'melllll' fredo wrapped his arms around me as we made our way over to him
'hey' i smiled pulling away from the hug
rhys quickly grabbed my hand and squeezed it
'what you drinking' fredo asked before shotting a drink that looked like sambuca
'i'm good fred, i'm driving' i laughed
'seriously' he frowned 'get an uber'
'nah im not feeling it anyway' i replied
'mhm well see by the end of the night'
rhys mixed hennessy and coke in a cup before we went over to the sofa. i sat down next to him, he wrapped his arm around my waist as i put my head on his shoulder
'seriously mel don't do anything dumb tonight' he sighed 'don't drink or nothing'
'are you serious' i lifted my head up and looked at him
'well yeah' he said 'i know what you're like'
'what the fucks that supposed to mean' i raised my eyebrow
'you're easily pressured into things that's all' he shrugged 'i don't want you affecting the baby'
'you can't be serious' i laughed sarcastically moving out of his grip

i walked away before he could say anymore. i didn't want to cause a scene by fighting with him tonight, not infront of people.
i understood where he was coming from about fredo but me and him were only friends now. things had happened in the past but i wouldn't go there again. atleast not while i was still with rhys.
i made my way over to dave who was stood on his own.
'i need a drink man' i sighed

'why does everyone think i'm actually going to' i rolled my eyes

'fucking rhys' i replied 'starting an argument for no reason man'
'telling me how i can't drink, like i don't already know' i explained 'going on about how i'm easily pressured, does he seriously think i would be so stupid'
'then gets all mad over fredo giving me a hug' i said 'saying how he's too friendly and all this shit. he can't control who i'm friends with'

'i get it' he replied 'he's trying though mel, he just wants to look out for you, and the baby'
'he brought up mya too' i said 'what the fuck

'now' dave answered for her 'i'll crash at yours too'
i pulled out my phone to see if rhys had texted me.

i said bye to aj before making my way outside to find rhys with dave and jada. he was stood against a wall, talking to the same girl aj must've been talking about. i'd never seen her before, i didn't recognise her.
'rhys' i said walking over towards him
he looked up at me and smiled
'hey' he pulled me into a hug
'you good?' i laughed
'i'm sorry' he rubbed my back
'it's fine babe' i replied 'let's just go you're pissed'

rhys put his arm over my shoulder as we walked back to my car. jada and dave were already in the car.
'took you're time' dave laughed as i started the car
'mhm hes pissed' i sighed
'sorry' rhys leant his head against the window

the rest of the journey was awkward. no one really said a word, not even dave or jada. i didn't know if i was overreacting but girls like that don't wanna just be friends with rappers. she was all over him before she saw me but rhys couldn't see that.
i made my way to my room. i got changed into a hoodie and shorts before climbing into bed. rhys came in not long after.
'mel' he led down next to me and wrapped his arm around my waist.
'mm' i mumbled
i turned over to face him as he pulled me into a hug
'i'm sorry' he said as he rubbed my back
'i know' i sighed 'its okay, i overreacted'
'i love you' he kissed my forehead
'i'm just stressed about everything rhys' i felt myself tearing up 'we're gunna have a kid, it doesn't feel real. i don't wanna do it alone'
