1st day of the second week...

I sat on the bed, hoping that those men would arrive soon; the long wait was beginning to make me have doubts. Shael sat at the window looking bored out of her mind. I whipped my head towards the door startled by thunderous knocks. With a groan I got up, almost forgetting the banding I had worn around my eyes. I leaned towards the bed snatching it from beneath the pillow.

With slow and nonchalant steps I walked towards the door. The insistent knocking was becoming unbearable. "I'm coming, hold on!" I shouted annoyed. With a violent twist of the key, I unlocked the door.

Unforeseeably, a young girl, with hair that looked like the best quality straw stood at the door. She looked up at me with big blue-dough eyes and plump cheeks. "Sorry, little one, but I think you are at the wrong door," I said trying to sound not as annoyed as I was.

The little girl looked towards the stairs, then at me again. "Are you sure, my grandpapa said this is where the man with the rose band on his face lived." The little girl said in a soft and shy tone.

I took a deep breath. "Apologies! What does he want?"

"He told me to call you down for your breakfast!" She said enthusiastically.

"Ah, shoot! That completely slipped my mind. Tell him I'll be down in a minute, ok!"

"Ok!" She shouted before running down the stairs giggling.

I don't know what it was, but something annoyed me about children. I donned some appropriate attire and headed downstairs. I rapidly descended the steps, the intense morning light made the shadowy outlines on the floor stretch.

In the dining area, unusually, many persons sat at the tables chattering and eating breakfast. It wasn't as loud due to how early it was in the morning. The scent of caramel hit my nose, I had a short-lived feeling of ecstasy and calmness washed over me; it was truly a heavenly smell.

I turned to face the counter. The old man's eyebrows were furrowed in concentration, and beads of sweat dripped from his forehead. I walked towards him as he dabbed a cloth on his head. "Morning!" I said, trying to keep a smile on my face.

He fixed his attention on me as he dabbed his greased head again. "Oh! Good morning sonny!" He said gleefully. I almost felt guilty for being in such a sour mood.

He took a wooden spice holder and threw it on the food he was preparing. The sudden flare in heat sent the most wonderful smell of bacon towards my nose; my mouth was beginning to water. "Right! Here is your breakfast." He said as he brought a tray filled with: Sausages, blueberry jam on freshly baked bread, eggs, and from the smell of the liquid in the silver decanter...wine

I carefully took the tray from the counter and thanked the old man. I walked up the stairs, with tensed muscles as I tried to stop the drink from shaking. If only Shael liked people, I wouldn't have to do this. I knocked on the door hard and quickly, Shael opened it. I rolled my eyes underneath the elastic band at her as she smiled at the sight of the food in my hands.

We sat on the edge of the bed, and without hesitation, dug in. "Shael gulped some blueberry Jam and bread down before speaking. "I don't think those men are going to show," Shael said as she leaned herself back on the bed.

I raised an eyebrow. "How can you be so sure, the time hasn't even come for them to show." Shael leaned forward and took a bite out of the sausage before going back to her resent position. She gulped. "I know, but I just have a strong feeling."

We finished eating breakfast and gulped down wine. She rubbed her stomach feeling satisfied. She got up and took her coat from the rack. "I'm going to stretch my legs for a bit." She opened the door and exited; the sound of her footsteps dissipating. I took a seat by the window, watching Shael exit the hotel and enter the busy street.

Many thoughts other than what I was supposed to be thinking about swirled through my head. I tried to shake them but with her staying with me, that would be a hard task. Her beautiful figure, her lovely smell, and her touch all made butterflies tumble around my stomach. I couldn't help but bite my lips at the thought. Sometimes I wondered if she could read my thoughts.

A few hours passed and I could see Shael coming back inside the hotel Her footsteps got nearer and neared before stopping in front of the door. She knocked a couple of times but I opened the door before she could hit it again. "You were out for a while," I said surprised she came back hours late.

"Sorry about that, there was a play going on in the city square, the dwarf on the stage was hilarious, you should've seen him." I was kinda disappointed that she got to have fun without me, but I quickly dismissed the thought.

"Anyway, I'm going to take a bath, the stink of the city seemed to follow me inside here." She said as she walked towards her chest. I took a seat and looked through the window, bored out of my mind.

The sound of water began to drown out the sounds of the street below. The sent of lavender began to fill the room. Random thoughts of her naked body found their way into my head, I couldn't help but get aroused.

My head whipped towards the bathroom door as it began to open. Suddenly, Shael emerged, wrapped in a thick cloth. My heart began to race and my eyes widened at the unexpected occurrence. Shael quickly ran to her chest and held her bosom and the cloth tight to her body. Her hair was curled and wet, and water dripped from her body. My eyes were stuck on her. I tried to look away but her beauty was mesmerizing staring was the only way to satiate this feeling. As she bent down to enter her chest, her bottom filled the void of the cloth. She searched her chest not realizing my eyes were on her. She finally found what she came for outside the privacy of the bathroom, A blue cone-shaped bottle with a golden cover. She rose and was about to head back when her eyes met mine. She firmly held the bottle in her hand as our eyes found it hard to divert from each other's gaze. A feeling that I rarely felt before washed over me, and I wanted this feeling to end.

Her purple eyes stared deeply into mine, I could feel my face begin to turn red. I could feel her wanting of me, but I wasn't sure, and nervousness took over. I held my face embarrassed at what had just occurred. I turned my body and crossed my legs trying to hide my surprising arousal. My sight was now on the street below.

I didn't turn around but I could feel Shael just staring at me before she walked towards the bathroom. I closed my eyes and squeezed my face. A feeling of regret began to wash over me.

It was an unusually long afternoon today after the incident. I still fixed my gaze on the street below trying to block out the embarrassment that would come over me when I face Shael. Slowly, the courage to just drop down at her feet and ask for forgiveness started to emerge. I thought about how Shael would've felt, and the guilt began to take over.

I took a deep breath and turned my head. I had a stab of fear when I saw her. I returned to calmness as her back was turned to me reading through...something. I got up from my seat with a creak and slowly walked toward Shael who didn't even acknowledge my presence.

I reached her side–-my heart racing as I did so. She stared at the scroll with a blank depression. I just wanted to run out of the room and never look at her again but that would be foolish. I took a deep breath again.

"Shael," I said softly. She didn't move an inch.

I sat next to her the bed slightly creaking as I did so. Another deep breath calmed me, " I would like to apologize for what happened later today. I didn't know what came over me, but It was rude and not something that I would usually do." I paused waiting for some kind of reaction, but I received none.

My heart began to race, I was even getting scared. Desperation kicked in, and what I did next surprised even me. I dropped to her feet. "Shael, I am so sorry! I beg you to give me an answer...curse me even, just anything, please!"

I put both my hands beside her knees as I pulled myself closer to her. Out of the blue, I received a slap, that sent a stinging pain circling my cheek. I was so surprised I couldn't help but freeze in the position I was in after she struck. My fear and surprise began to turn into laughter. I couldn't help it.

I arose. "Not what I expected, but It'll do." I was about to go back to my seat when I was dragged by the arm. I was now face-to-face with Shael and her grip on my arm was tight. She stared into my eyes as I did hers.

What came after was...unexpected as well. Shael's lips were now touching mine. My heart was racing, but not with fear any longer. My heart was racing with excitement.

Shael's hand came to the sides of my face as her mouth began to move in ways that made a stream of pleasure travel through my body. Her lips began to work. Her grip was now tight on the muscles underneath my arm.

I held her face; my mouth now overtaking hers. Our heads began to move back and forth as our lips touched. The sound of our wet lips touching began to arouse me even more. I lay Shael down on the bed as she began to writhe underneath me. We went at this for a couple of minutes; both of us not giving each other time to breathe.

Our passionate moment finally stopped when pushed me off of her. She lifted herself from the bed wiping her mouth. I sat up, my chest rising up and down as I tried to catch my breath. Butterflies were now fluttering uncontrollably as I stared at Shael.

Her sight was now fixed on me, her cheeks flushed bright red. I didn't know what to say, what occurred just now was so unexpected and pleasant, the words just would not touch my tongue.

Shael finally broke the awkward silence, panting. "When we get back to the manor, don't tell anyone about this," She said pointing her fingers at me with firmness. It took me a couple of seconds to respond but I did. "Well, of course!"

We just stared at each other before a smile began to creep across my face; I couldn't help it. Shael began to smile as well. Her face became flushed once again, she put her hands to her face dropping on the bed; a muffled screech erupting from beneath her hands. The smile on my face was spread so wide my cheeks began to hurt.
