*Two weeks later*
Today Mads was going on the BFFs podcast. She really didn't want to but Josh really wanted her to go on there.
*Jaden's Pov*
I was laying down on my bed with Nessa cuddle up to me when Cooper came in.
Cooper: Nessa get out.
Nessa: what?-
Cooper: go.
She got off me and left the room.
Jaden: why would you do that?
Cooper: why are you texting Mads?
Jaden: what are you talking about?
Cooper: Sab just told me you've been texting Mads why?
Jaden:umm I'm not texting Mads. She blocked me remember?
Cooper: give me your phone.
Jaden: here.
Cooper: not that one the other one.
Jaden: no.
Cooper: give it.
He snatches it from me and starts going through my messages.
Cooper: oh look you texted Mads and you said you didn't.
Jaden: I'm just making sure she's okay.
Cooper: did you go to New York to stalk her?!
Jaden: could you be any louder?! No, I didn't go to stalk her I had to make sure she's okay.
Cooper: that's not your job!
Jaden: the last time I didn't watch her she almost died.
Cooper: I get that but this is stalking behavior you need to stop.
Jaden: what if this happens again?
Cooper: it was a drunken accident it won't happen again.
Jaden: but what if it does?
Cooper: well then we can't do anything because we're not friends with her anymore there's nothing we can do.
Jaden: just what I wanted to hear.
I said in a sarcastic way.
*Josh's Pov*
Dave: so are you guys dating?
Josh: no Dave.
Dave: ok, are y'all hooking up?
Mads: exactly why I didn't want to come on here.
Brianna: ok I do believe they're not hooking up or dating.
Mads: thank you Bri.
Dave: I still don't believe that but anyways a lot has happened in the last year.
Mads: yeah a lot.
Dave: everyone is wondering including me on why you drop the charges with Nessa?
Mads: what do you mean everyone?
Dave: there's headlines everywhere of you dropping the charges.
I show her what was going around on tea pages.
Mads: yeah but like who said it though?
Josh: probably Nessa's friends.
Brianna: actually here's the interview.
They pull it up Mads starts watching it.
Pap: hi Emma, Sab, how are you guys?
Sab: we're good you?
Pap: I'm good thanks for asking. How's everything going with Nessa's trail?
Emma: what trail?
Pap: she got charged with attempted murder.
Emma: those charges were dropped.
Pap: really?
Emma: yeah Mads dropped the charges awhile ago.
Pap: that's good to know.
Brianna paused the video and Mads was on her phone.
Dave: were you evening paying attention to the video?
Mads: no, but I heard it.
Brianna: so why did you drop the charges?
Mads: because she didn't attempt to murder me. Josh: it was all a complete accident.
Dave: but she was drunk and she knew that.
Mads: I feel like you're trying to shade her.
Dave: well I mean she was under the influence.
Mads: yes. She was upset and piss. She got behind the wheel without thinking twice about it yes but she didn't mean to hit me with her car.
Josh: yeah I don't think she meant to hit her.
Brianna: how are you feeling after the accident?
Mads: I don't know...it's just something I don't like talking about. Can we talk about something else?
Josh: yeah let's just talk about something else.
We wrapped up the podcast and Mads didn't seem happy after it.
Josh: hey, you okay?
Mads: I'm sorry...I love you and I know you love the podcast and everything and I really wanted to also, but I just can't.
Josh: you don't have to go back on the podcast if you don't want to...it's your decision I'm not going to force to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
Mads: it's just that...I don't...I got...when he started talking about the accident it just all started coming back to me, and I just can't handle it.
Josh: again I understand.
Mads: I have to go.
Josh: ok-
She leaves in hurry; I'm really worry about her. She's been like really distant, not physically but I feel like mentally and emotionally. I need to talk to someone about this.
Josh: I'm going to take off.
I tell Brianna and Dave.
Brianna: ok we'll see you later.
I grabbed my phone and went to Bryce's place.
Bryce: what's up, didn't expect to see you here.
Josh: need to talk to you.
Bryce: about?
Josh: can I please just come in.
Bryce: alright.
I walk in and sat on the couch.
Bryce: what's up?
Josh: me and Mads made it official.
Bryce: no way when?!
Josh: on my birthday.
Bryce: that was almost a month ago and now you're telling me.
Josh: she wanted to keep it a secret for now; she's probably going to be mad at me for telling you, but that's not why I'm here.
Bryce: then what?
Josh: I don't even think she wants to be with me?
Bryce: why would you say that?
Josh: because she's like distant not physically but like mentally and emotionally.
Bryce: I don't think it's you.
Josh: what.
Bryce: the accident.
Josh: I'm still not getting it.
Bryce: Sab told me Mads asked her if Nessa was having any nightmares or like panic attacks or something like that from the accident.
Josh: she has PTSD.
Bryce: yeah. Nessa still doesn't remember the accident so that's why it's not happening to her.
Josh: what am I going to do?
Bryce: I don't know but she needs to talk to someone.
Josh: like a therapist?
Bryce: I was going say you, but that'll work too.
Josh: do you really think she would go see one though?
Bryce: I don't know but talk to her tomorrow about it.
*Mads Pov*
Life has been hitting me way too hard. The nightmares that I have every night, the thoughts, and I just feel so alone. I try to put on a smile every day, but it's hard when I'm holding so much inside.

I need the talk to my parents, but that means I have to cross a busy street to get to my car, and when I tell you I get a lot of anxiety crossing street let alone walking on the sidewalk I get a lot. My heart started racing and I started hyperventilating. Tears are streaming down my face right now and I don't know what to do. I see Josh about to walk out of the building where we filmed the podcast, so I run behind the building so he doesn't see me. Once I seen him drive off I called Riley immediately.
Riley: hello?
Mads: Ri- I-I need you. I can't breathe-
Riley: Mads where are you?
Mads: outside the place I told you m-me and Josh were filming the podcast.
Riley: I'm on my way Mads just stay calm and breathe.
Mads: I-I can't.
Riley: I'm going to stay on the phone with you until I get there just breathe for me.
Mads: Ri I don't know whats happening.
Riley: it's okay Mads. You're going be okay I promise.
Mads: please hurry.
Riley: I'm on my way to you now.
I started clenching at my chest struggling to breathe.
Riley: Mads I need you to take deep breathes like we talked about.
Mads: I'm trying...
*Riley's Pov*
I'm driving as fast as I can while I'm still on the phone with Mads.
Riley: stay calm Mads. I'm 5 minutes away.
I don't hear her saying anything.
Riley: Mads? Mads? Mads?!
I started driving faster. When I finally got there I seen paparazzi outside. How am I going to get to her without getting question by the paparazzi. I took a deep breath and got out of my car. I went up to the building anyway. I look behind the building and see Mads rocking back and forth. I hang up the phone and walk up to her.
Riley: Mads?
I hugged her so tight.
Mads: R-Ri I'm s-scared.
Riley: you're just having a panic attack I need you to breathe.
I continued hugging her as her breathing slowed down.
Riley: here put this on so you can get in my car without paparazzi seeing you.
She slowly puts on the hoodie over her dress. I help her up and we quickly went to the car. I helped her get in the car; as soon as I seen the paparazzi coming my way I closed the passenger door and rushed to the drivers side. I got in and started car and pulled off.
Mads: what about my car?
Riley: I'll have Kota come back to get it.
Mads: o-ok.
She put her head on the window and I still see tears falling down her face. I feel so bad for my sister, she's been through so much lately and nobody knows it.
