Park Nabi p.o.v
As I was punching the hell out of Gwi nam he flipped us around and scratched and punched me. I cried in pain until I felt his weight not on me anymore. I opened my eyes and looked to see cheong San fighting him.
"Stay away from her!" He yelled punching him. Gwi nam started attacking him back and tried to gouge his eye out as cheong san cried out in pain.
I gasp and got up off the ground and ran over to them. But before I could make it suhyeok went over and hit gwinam with something. In anger gwi nam attacked him and threw him into some chairs.
I frowned "stay the hell away from me and my friends" I yelled and went to kick him when he grabbed my leg and my eyes widened as I looked at him nervously.
"I'll do whatever I please" he said and started trying to crush my leg. I cried out in pain. He didn't get very far with hurting me because I cheong san punched him in the face making him in the face making him let go of me.
He quickly grabbed my hand and dragged me back to where the others were so I wouldn't be anywhere near gwi nam. We all looked at him.
"Who are you?" He asked looking at us with his bloody face and eye that looked like it was healing. I could have swore his eye looked worse way earlier today.
"Who the hell are you? You're from the one heart club" Dae su said looking at gwi nam.
Gwi nam just looked at dae su and everyone till he looked back at his jacket at the lettering on the back that spelled out '한 마음' (one heart).
"It's me....yeah" gwi nam said smirking smugly at us. "You don't know?" He said as his smirk dropped "How the fuck do you not know me" he said annoyed.
"I know you I said it many times before" cheong san said panting slightly as he started at him "You're the bullies gopher" he said. I could tell it was pissing gwi nam off cause he didn't like being called that.
"I know who you are too....you're my ridiculous asshole of an ex boyfriend" I said frowning at him. His glare he had on cheong san switched to me but I could see his eyes soften slightly he looked almost sad at my words. Before a hard glare was sent right back to cheong san.
"If you try calling me that again. I'll kill you" he said to cheong san his eyes dangerously crazy. The once saddened look in his eyes towards me was gone and anger and hatred was replaced.
"You weren't a gangster and you weren't a good student. And you're not a human and you're not a zombie either." He said frowning at gwinam pushing every one of his buttons.
"Definitely weren't a good boyfriend either abusing Nabi's love for you and then cheating on her. No matter the time or place....you're nothing" cheong san said and I could tell he really struck a bad nerve with gwi nam thanks to this.
"I won't just kill you. I'll gouge both your eyes out and feed your blind ass to the zombies" he growled.
He then looked around "everyone but cheong san and...Nabi can go. Since he wants to say shit about our relationship and protect you all the time. You can suffer and watch me kill him in front of you" he said and my eyes widened.
"There's no way I'd let that happen" I frowned as I glared at him. He scoffed slightly "guess I'll kill you both then...but mainly you" he said pointing his finger at cheong san.
When he realized nobody was moving he looked at all of us "you're all dead" he said and ran forward as I and everyone tried to hold him off from attacking cheong san.
"Guys move!" Joon yeong said as he hit gwi nam in the back with a piece of wood. It ended up breaking into pieces and gwi nam got angry and kicked Joon yeong making him fly away slightly and fall on the ground breaking his glasses in the process.
He then threw everyone off of him and as cheong san got up gwi nam started to punch and kick him across the roof. He started to walk towards cheong san. When su hyeok went and took another piece of wood and quickly hit him in the back with it again shattering it to pieces.
Gwi nam looked at him. He then went and attacked him holding him by his neck. Su hyeok quickly kicked him in the chest causing gwi nam to bend back words making a nasty crunching sound. Which caused me to scrunch my nose. He groaned his eyes looked like they were going to roll into the back of his head.
He slowly got up and started punching and hitting su hyeok once again. I frowned and ran over kicked him off of him causing him to stumble back. He groaned once again and I tried to calm myself since I was feeling strange once again abd my finger started making that cracking sound. but it was hard since he was attacking people I care about.
He ran towards me tackling me to the ground. I screamed and when his face was close I quickly leaned in and bit his face causing him to scream out in pain and start choking me.
"You dumb little bitch! I'll kill you!" He growled as I tried to gasp for air and scratch at his hands trying to remove them. I then heard a lot of cracking sounds and saw namra come over to him pissed and hit him with a piece of the wooden sticks from the fire. She quickly hit him with the burning stick.
He grabbed her by the throat and punched her in the face throwing her to the ground. I quickly gasp for air now that his hands weren't wrapped around my neck.
I went to get up but he turned around and started coming back over to me when nam ra crawled over to him and stabbed him in the leg with a piece of wood. He frowned and took the wood out of his leg and looked at her.
He went and started attacking her since she clung to him. "Let go....let go!" He yelled trying to get her off and kicking her around. He grunted and started to drag her around the roof as he took her body and slammed on the ground again before he went and picked her up and looked at her.
I didn't like what was happening and quickly got up. "You smell nice huh?" He said smirking slightly and namra frowned and started to slap and hit him. He quickly grabbed her arm stopping her. "You and me are on the same side" he said to her.
"I'd say the same for Nabi but she's already proved that she won't join me" he said.
"Come on! Smell me!" He said and tried to pull her closer to prove to her he was a hambie like us.
"Fuck off" she said and grabbed the back of his head and threw him off of her. He rolled and stumbled across the ground before quickly regaining his balance and standing up looking at her.
Su hyeok went over and started to kick and hit him, but gwi nam quickly blocked it and grabbed him by the throat holding him over the edge of the building. I gasp and quickly ran over to him and grabbed him and threw him off the roof as nam ra ran over to us.
"Are you okay?" She asked referring to earlier when he was choking me. I gently felt her fingers brush against my neck to look to see if there was any marks and my cheeks heated up as I tried to avoid her eyes and smacked her hand away feeling shy "y..yeah I'm good" I said softly.
I then looked at su hyeok "Are you okay?" I asked raising an eyebrow slightly as he nodded and thanked me.
"You look like you need a doctor though or something?" He said and gently touched my face. My eyebrows furrowed as I was confused.
"What...do you mean?" I asked frowning. "Gwi nam left a huge cut from your eye down to your jaw..it must have happened when he scratched you" he said gently wiping at it.
I pouted and smacked his hands away "Stop..I got it" I sighed as I took the piece of cloth he gave me and started wiping at it. Su hyeok treated me like a little sister even though we were the same age. It got annoying sometimes.
I walked off to go clean my cut up as best as I could.

After we all calmed down from the events that happened we sat around the fire. Joon yeong tried to fix his glasses. Everyone was whining or groaning in pain at their injuries.
"What the hell is with that gwi nam kid?" Joon yeong asked. He had a cut mark across his nose from gwi nam.
"You said he got bitten" he said as he turned to look at cheong san who was beside me and nam ra who was on the other side. Not that long ago I had gyeong su asking if I was alright and trying to help me.
"I don't know" cheong san shrugged as he looked into the fire. "It looks like he became something totally different" he said.
Su hyeok was holding his neck "I don't think he can die" he said looking over at us. "What if he climbs back up here" wu jin asked worriedly.
"We'll...just have to fight..him again.." I said groaning softly from the pain.
"He's bad enough..." said jimin "I'm scared of Nabi and Nam ra too. You've guys seen them fight before" she said frowning.
Her words caused I and Nam ra to frown or instantly get quiet.
"Well I think it's reasonable to assume they're all halfbies" Dae su said looking at everyone. Until hyo ryeong hit him.
"What?" He said looking at her confused. Jimin then looked over at us "are you sure you two are okay? You wont do that to us right?" She asked.
Who was she calling 'you two' she sounded like she was treating us differently because she was scared. Which caused me to continue to stay quiet in my thoughts. Nam ra gently grabbed my hand and I smiled slightly.
"Would you believe me if I said I wouldn't?" Nam ra asked her, knowing I was hurt by jimin's words and I wasn't going to say anything.
"Why do you have to say it like that. Can you at least try to make us believe you?" Jimin said staring in our direction. "We're going to be together anyway" she said.
"Why are you speaking for everyone..." I said finally speaking up and looking at jimin. Her eyes widened and she looked at me surprised. "W..What do you-" she tried to get out but I stood up.
"Literally your the only one that has an issue about us being whatever we are." I said and crossed my arms "literally everyone else here is fine with us. But you just have to say something because your scared and then treat us differently" I said and scoffed and walked off. I didn't want to be near her I felt like I was going to tear her to shreds if I heard her voice for any longer.
I went and sat down in a chair to cool off. Being half zombie or whatever it totally makes you and you're emotions and urges way different from a normal human.
I sat there for a bit till I heard a sound and I tilted my head looking around confused. I noticed everyone else heard it too and was looking around.
I walked over to them "do you hear that?" I asked pushing some of my black hair out of my face.
"I don't see anything" cheong san said looking around. His eyes then widened slightly "Ah! I hear a helicopter!" He said and looked up at me and I nodded smiling down at him.
Everyone slowly got up and started walking over to the edge of the roof looking around in the sky for the helicopter.
"Fire! Fire!" Cheong San yelled and everyone started scrambling around to grab some of the pieces we used to create a fire with.
"They're coming" wu jin said as he quickly grabbed a stick that was on fire.
"This way. It's this way" Dae su said grabbing a stick just like wu jin.
I went and got a stick and pushed everyone to go faster "Come on quickly. Quickly" I said
Everyone started jumping and shouting as we waved the sticks of fire around. I joined them in trying to hopefully get the helicopters attention.
"Hey over here!" I yelled jumping.
It seems like the people in the helicopter noticed because they started coming our way. They then stopped a little bit above us and dropped down. I stood beside Namra as I felt her pull me close to her. The sound was hurting our ears so we tried to keep our hands on them as much as possible.
Everyone starts to go near them. But they then pull out their guns making everyone back up. The helicopter then flies away and I furrow my eyebrows confused. Where was it going.
"Get down" one of the soldiers said when cheong san stepped forward slightly.
"All of you" they said and I frowned. "Why do we have to do that" I whispered to nam ra. "I don't know" she said softly to me.
"Sir...can you help us please" Dae su said as he continued to hold his hands up in fear.
"Face down on the ground! Get down!" The soldier said pointing his gun. Everyone slowly got on the ground. I didn't want to because it made no sense. I thought they were suppose to help us. But a tug on my shirt sleeve from nam ra made me slowly get down on the ground with her and the others.
The guy started talking into something. " eleven survivor's confirmed" he said as they started coming over to us. "Checking temperatures now" the guy said as they started to check our temperature.
They kept walking over to everyone and checking them and saying clear. It made me worried for I and Nam ra. She quickly covered her eye with her hair that was still red and had veins since hers didn't go away as quick as mine. I gently squeezed her hand "It'll be okay. I won't let them hurt you" I whispered as I felt her squeeze my hand back in response. They then checked Nam ra temperature.
"Temperature is 34.5." The guy said as the other guy came over to me and took my temperature. "That's strange hers is 34.3" the guy said and fear shot through me at those words. I got ready to attack them incase they tried something. "They both have hypothermia providing a warm blanket for the both of them" the other officer said. I quickly sighed in relief.
The other officer quickly gave nam ra a warm blanket and then gave me one. We quickly wrapped them around ourselves. They then walked over to the other soldiers that were here.
"Well rescue you guys after we've retrieved what we need" one of the guys said and I looked up at Nam ra surprised at their words.
"Are we really going to get saved" I said happily as she smiled and nodded.
"You guys can get up now" the officer said. I quickly got up and helped nam ra stand up.
"Are you guys the only survivor's?" The officer asked
"We don't know....there are probably others" cheong san said looking at him.
"We're going down for a few minutes. Wait right here" he said as they started hooking everything up and climbing down the side of the building.
"Not like we have a choice" I muttered sarcastically. We stayed there waiting for a while as gunfire went off. I held nam ra in my arms as she kept her ears covered slightly.
I whimpered when I heard the helicopter come back up to the roof and covered my ears. I saw the guys climb back up the building to the roof where we were.
They started to walk over to where the helicopter was slowly getting closer to the roof until it stopped at a certain point and waited.
"We'll pull you each up one by one. Stay still even if your scared" the officer said as he got the stuff ready to pull us up. I held nam ra close our foreheads where pressed together slightly as we looked at everyone covering our ears. I saw on jo talk to jimin and then her walk forward as they started to strap the equipment onto her. I rolled my eyes. Of course she'd get to go first.
We watched as they slowly started to pull her up to the helicopter. I looked over at the soldier it seemed like they were talking to someone again.
Jimin was basically almost on board the helicopter when the soldier looked at the other officer "cancel the operation" he said and my eyes widened. Why would they do that?
They started lowering jimin back down as everyone started getting confused.
"Hey why is she coming down?" "Hey what are you guys doing?" Everyone questioned the soliders. They unstrapped the equipment from hyo ryeong as she started to panick and cry because she was confused as to why they stopped helping her. Jimin finally landed on the ground and they did the same to her taking the equipment off of her quickly. She had the same reaction as hyo ryeong.
"Please...please! Sir! Just pull me back up!" She cried as they pushed her towards us. I frowned holding nam ra close as she clung to me and looked at the soldiers. Everytime one of us got close they would point their guns in our direction.

fter some arguing and watching them go up one by one the last guys soon hooked himself up to the helicopter staring at us sadly as he got pulled up.
I shook my head and scoffed "can't trust anybody" I said as the guy fully got onto the helicopter and they flew away from us.
"Just like that when we thought there was a way out. The world abandons us once again" I scoffed and turned around going back to our burnt out fire with Nam ra as everyone slowly walked behind us.
Now how are we going to get out of here....

Author note: yayy the chapters done! I had this sitting in my drafts for a while 😭 I'm so sorry it took me so long to update. I was trying to find a new job and I wanted to be able to put 100% of my attention on this story for you all to enjoy and I didn't want me trying to find a new job to get in the way of that.
But anyways I do have a new job 💕✨️
