Perhaps Listening isn’t all bad
It may not always be such a burden
Sometimes it’s simpler than Speaking
Listening can be a distraction
A lovely one
And it can help you to forget about you
When you really don’t want to think about you
Listening helps you put others before yourself
And that is a valuable lesson many Speakers have yet to learn
