After Jeongyeon's mom calmed down, the latter assisted her mom to go back inside her room and take a rest. As soon as they arrived, She tucked her mom under the covers and immediately fall asleep. On the other side, Jeongyeon keeps on thinking about her father's shitty excuse and her mother's current status. A deep sigh escaped on her mouth as she leans her back on the couch.
Few minutes passed her uncle and auntie arrived to switch places, as Jeongyeon prepares to leave since she has work to do in the convenience store.
"Jeongyeon-ah, drink this before you go." Her uncle handed her an energy drink and the latter accepted it and thanked the man. Jeongyeon bid goodbye and then left the hospital. She ride her bike and went to their house to prepare herself for work.
When the latter arrived, she spotted Jaebom arranging the boxes outside. It seems that the new products arrived earlier. Jeongyeon immediately parked her bike at the corner and greeted the older before helping him bring the boxes inside the store and arrange them.
"You can put the boxes of beverages there near the fridge. I'll put them in later before clocking out." Jaebom stated and the younger nodded. Jeongyeon then carried the beverages inside and placed them near the fridge, just like his superior told her to do. After they put the things inside, Jeongyeon changed into her uniform and helped Jaebom putting the newly-delivered products into its corresponding places.
Few minutes passed when Nayeon arrived. She smiled and greeted the two before changing into her uniform, then proceed in helping the others. When Jaebom's done placing the drinks inside the fridge, he bid goodbye to the two younger girls and leave the place. Jeongyeon is in charge at the counter, while Nayeon is now placing steam buns, dumplings and hotdog sandwiches inside the steamer.
"Hey, let me do it. It seems that you're a bit tired." Jeongyeon said, concerned on the girl. She stand and approached Nayeon then take the pack of buns on her hand.
"N-no it's fine, I'm completely fine." Nayeon assured.
"But your face says it all. Look at you, you're paler than usual." The older look at her reflection on her phone and Jeongyeon's right, she's so pale compare on her normal complexion. She thought that maybe because she has her period and that might affect her appearance.
"Hey It's fine, really. I came here to work so please let me do what I really need to do. I'll tell you when I need help, thanks for the concern." Nayeon smiled and steal the buns back and placed them inside the steamer. Jeongyeon just shrugged and went back on the counter.

"Hey are you sure that you're home?"
Jihyo asked on the other line, as she was grabbing a bowl in the cabinet and pour cereals inside.
"A-ah, Y-yes. I'm at my room, don't worry."
Nayeon replied nervously, as she was not prepared to be asked by that. Her friends doesn't know that she's also working part-time at her cousin's store.
"Then why can't I hear Kookeu barking?"
"He's asleep. For heaven's sake Jihyo, I'm telling you that I am completely fine."
Nayeon lied for the second time while biting her nails. She's silently praying that Jihyo would buy her lies and just let her go.
"Okay if you say so. By the way how are you? Do you still have period cramps?"
"Uhm... a bit I guess? It doesn't hurt lately, but I hope it wont. Don't worry I'm completely fine."
"Okie dokie. I'll hang up now and give you time to rest. Byee~"
The younger hang up and Nayeon sighed in relief, knowing that Jihyo believed in her lies. She was about to go out in the stockroom when she felt stinging pain on her uterus. The latter crumpled down in pain as she try her best to be okay.
Meanwhile on the other hand, Jeongyeon finds it suspicious that the older doesn't come out the stockroom. She then stood up went towards the room and knock on the door.
"Nayeon-ssi, Are you alright?" She asked.
"A-ah, y-yes J-jeongyeon ssi. I'm a-alright." The older replied. She can't stand the pain and remain seated on the chair and holding her lower abdomen.
"Is anything okay? You sounded unwell." Jeongyeon stated. When Nayeon didn't reply, she opened the door and found the girl seated with her head above the table, in a sleeping position.
"Nayeon-ssi!" She called and went to her side and lift the girl, whose now soaking in sweat and her face is pale. Jeongyeon turned on the air conditioner and bring water for the latter to drink.
"What happened to you? You're not feeling well." The younger opened the bottled water and guided the older to drink.
"My dysmenorrhea got worse. I thought that it was all better awhile ago, but I guess I was wrong." Nayeon answered in a raspy tone.
"Then maybe you should go undertime today. I'll tell Jaebom oppa what happened, he'll understand your situation for sure." Jeongyeon suggested. Nayeon doesn't want to but considering her condition, she'll just have to take it.
Jeongyeon stepped outside the shop and hailed a cab, once she got one she helped Nayeon get in inside the vehicle and insisted to pay the driver.
"Thank you so much Jeongyeon, I'll treat you dinner next time." Nayeon stated before leaving.
"No worries, Nayeon-ssi. Take a rest when you arrive at your house and get well soon." Jeongyeon smile warmly and waited to get the cab far away before returning to the shop.
He left a message for Jaebom, reporting the situation earlier in which Jaebom understand. He asked about Nayeon's condition and the latter informed him that his cousin is okay.
...
The next day, Nayeon woke up and remove the hot compress placed on her lower abdomen, then went inside the comfort room. Once she's ready, she goes downstairs wherein her mom's cooking breakfast and her dad reading the daily newspaper.
"Good Morning Mom, Good Morning Dad!" She greeted and kissed their cheeks.
"How's your condition, Honey? Are you feeling well?" Her mom asked, while stirring the egg soup she's cooking.
"I'm a bit okay I guess." She answered and went at the fridge to grab the milk.
"Oh before I forgot, someone passed by here and handed this. This was for you she said." Her dad stood up and handed her daughter a black paper bag.
Nayeon took it with curiosity building up inside her.
"Do you know who gave it?" She asked and open the bag.
"She said her name is Jeongyeon. Yoo Jeongyeon if I'm not mistaken. She said that she's a friend of yours." Her Dad said went back on reading the newspaper.
"Oh, I see. Thank you Daddy." Nayeon exclaimed calmly, but she's now happy and eccentric on the inside. The bag contains menstrual pads, Iron supplement, pain killers, chocolates, bananas and some sweets. There's also a paper and the latter took and read it.

Nayeon can't help but to smile while reading the short note. She took the bag and went back at her room, to place the contents on a proper place. As for the note, she keep inside her drawer including the medicines.
"Aigoo Yoo Jeongyeon, you're making me fall harder for you." Nayeon thought dreamily.

Author-nim is back from the dead, and here's an update for you :))
I am very very sorry if the updates were frequent and takes a lot of time to be published. I was very busy with acads and health problems, but I'll assure you that maybe by next month I'll be uploading since the school year is about to end.
