Mads mom went downstairs and seen Josh sitting on the couch.
Tiffany: well hello Joshua.
Josh: oh...hi Mrs. Lewis I didn't know you would be here.
Tiffany: please call me Tiffany since you're dating my daughter, and everything.
Mads: mom I said be nice.
Mads said while coming down the stairs.
Tiffany: I am being nice.
It was pretty silent after she said that, nobody knew what to say, so it was pretty awkward. Out of nowhere Mads mom broke the silence.
Tiffany: do you love her?
Josh: of course I do. I haven't felt love like this in a while, and I'm bless to have it.
Tiffany: treat her the way she deserves to be treated please.
Josh: I will, I won't let her down again.
Mads gives him a small smile.
Tiffany: do you think this will cause drama?
Mads: I don't know, but I don't care. I cared to much I always did so I'm done caring.
Tiffany: you really do care too much. Now go have fun at your little hockey game, and I'll see y'all when you get back.
Mads: bye mom I love you.
Tiffany: love you too.
Mads grabbed her keys and walked out with Josh.
Josh: well that was...intense.
Mads: I'm sorry about that.
Josh: it's all good. I'll explain to everyone how I love you if I have too.
Mads: you don't have too.
Josh: I know but I will.
Mads: I love you.
Josh: I love you more.
Mads got in Josh's car and he held her hand while driving.
Gavyn: well well well.
Mads: hi Gavyn.
Gavyn: when were y'all going tell me y'all were dating?
Mads looked at Josh and he put his hands up.
Josh: I didn't say anything.
Gavyn: yeah, your sister did.
Josh: of course she did.
Gavyn: not your sister, her sister.
Mads: of course she did.
Josh: we just started dating less than 24hrs ago anyways.
Gavyn: yeah okay.
Josh and Mads got out the car to up everyone else. Josh pulls out their tickets then goes inside.
Thirty Minutes later...
Mads: I literally don't understand this.
Josh: that's why I'm here to explain it.
He starts to explain how it works, but she still didn't understand.
Josh: well I tried
Mads: I'm sorry it's confusing.
Josh: it's alright.
They continued watching the game; Mads really wanted to go on her phone, but she thought that would seem a little disrespectful.
Almost 2 hours later the game was finally done, and it wasn't that bad. Mads actually had a good time but the only reason was because Josh was right next to her.
Josh: had fun?
Mads: yeah. Mainly because I was with you.
He smiles and gives her a kiss on the cheek.
Gavyn: alright.
Josh: shush
