I sung along with Tems & Future. I can not lie, future did his thing on this song, got my ass replaying it every day.
"CHEYENNE TURN THAT MUSIC DOWN" My mom yelled.
"My bad ma" I yelled, turning it down. I was getting ready for school right now.
Since me and Hakeem aren't talking right now, i just drive myself. he said he wanted to talk today though.
I walked downstairs, saying goodbye to my mom and sister then walked out the house to my car, starting it and driving to school.
I walked into the classroom seeing hakeem sitting with a bunch of "popular kids" i rolled my eyes, going to my desk, and putting my head down.
I Felt something hit my head, seeing it was pencil, i looked up and saw they whole group laughing. normally i woulda said some shit but i'm tired and careless rn, i so just put my airpod's in clicking "Baby boy" laying back on the desk.
I walked out of first period, going to my second period class, as jaylen walked up to me.
"Wassup Chey" He said.
"Hi jj" I slightly smiled.
"wrong wit u" He asked.
"Nothing i'm just tired" I said.
"We'll wake up" He said, shaking me.
"Stop" I laughed, as he kept shaking me.
"Chey" Hakeem called out, and i rolled my eyes.
"What u want" I asked, me and jaylen turned around, facing him.
"Can we talk, alone" He said, eyeing jaylen.
"Whatever, i'll catch u later chey" He smiled.
"Bye jj" I said.
"What hakeem, im finna be late to second" I said, looking at the time.
"Look, can we please talk later, around lunch" He said.
"Sure i don't care, i'm finna be late, bye" I said, walking away.
Second period went by slow ash but it was finally lunch time and i was starving.
I walked into the lunch room, going to our table, seeing Bella, Makayla, James and Clarence, but i didn't see Elijah and Samiyah, or Hakeem.
"Where Samiyah and Elijah" I said, eating my chips, looking around, as i saw a girl all leaned up on Hakeem.
"CHEY" i heard Clarence yell, snapping me out my thoughts.
"What" I said.
"I said they left school a while ago, Samiyah wasn't feeling good, and Elijah took her home" Clarence said.
"Oh alr" I said, putting my attention back on Hakeem, as that girl whispered something in his ear as he smiled. i rolled my eyes getting up.
"I'm finna go home, my stomach starting to hurt" I said, getting up and walking out the cafeteria, towards the office.
"Aye chey" I heard Hakeem yell, as i continued waking, until he caught up to me, grabbing my arm.
"What, damn" I rolled my eyes, snatching my arm back.
"I wanted to talk to you about us" He said.
"There's nothing to talk about we done" I said, about to walk away.
"Look, i know we haven't talked for 2 weeks but for real, you wanna end it like this" He said.
"Yes, you all hugged up on girls and shit, seem like you doing perfectly fine without me" I said.
"You coming for me when you all hugged up on that nigga jaylen" He said.
"I told you, we was just friends, i can hug my friends nigga, plus i ain't whispering shit in his ear, and flirting all in his face, like yo hoe ass doing" I semi-yelled.
"Whatever, you got it" He said.
"Ya i got it, cause i ain't do shit, all this over me talking to a friend, you the one that took this shit to far, ion care if you all on people, but you ain't finna have me waiting and looking stupid" I said.
"You can lose my number, ion wanna talk to yo ass ever again" I said walking away.
I signed myself out at the office, then got in my car driving home. i walked into the house seeing my dad on the couch watching Princess and the frog.
"Wassup princesss, bruh just tell her you love her nigga, y'all gon die anyway" my dad yelled.
"Hi dad" I laughed.
"Why you home from school early" He asked.
"My stomach started hurting" I said, eating some chips. as he liked at me like i was stupid.
"Okay, me and my ex got in a argument, so i just kinda left out, im sorry" I said.
"You can't be leaving school like that chey, yo ass gonna get in trouble, but i'll cover for you this one time, now who this nigga that's got you all sad and shit" He asked.
"It's nobody, trust me, i'm going up to my room" I sighed, going up the stairs. i changed out my clothes into some sweatpants and i sweatshirt, putting my hair in a bun before connecting my phone putting on rod wave "By your side" i layed (Ik that's not a word but whatever) down for a while, before i just started crying.
i don't know what i was crying about- wait no i knew exactly what i was crying about, i was crying over a dumb ass boy who i loved, i silently cried myself to sleep finally letting all my emotions out.
I woke up with puffy eyes, i looked at the time and it was 6:13pm i layed in my bed for 30 more minutes, before getting up and grabbing my sketch book.
I crawled a bit to pass the time, before i got bored off it. i grabbed my phone, blocking anything that Hakeem can contact me on, his instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Contact etc. i'm over here crying meanwhile he probably hugged up on some other girl, not even giving me a second thought.
I just decided to go back to sleep, hoping tomorrow would be better then today.
