"SUMIHIKO WAKE UP! WAKE UUP!!"
The sound of an alarm turns off as the boy wakes up by his loud sister.
"Miyabi?"
"Hurry up let's go! I can't believe I'm gonna be late cause of you" she says as she puts on her backpack.
"Wait running late? Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" He asks.
Miyabi sighs.
"I have. You're a heavy sleeper. Now let's go before—hey what are you doing!?"
Sumihiko ends up opening the window outside of their room and climbs out.
"I got to take a quick route!" He says and runs off.
"You idiot, I'm—ugh!!" Miyabi ends up getting out of the room the way Sumihiko ended.
"B-bye mom!"
And so she runs off following her brother.
I'm gonna kill him! I'm gonna kill him!
Miyabi catches up to her brother.
"Sumihiko don't ever do that again!"
"Sorry sis! But I wanna get that perfect attendance award!"
Sumihiko and Miyabi passes through buildings and other routes to get to school quick.
"Check!"
Two old men were playing shogi when all of a sudden Sumihiko and Miyabi passed by.
"Sorry, coming through!"
"Excuse us!"
"What's with you this morning! And to bring your sister on this!?" The old man says.
"Sorry!!"
"That hooligan!"
Meanwhile on tv.
"Good morning! This is Ubuyashiki, who has set record as the longest-living Japanese person ever!"
"Amazing!"
Back to the two teens. Sumihiko and Miyabi passes by Haganezuka maintenance.
Sumihiko didn't see as he gets startled by three little girls.
"Sumihiko watch where you're going" Miyabi says.
"Oops, sorry!"
The three girls laughs.
"Kyaha it's the running guy!"
Miyabi tries to contain her laugh.
"Pff, looks like you got a nickname around these parts"
Sumihiko only gets red with embarrassment.
As the two come across a street they see a cop car.
"I don't see anybody"
"We'll keep watching"
Suddenly Sumihiko ends up flipping himself over the vehicle.
"Sumihiko be careful! Uhm, ah, s-sorry!"
Miyabi does a quick bow and runs after her brother again.
"That must be the one we got seven reports about. I didn't know there were two though?"
"Yeah..."
"For a moment I thought we ran him over! That punk!" The officer growls.
Sumihiko and Miyabi run together almost close to campus.
"Man, are we gonna make it in time?" He says liking at his watch.
"Let's hope so, or else I'll blame you for making me late!" Miyabi pouts.
"Sis you didn't have to though"
"Hmp, of course I had to, you're my brother" she says with a responsible tone.
"Sister" Sumihiko sobs.
Soon they both start to get tired. They catch their breathes as they continue to light jog to school.
The two siblings pass by three kids two boys and a girl. All carrying small toys they opened up from a mystery ball.
This kinda fascinated Miyabi a little to taking a glance at the kids little toy charms.
"What did you get?"
"Show me! Show me!"
"Oh cool! That's a rare character giichi!"
"This is what I got!"
"Wow! I got the same again...my allowance already ran out too"
"You can have ours" the two boys said.
"Huh!? Really!?"
So cute...maybe me and Sumihiko could get one after school.
As the two continue to run down the sidewalk towards the gate ahead. Miyabi hear other footsteps heading your way.
She turn and sees Tojiro.
And Miyabi has a huge crush on him. Big time.
"Sumihiko! Miyabi! Fine morning isn't it!?"
"T-T-Tojiro!?" Miyabi blushes.
"Good morning, Tojiro!"
Now the three of them were running.
"It's unusual for you to be late!"
"Yeah! I started training at 4 a.m and got absorbed! I couldn't hear anything until my dad whacked me!" Tojiro laughs.
"That's messed up, dude!"
"Oh no, are you gonna be okay, Tojiro?"
Miyabi says while she had a tint of blush on her face.
"Haha I'll be fine, thank you for your concern Miyabi!"
Miyabi just blushes and steams up.
"Oh that reminds me, you two should join the kendo club! Or something else! But you guys should join a sport!"
"Kendo, huh? I guess I'll try it out. Sounds fun!" Miyabi says.
She hear sirens and turns her head to see a cop car coming after those three.
Holy shit! The cops are after us!?
"You with the short hair! Stop!"
Oh no, they're after Sumihiko...wait, no that's bad!!
They all just keep running.
"Eh?! But sis you're already the student body President of the school, plus you're the president of book club, Vice President of the creative writing club and cooking club!!" Sumihiko yells out.
Miyabi turns to look back and only blushes.
"A-And I can make room for one more! Besides you should take at least one Sumihiko!" She says.
"No way! It'd cut into my sleep!"
"Aw come on! At least try something! Besides, I think you guys'll be awesome!" Tojiro says giving a thumbs up.
"Please stop, you're too fast!!"
Miyabi sobs in the inside.
Guess we're ignoring them, huh...
"Grah stop you dumb kids!!"
As the sirens were heard by a staff member, he starts to panic and realize what it was about.
"Close the gate! Close the gate!"
"But there's still 3mins left. And the student body President is there"
"With an habitual offender!! Hurry! Hurry! Close it!"
The students soon start to close the gate.
"I think we'll make it!" Sumihiko smiles.
"We better!" Miyabi says.
"Yeah!"
Soon all three of them jump over the tall gate. And safely on school ground.
"We barely made it!" Sumihiko says.
"I can't believe it!" Miyabi sighs in huge relief.
"Yep!" Tojiro raises his arm in victory.
As soon as the cop car stops by the gate. The two officers come out and give a piece of their minds to the staff.
"We need to talk..."

Somewhere at a park.
"Another peaceful day...but the lab might fire me...I wish I could live alone deep in the mountains..."
The poor man sniffs.

At the Kamado residents.
"Hello? Yes, this is the Kamado residents...what?! My children did that?! I'm so sorry for the trouble!!"

• Sumihiko— Got scolded by the police and his parents for hours after taking a dangerous route to school and they all assumed that Miyabi was forced into it so she wasn't scolded. He cried in the park on the way home, but he wasn't alone as Miyabi comforted him. His dream is to work in a zoo. He likes slow lorises.
"I got yelled at so much, I cried"
"There, there"
• Miyabi— She's a straight-A student. Has never gotten in trouble by her parents or the law until she confessed that she insisted on tagging along with Sumihiko that day. She had no regrets as she was grounded for that day. She's a responsible and lovable young lady. She's best friends with Touko. Her dream is to become a lawyer and hopefully have Tojiro ask her out on nice little dates that soon blossoms to something more.

Can I just say how very thankful I am to have written this book and to have so many supporters that have done so much for this book?
When I first started I thought there was no way this book was gonna be a hit. I honestly thought okay imma just write and leave when I lose interest in it.
But after months passed, I couldn't believe how many ppl liked it.
I've probably started this book 3 years ago in high school, and now I'm ending it as a college student. I can't express my joy enough that you all made it so possible.
And to just wait on my updates that probably has taken some millenniums! But you're here and I'm so happy everyone has stayed and enjoyed this book.
Thank you for those who encouraged me to do my kimetsu no yabai one shot book. Because it surprisingly became such a HUGE hit and I also never thought it'd make up to where it is now.
And for those of you wondering why the reader had red hair instead of just regular black? Okay again I guess that was just out of random. You could say that it changed cause of something she ate, like Mitsuri's situation if you want.
