" excited are we?" Mama asks, my smile growing bigger as I stand with my four best friends in-front of our new school. Finally we're starting first grade, together.
" Very" And just then, the school bell went off, indicating it was time for school to start. Mama crouched down and I could see a tear rolling down her cheek while she smiled widely, kissing me on my cheeks and telling me I'm becoming a big girl now.
" Alright, don't let your emotional mama keep you from being late. Good luck to all of you, look after each other okay?" Mama tells all of us and we all nod quickly, already getting excited for our first day.
We say our goodbyes once again before all of us run hand in hand to the school entrance, so many different types of kids going inside as well.
" Hello girls, what class are you in?" A woman stands inside the hallway and we all look at her confused until she looks down at the clipboard in her hands.
" What are your names?" She asks. Before anyone has a chance to reply, Jennie replies for everyone.
" I'm Jennie Kim, that's Lalisa Manoban, and this is Jisoo Kim, Park Roseanne and also y/n y/l/n" Jennie tells her, the women in-front of us glances at her clipboard before looking at all of us.
" Alright girls, follow me - you're all in the same class" She tells us and we all squeal in excitement. She guides us through the huge hallways and all of us just look around the building in fascination.
I peeked through a door on the left and saw a park, I couldn't get a good enough look of it but I was already excited to spend my time there.
The woman lead us into a room which was filled with tables and chairs. There were shelves on the side that were filled with books and board games - this looked like heaven.
Almost in sync, all of us looked at each other with pure shock on our faces.
What I was even more excited about was how many kids were in the room. There were about 10 others and I couldn't wait to get to know them and make more friends.
" Alright girls, go take a seat. Your teacher will be here very soon" The woman who guided us here said, we all nodded and thanked her before walking to the seats in the first row, all of us sitting next to each other without question.
None of us said anything as all we did was observe the classroom. I noticed one of the kids staring at me and I waved at her enthusiastically and she waved back, making me smile.
Soon, someone came inside the room. A girl who looked like she was in her 20's, she was really pretty. She had a huge smile plastered on her face and greeted us all.
" Hi everyone, I'm Miss Chan and I'll be your class teacher - I'm excited to get to know you all but before that, let me take the attendance. I want you to say your name and your favourite food when I call your name out." Miss Chan said happily while she walked over to her desk and took a seat, opening up her laptop in the process.
I could see that Lisa and Rosé were a little nervous for speaking out loud since they are a little more shy while me, Jennie and Jisoo are more confident. I held Lisa's hand and gave her a smile trying to reassure her, I couldn't hold Rosé's hand since she was two seats away but I could already see Jisoo holding her hand.
" Ella, My favourite food is pizza" The first girl replies when Miss Chan calls her name. The list keeps going until Jennie's name is called.
" Jennie, I like dumplings" Jennie said making the four of us giggle softly. Her dumpling cheeks have always been a joke amongst us so her answer was ironic.
Jisoo's name was called out next before it was Rosie.
" Roseanne, I like all s-seafood" Rosie replies nervously, we all give her a smile after, telling her she did good.
" Lalisa, I like potatoes" Lisa said, her tone more on the softer side. We all gave her a thumbs up which made her smile afterwards. It's nice to encourage and be there for my best friends, just like they have always been there for me.
" I'm Y/n, I like ramen" I reply when my name is called out. Just like that, the teacher calls out everyone's names and once we have all marked our attendance she moves onto the next step which was something I was already super eager for.

" Mama, I'm leaving for the party!" I yell out loud, she shouts back telling me to enjoy and I smile - picking up my shoulder bag before unlocking my phone to see a message from Jennie, telling me she's outside.
I couldn't wait to have a fun night, after all the work school has been giving us - I really needed this. I quickly put on my low heels before leaving the house, being careful to not trip when walking down the stairs to the porch. Once I'm down, I look up straight to see Jennie in her yellow Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, this girl is so damn rich.
I wave to them and they wave back, all of them checking me out from head to toe with their eyes as I walked towards the car. Lisa, Rosie and Jisoo sat in the back leaving the passenger seat for me so I went to the other side of the car and opened the door before sitting down and buckling my seat belt. All the others looked flawless, their hair and makeup done and I could tell Jennie helped them with their outfits.
" You look gorgeous" Lisa compliments me, making me giggle as I smile at the compliment - my ego getting a boost.
" You all look flawless" I compliment them all too, we all laugh and have small talk while Jennie drives us to the party house, all of us ready to get super drunk and have the time of our lives.
Once we reach the house, the sound of loud faint music fills our ears, the adrenaline already beginning to get pumped through my veins. Jennie parks the car and we all get out, ready to go inside but before I could take a step, I felt a hand grabbing my forearm making me confused as I look back.
It's Jisoo.
" Yah y/n, put this cardigan on - there are too many people here. Don't get me wrong, you look gorgeous but the dress is too revealing and there will be many drunk guys. I don't want something bad to happen to you" Jisoo says, all of the others agreeing with her.
I frown.
" It's fine guys, it's not like I can't defend myself. The cardigan will ruin my whole outfit, come on - let's just go have fun!" I say, attempting to pull my arm away from Jisoo's grip but she didn't budge - neither did the others.
They have acted like this a couple of times, and I understand them. They are just a little protective of their best friend and there is nothing wrong with that - but they act like I'm a lost puppy and I can't fight. I don't care about the dirty looks I'll get, why should I care? I'm not going to let some pervert eyes stop me from living my life.
" We aren't going y/n, not until you wear the cardigan. We just want you to be safe." Rosé said, seriously. I rolled my eyes but agreed, I wasn't gonna ruin the night for everyone - I just wanted to have fun.
And knowing them, they meant every word they said about not going until I wore it so why argue.
I took the cardigan from Rosé and put it on me, giving them a sarcastic smile.
" Happy?" I ask, a hint of annoyance in my voice and I know they heard it - they just chose to ignore it.
They all nodded so we all finally went inside the house, the loud music getting louder the closer we got and the intoxicating smell of sex and alcohol invading our noses even more. Once we entered the house, the flashing coloured lights hit my eyes as people were dancing around. Some were making out and some were playing games like beer pong.
I headed over to the huge countertop and poured some alcohol punch for myself and the others got some punch for themselves as well while they trailed behind me.
" Come on, lets go to the dance floor!" I yelled after gulping the whole cup of punch down, dragging along the closest person to me - Lisa.

I sat there for what seemed like hours, letting the darkness consume me as my sobs got louder. I much rather prefer staying here by myself in this never ending depression and fear rather than being in the presence of them.
I needed water, badly. From all that crying and sobbing, my throat got drier and my right arm went numb. I could feel the pins and needles going down my legs and I couldn't even walk away the uncomfortable feeling.
The pin drop silence was wiped away when I heard footsteps - a pair of footsteps.
No. Please No.
The door opened and there stood two figures, two that I knew all too well. I closed my eyes as the footsteps came closer to me, tears already building up in my eyes as my body hair stood up from the fear building up.
I could feel her breath close to me already as she crouched down, trailing her finger down my right arm until she touched the metal cuffs.
" Don't try to do anything unexpected." It was Jennie's voice, she spoke. I opened my eyes to see her unlocking the metal cuffs on my right wrist before moving aside, indicating for me to stand up. I stood up with my wobbly legs, the pins and needles feeling attacking me but I tried to shake it off.
" Go ahead, I'm right behind you." Jennie said, pointing to the door where Lisa also stood - standing with her arms crossed.
I couldn't manage to look them in the eye, I felt as if just their gaze could kill me if I did. I looked at the floor while walking towards Lisa - once I was close enough to her, she began walking up the stairs with me knowing to following her.
I glanced back to see Jennie following me from close behind, a sharp pointy knife in her hands. She wouldn't hesitate to use that if i tried to attack them or run, she made that point already.
I drifted my gaze back to the front, already fearing the unknown with what was going to happen next. I glanced at one of the wall decorations on the side of the stairs, the mirror in it reflecting my image. I stopped in my steps unconsciously as I looked at myself in the mirror.
Horrible.
I looked horrible.
My eyes were red and the bags beneath my eyes were puffy and swollen along with my cheeks. My lips were dry and my hair looked like I hadn't showered in days.
" Don't stop, Keep walking." Jennie came close behind, the tip of the knife touching my back slightly, a rush of shiver going down my spine from the feeling.
Not wanting to test her patience, I continued walking, following Lisa until the stairs came to an end. I followed her through the hallway in the right side and entered a room after she went inside, Jennie following behind me closely.
The room's walls were painted white. It looked Simple - a bed with pillows and a duvet, a desk and a chair as well as a closet. Nothing seemed odd about the room which confused me.
" This will be your room. Behave and you'll be rewarded. Mess around with us and you'll be punished for your actions. There are cameras all around this room and we'll be checking on you so don't think of doing anything stupid, is that clear?" She asked, sternly. Her tone leaving in no room for any arguments or compromise. She was treating me like an animal.
But even then, I nodded.
Too scared to go against what she was capable of.
" I asked a question and I don't hear a response from you." She demanded me to speak with words. I glanced towards Lisa, she didn't say a singular word but her expression was emotionless. She didn't have enough courage to speak to me sternly, but Jennie did - I know them from the back of mind....just like how they know me.
" I understand." I reply, my voice croaky from the lack of any water for the past day. It was so dry at this point that it started to hurt, I just needed water.
" I'll be back with a change of clothes and food. Lisa, stay here with her." Jennie said, Lisa replying with a nod.
Jennie gave one more glance around the room before she left, leaving the door wide open.
