Y/N and Peter bought Heartgold and Soulsilver. Their adventure both begin in a little town called New Bark Town and get greeted with their in-game mom and friend. They're currently at Professor Elms lab, ready to choose their Pokémon.
"I can't believe dad didn't want me to play this." Y/N sighs.
"But didn't you get distracted and forget doing your work home the last time we played Pokémon?" Peter reminds his boyfriend.
Y/N looks at him. "Yes, and?" Peter didn't reply, just looking confuse. They soon got their starter Pokémon. "I'm going to call my Cyndaquil Arnold. What nickname did you choose?"
"I called my Chikorita Peter, like me!" Peter says innocently.
Y/N found it weird to call your Pokémon your own name. He did however worried why he choose Chikorita. "Peter, you know Chikorita is basically dead weight in this game, right?"
Peter still smiles positively. "Don't worry Y/N, we played Platinum and I learned a lot. I think I'm going to be fine."

Later that day, Peter looks frustrated thanks to his fourth loss to Falkner, the first gym leader that have flying type, which is effective against Peter's starter. "Y/N, I lost again."
"And I won against the second gym." Y/N smiles while Peter suffer. "It's nice to burn through the bugs."
"Did you heard me?" Peter asks innocently.
Y/N chuckles and turn back to his DS. "Yeah, just go to the route below and catch a Mareep and train it."
"Thank you."

Two days later, both men got further in their journey. Y/N is about to face his sixth gym leader, Jasmine. He manages to capture a lot of strong Pokémon, which he calls his slaves. Meanwhile Peter only has a Bayleef, a Flaaffy and a Togetic. He's currently in Goldenrod City with 2 badges and he's about to feel the wrath of Whitney's Miltank.
"Y/N, I'm almost get my third badge! This is so easy!" Peter says way too innocently for what about to go down.
Y/N knows the despair Peter is about to get. "Good for you." He says reassuring, not wanting to spoil the surprise.
Whitney sends out her Miltank and Peter look ready for his attack. He orders his Bayleef to use razer leaf. However, the Miltank stomp the Bayleef and flinch it. "Damnit." Peter mutters. Bayleef soon get critted by Miltank with another Stomp. Afterwards, Peter sends out Togetic, but it quickly fainted to Miltank's rollout. That fate also landed on Flaaffy. Peter looks flabbergasted. "H-how?!"
"She does that. Just test something out and hope it works." Y/N suggests. "Also, get more slaves."
"I don't like how you refer to your Pokémon's as slaves."

A week later, Y/N manage to get all of the badges from Jotho and walk towards the League. Peter has 5 badges and is currently in the Safari zone, enjoying capturing Pokémon's that has a chance of running away. Peter soon looks surprise at his DS screen and gasp. Y/N looks confuse at his boyfriend.
"Holy- a shiny!" Peter smiles.
Y/N looks at Peter's screen. "Lucky bastard." He mutters and see the usual green Skiploom now in a pink colour. "That's a nice shiny."
"I know right!" Peter smiles excitedly.
"Good luck capturing it." Y/N says.
"Good luck?" Peter looks back and soon realizes that he's in the Safari Zone. Meaning that any moment Pokémon's can run away. "Oh, shit..."
Peter begins to feel nervous. He decided to risk it and just throw the safari ball and try to capture it. There is one shake. "C'mon." A second shake. "Go in." A third shake. "Yes yes yes-" And the Pokémon got captured. Peter stands up and scream in excitement. "Yes!" Y/N can't help but smile for Peter. Even if he sucks in the game, at least he got a shiny that isn't the red Gyarados.
Tony walks in, looking confuse at his intern. "Please don't be anything sexual. Please don't be anything sexual." He mutters to himself.
"Mr. Stark, I have a shiny!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Tony responds. He then looks at his son. "Aren't you supposed to do your homework?"
Y/N avoids his dad's eyes. "Uhm, no."
Peter returns to his DS and begin giving a nickname to his shiny Skiploom. "I'm going to name it after Mr. Stark!"
Tony walks towards Peter and smiles. "Why thank you! I'm glad you name me after a-" Tony looks confuse at innocent looking Pokémon. "Peter, why did you name a pink plant after me?"

Y/N is currently battling the Jotho champion, Lance, the dragon master that only has 3 dragon-type Pokémon which includes 3 Dragonites. His Gyarados is currently finishing off the last Dragonite with an ice fang. The HP bar slowly goes down and after a few seconds, the Dragonite fainted, and Y/N won.
"Haha bitch, I'm the champion!" He grins. "Time to go to Kanto."
Peter looks over to him. "Kanto?"
"Yeah, after you defeat the champion, you can go to Kanto, another region."
Peter looks surprise. "You can go to another region?!"
Y/N hums. "Yep."
"Then I need to hurry up! Luckily I just capture Lugia." Peter smiles proudly.
"Not only that, you can battle the 8 gym leaders-" Y/N tried to explain the features in Kanto to Peter, but his dad walks in the room behind Y/N. He looks angry.
"Y/N, did you get a F in science!?"
"Oh no." Y/N looks behind him. Peter begins to feel awkward. "It was an accident dad." Y/N let out a nervous laughter with a grin.
Tony glares at him. "Y/N, how many bad grades did you get while playing that game?"
Y/N stops grinning. "Umm... not enough to ruin my total grades."
"Y/N, you're grounded and prohibited to play any video games."
"Motherfu-"

Y/N haven't play Heartgold about a week. Although it sucks, at least he isn't bored with Peter. Y/N invited his boyfriend for a sleepover. When he told his dad about it, he didn't mind so long if he wasn't gaming. It's currently nighttime. Y/N and Peter are wearing their pajamas and on Y/N's bed.
"Hey Peter, do you want to do something fun?" Y/N grins.
Peter looks nervously. "Umm... sure."
As Peter leans to Y/N to kiss him, however Y/N grabs his DS at his nightstand and start it up. He then looks confuse at Peter. "What are you doing?"
Peter then realizes he wasn't talking about 'that'. "Oh, you meant playing Pokémon. I thought you were talking about..."
Y/N then knows what Peter is talking about. "Oh! But we can do that too if you want!"
"No, it's alright. Let me grab my DS." Peter smiles innocently. He stands on and walk towards his bag.
Y/N sighs. "Damnit, almost Y/N, almost." He mutters to himself.
Peter then lay next to Y/N. Both boys smiling at their DS'. "How far are you?" Peter asks.
"I didn't have a chance to play further. I'm about to go to Kanto." Y/N answers.
"Hey, me too!" Peter smiles. "We can go together. Oh, my team also got better and change it a little."
Y/N smiles proudly. "I'm happy you got this far my friend."
Peter looks confuse. "Don't you mean boyfriend?"
Y/N return a confuse look. "That doesn't make any sense."
Meanwhile, Tony and the rest of the team are in the conference room, just being done with a meeting. Tony is sitting near the tables end, looking through some papers. Steve is standing next to him.
"What do you want Steve?" Tony says while looking at the papers.
"I think last mission you should've taken a different approach." Steve says annoyed. "You were way too careless about your fighting style."
Tony scoffs. "Tell me about it. That's how I got Y/N."
"Tony." Steve says with a stern voice. "Take this seriously. People lives are in stake-"
"Sir, Y/N is again playing a video game." Friday interrupts Steve.
Tony looks up and immediately get annoyed. "Really!? Again!?" He then groans and look at Steve, who looks confuse at him. "I told him to quiet playing those games. You know, I had a feeling he does something like this. This is way I told Friday to tattle on him."
"Tony, can we resume talking about-"
Tony stands up and walk away. He soon arrives at his son's room and barge in. He sees Y/N and Peter on the bed and playing with their DS. They look shocked at Tony.
"You know, I really wish you two were making out, but no! You want to play those stupid games!" Tony says angrily.
"It's just a game dad!" Y/N responds. Tony walks towards Y/N and grabs his DS. "Hey!"
"You will get this back after you get better grades." Tony says annoyed. He then walks towards Y/N's Switch and PlayStation. "I will take this too." Y/N looks surprise at his dad and so did his boyfriend, who just holding his DS. Tony walks towards the door and look at Y/N. "Peter, stop playing. You're a bad influence for my son."
Peter turns off his DS. "I'm sorry Mr. Stark."
Tony turns off the lights. "Now sleep." He then closes the door, leaving the two alone.
Y/N still feels shocked of what happened. Peter looks at Y/N. "Uhh, honey, are you okay?"
Y/N sighs. "Now I don't have anything to do."
