him and everything happening to him all at a time is something really injurious to his poor heart.
"And no! I would beg to differ", jungkook was totally confused by the sudden reply but oh-ed when he understood what taehyung was saying.
"I can clearly tell that the bastard was the one to be blamed and maybe killed if needed-", taehyung smiled sheepishly when he heard a throat clearing sound from jungkook who was now glaring at him.
"Alright, I exaggerated a bit there. But anyways, I know you, koo…. I know who you are.",he said as he cupped the smaller male's face in between his large hands, making him look pouty.
"And even if I don't know anything about your past and how much of a blunder you were in that relationship, I can swear on my life that you can never hurt someone, not even unintentionally. So it is clearly him to be blamed here.",he said as he planted a small kiss on his forehead, instantly making both of them blush but still, he refused to move his hands away.
"Moreover, you even got the green flag from my love expert",he wriggled his eyebrows which earned a giggle from the younger.
"Where were you all these days?", Jungkook sniffled as he held the hands which were holding his face to which taehyung just smiled softly with tears in his own eyes.
"You know, koo? I didn't want to confess my feelings like this. At Least this soon",He said as he caressed his cheeks with his thumbs.
"Seems like you cannot be trusted with secrets", jungkook joked and giggled in between his tears when taehyung pinched his cheeks playfully.
"Koo~ I was trying to be romantic here",he whined which only made jungkook to giggle furthermore. It was a jungkook thing to joke around and bring a smile on his loved ones whenever they don't feel good. He has never liked his people crying and if he's the reason behind their tears, then it's a big no!
"Alright alright",he giggled softly as he gently wiped off the tears which flowed from taehyung's eyes.
"You made me fall in love and I wanted to do the same to you,koo. I wanted to slowly bring you out of your trauma and make you feel that it is okay to fall in love again. You made me understand that and now it's my turn. It's my turn to make you understand that there is a 'happily ever' after even after a toxic relationship-", taehyung couldn't complete it when jungkook hugged him tightly.
"I was trying my best not to cry but you had to be good with your words",he sobbed like a baby and taehyung couldn't help but chuckle at that in between his tears.
"Why are you so cute?",he asked but yelped and chuckled when jungkook pinched him on his waist.
"You are asking me that?",he heard him grumbling which only made him chuckle loudly, making the bunny a whining mess.
"I will never expect you to accept my proposal immediately, koo. I know that it's really hard for you and I respect that. But… will you give me a chance, koo? Will you give us a chance?",he asked as he looked down, afraid of rejection.
"Kimmie?", jungkook called as he made him look at him by his chin.
"You won't ask me about my past? You're straightaway asking me for a chance?", Jungkook asked to which taehyung just shook his head.
"It's your wish to tell me or not, koo. But keep one thing on your mind. Even if you tell me, it won't change my liking towards you in any way. If anything, my urge to kill that man will only increase",he chuckled at the giggling younger, which turned into a fond look.
"Koo? Am I your type?",he suddenly asked and as if on cue, jungkook instantly turned into a ripened tomato.
"Yah!",he slapped the shoulder of the oblivious male who just looked at him with utter confusion.
"Stop looking at me like that?", jungkook whined as he covered his face with his smol hands.
"Huh? What-
"You know what? Just continue. You were asking?",he mumbled as he glared at the other who instantly shut his mouth from asking further questions.
"Alright… um… am I your type, koo? Do you think you'd like me? Like as a partner-
"You're rambling", taehyung instantly stopped himself when his lips came in contact with a small beautiful finger.
"You're everything I had ever wished for, Kimmie", and taehyung was afraid that his heart would beat out of his chest at this rate.
"Then let me court you, koo",he asked and though he sounded really genuine, jungkook couldn't help but giggle at his cute antics.
"Don't laugh~ I'm really new to this", taehyung whined but gasped when he realised what he just said. He jerked his head up and looked at the younger who was still smiling at him which made him sigh in relief.
"In a way I'm new to this too, Kimmie.",he smiled before sighing softly.
"To be honest, I don't think I'm okay with getting into a relationship anytime soon. And you know? I really wanted to stop you as soon as I confirm that the person you were talking about is me so that you won't face a heartbreak because of me. But… Can I be selfish this one time, Kimmie? I want to experience what my parents have but is it too much to ask?", He sniffled.
"Not at all, koo. It is not selfish in the first place but if your happiness comes with being 'selfish', it is always okay to be selfish once in a while.", taehyung smiled which only widened when jungkook smiled back at him through tears.
"Court me, taetae. Make me understand what it is like to be loved and to love",and was instantly brought into a bone crushing hug with a series of thank yous which made him giggle loudly but will the mischievous baby carrot leave his Kimmie alone in this situation? Where he's crying and all? Never!
"You were so hot when you were jealous and possessive of me, my Kimmie taetae~", and that's how a very much whiny taehyung came into the picture making him giggle loudly.
