"She was here" Loki said after the boy fell unconscious
"We need to get him to the jet now" Bruce said
They left the room and made there way back to the jet where they saw nat and Clint waiting there
"Is that a kid" Clint said as he saw the unconscious boy in Steve's arms
"We'll explain once we're on the jet and in the air" Steve said holding the boy close to him and he'd just realised how light the boy was
"Let's get him inside" Bruce said
Steve carried the boy inside following Bruce and the others trailing behind him. Bruce led Steve into the back of the place where a medical bed was placed.
"Lay him down gently Steve on his front if we can and we need to try and remove his top I don't want it getting stuck to the wounds" Bruce said
Steve laid the teen down and turned him over Bruce then gently took the top and then looked at the extent of the wound until they realised it was worse then they thought.
His back was covered in more wounds then they saw and his ribs and collar bone where sticking out Clint then chose the time to walk into the room
"Nat's ready to... oh my god" Clint gasped as he saw the teens condition Thor and tony heard Clint from the other room and pushed passed him into the room and saw the condition the kid was in
"Who would do this to a child" Thor said
When loki walked into the jet he looked at the state of his hands which where covered in dirt and god knows what else so while the other disappeared Loki went to the sink and washed the dirt off and dried them.
Went he went to the main area he didn't find anyone until he heard Thor's loud mouth he saw Clint standing in the doorway where the others must be.
Loki squeezed passed Clint and saw what they where staring at it was the child who was laying face down shirtless.
"Stop staring at him like he's some kind of item in a bloody museum" Loki snarled at them
"Loki's right everybody get out while I do what I can until we get him to the med-bay" Bruce said they all nodded and moved passed Loki and exited the room
"Loki you stay" Bruce said Loki turned to him
"I'll need your help your the only one that doesn't get distracted" Bruce said Loki nodded
"What do you need me to do" Loki said making his way over
"I need to disinfect the wounds and clear out any debris in them" Bruce started
"Doesn't sound too bad" Loki said
"Except We don't have any pain medication or anything to knock him out if he wakes up he's going to be in extreme pain" Bruce then said
"Oh and you need me to what hold him down" Loki said
"Yes I know the others won't be able to handle it especially when it's a kid" Bruce told him Loki agreed with him
"And I think you know what he's going through" Bruce said Loki knew that Bruce and the others had seen the scars on his back
"Okay let's get started then" Bruce said and gathered up the supplies he needed
"Ok first I need to clean the wounds" he said and picked up a bottle of liquid and poured it on a cloth.
Bruce dabbed the cloth on one of the wounds which made the boy whine but not wake up he proceeded wiping the wound to remove the blood and puss after removing most of it he could see there was a problem with two of the wounds
"Shit" Bruce cursed
"Two of the wounds are worse than the others there is dead skin which needs to be cut away for them to heal" Bruce explained to Loki as Bruce took a scalpel from the table
"This is probably time for you to step in Loki" Bruce said
Bruce lowered the scalpel to the dead skin and cut that's when a scream ripped through the room the boy woke up and began thrashing
"Hold him" Bruce shouted
Loki held the boy down and he struggled against him while Bruce continued to cut the skin
The boy suddenly kicked his leg which caused Bruce to stumble and nearly stabbing the boy
"I can't continue when he's like this" Bruce said
"I think I have a way to calm him" Loki said looking at the crying boy
"How" Bruce asked
"I think I have enough magic to get into his mind" Loki said
"If you think it will work then go for it" Bruce said
Loki placed his hand on the boys sweaty forehead and used the magic to transfer himself into the mind and started flicking through memories until he found one
Memory
Daryl skipped through the cells until he found the door he was looking for he pulled it open and was immediately pounced on the boy laughed me sat on the floor
"Hello again" the boy laughed as the pup began licking his face
"I brought you some food" he said me took some chicken out of his pocked and fed it to the pup and she ate it and began sniffing for more
"I'm sorry I don't have anymore" the boy said and patted the pups head
The boy sat there as the pup laid down next to him the continued chatting
End
Loki faded out of the memory a his magic ran out he opened his eyes to see Bruce wrapping the wounds and the boy was unconscious
"Good job I managed to remove the dead skin and wrap the wounds" Bruce said as he looked up at Loki concerned
"What is it Loki" Bruce said
"The boy knew the wolf he was with her but she was a pup and he was around eleven or twelve years old" Loki said staring at the sleeping boy
"And that was his happiest memory being with the wolf" Bruce asked
"It seems like that" Loki said
Bruce and Loki left the room leaving the boy to sleep and made there way to the others.
"What was happening in there Clint had to go to the cockpit with Nat because he couldn't take the screaming coming from that kid" Tony said
"There was a problem with two of the wounds I had to cut the dead skin away without pain medication" Bruce explained
"Jesus" muttered Tony
"How did you get him to stop" Steve said
"Loki went into his mind to find a happy memory to keep him in but the interesting part was the fact that the memory involved the wolf" Bruce said
"Okay So he definitely knows the wolf" Tony said
"How's he doing now" Steve asked
"I've managed to clean and wrap the wounds but he still has a high fever so we need to get him attached to an IV as soon as we get to the Medbay" Bruce said
10 Minutes Later
As soon as the jet landed outside the compound the avengers stepped out and started making there way inside.
Steve carried the boy into the compound and entered the med-bay.
"Lay him on the bed" Bruce told Steve
Steve laid the boy on his front and stepped back Bruce started preparing to put in the IV just as the needle was halfway in the boy started to wake up
