Chapter 1
I woke up this morning feeling different, it was a new sense of things I was unable to explain. I just couldn't find the right word for it. I tried to recall the day before but it's just a blur, I probably just slept in again. I pick my glasses up of the table next to my bed and put them on. My vision does not clear up, in fact it only gets worse. I figure it'll probably clear up later so I get dressed and check my outfit in my mirror.
From the corner of my eye It feels like someone is watching me through my window. By the time I turn to look the figure in gone. I take off my glasses, and everything clears up which is weird because I normally can't see without my glasses. I put them in my backpack just in case an run downstairs. When I get to the kitchen, I find my mom cooking breakfast.
"Morning Mom." I say
"Good morning Liza, are you ready to be a sophomore? she says back
When I step outside, the sunlight burns my eyes and a strange new feeling is coursing through my veins, I've found the word I was looking for.
Rejuvenating.
